House holiday rentals in Caswell Beach

We had a fantastic stay at this home! The house was stocked with everything we could possibly need—and then some. The pool was perfect for our family of 12, and the location couldn’t have been better. We were just minutes from everything, and Lil & John’s ice cream shop down the street became a daily stop for us. We rented the golf cart for the week, which was a great choice—it made exploring the island super convenient, though even the beach was only a 5-minute walk if we chose to go on foot. The house came fully loaded with beach chairs, bikes, paddle boards, a smoker, and plenty of games and toys for everyone to enjoy. It’s spacious enough to relax together or find a quiet corner on your own. Jess, the host, was amazing—she was incredibly responsive and helpful with anything we needed. You can tell she really cares about making her guests feel at home. We’ll definitely be reaching out to Jess again the next time we visit Oak Island. Highly recommend!

Thank you for having us. Your home is a great stay for families and it’s nice that you allow dogs. Hosts are very responsive and will fix whatever issues might arise. Also, they leave you be and let you have complete control of the place. The pool is very nice and the screened in porch too. House is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need and more. My only wishes were that there was better grass in the yard and around the pool area for dogs. Also, that the house didn’t have the faint smell of cigarette smoke. Aside from that, our stay was excellent and we would visit again. Thank you! We appreciate it. ❤️

Great place for a family of eight! We had one toddler and one infant with six adults. We had plenty of space! The kids enjoyed the pool and golf cart (purchased golf cart separately). Our adult kids also enjoyed the golf cart. The host was responsive to all questions and keeps a very nice place. The pool shed had a small wagon to take to the beach which was an added bonus we weren’t expecting. We also found a playpen for the infant which saved us from having to unpack ours. The outside shower was also fantastic after a day at the beach to keep from taking sand inside (if you have kids, you know what a task this can be). Also, when I left, I immediately added the sheets that were on the King bed to my Amazon list. So comfortable! We were within two blocks of the beach, coffee shops, and good food. Our favorite for breakfast was Fixins!

My stay was absolutely amazing! The host was incredibly sweet, kind, and welcoming she made sure everything was perfect from the moment I arrived. The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. You can tell she really cares about her guests and puts a lot of love into her hosting. I felt comfortable and safe the entire time. We had a wonderful stay with our two families! It felt larger than expected and there was plenty of room for our two families and more. The kids all enjoyed the game room and the small pool in the backyard. The neighborhood was quiet and an easy walk to the beach. We are all hoping to stay here again!

Brenda’s place is pristine, very neat, lots of fun add ons with the pool, sauna, walking distance to great restaurants, beach front and Publix. Brenda is super responsive and saved our mini-vacay by helping us at the 9th hour! We’ll certainly come back as we loved it there especially as first time in Oak Island.

The house was immaculate! From living quarters, kitchen, bedrooms, bathroom, screened porch and everything in between it truly felt like no corner was missed and as a mom of 2 young kids that was such a relief to walk into. There were beach and pool items that were actually usable and not rusted and salt water rotted like your typical rental spots. The location was perfect. Far enough from the main road to be private, but close enough to take the golf cart or walk anywhere you’d need to go. Mary was communicative, thankful and kind. I would not hesitate to rent here again.

Beautifully furnished beach home with enough space to easily enjoy a wonderful family get together. Kitchen is nicely accessorized- for cooking in -and many restaurants are close enough to walk to. Beach is just a short walk away. And if you need something the grocery store is conveniently located across the street. We totally enjoyed our stay.!!

Carrie was very clear in her instructions of how to check -in and check-out. The Ca-Sea-Ta was a wonderful and beautiful place to stay. Carrie has set this place up so you feel like you're at home. It is a very relaxing place to stay. It is a short walk to the beach. The outdoor shower was such a refreshing and lovely place to get all the sand off before going into the spacious apartment. They had all the beach items you'll need. It was great to have a washer/dryer so we could come home with clean clothes.(I hate coming home from vacation to have to do laundry!) The Ca-Sea-Ta was the perfect get away!

Peaceful Beach Getaway in Carolina Beach I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Carolina Beach. The location was absolutely perfect—just a short walk from the beach, but tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. It was the ideal spot to unwind and disconnect. Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere—it made for a relaxing escape from the busyness of daily life. If you’re looking for a calm, coastal retreat with a great location, I highly recommend this place. I’d definitely love to come back again!

The Phat Cat was the perfect house and location for our little family of six. Having so many bedrooms and bed options with children is fantastic!! Plus having a provided pack and plate and highchair made traveling even easier. We also loved using the beach wagon, which made it so convenient to walk to the beach. Which was very easy. ; and our children are 7, 5, 3 and 8 months old. And we had no issues with the distance. The kitchen had everything that we needed for our meals, which is very uncommon in rentals and very much appreciated. We did eat out a couple of times and there was very good restaurants close by. We would highly recommend this to any of our family or friends and we will be returning.!!!

We had a wonderful stay at this property! Easy walk to the beach and multiple restaurants! Neighborhood is tranquil and beautiful and the house is very relaxing - we enjoyed the screened in porch and you can hear the ocean from the swing out front!

It smelt amazing upon walking in! Gave it more of a home feel. Everything was super clean! Loved the extra touch of toothbrushes/toothpaste. All the little things made our week great. Easy beach access topped off our stay and I would highly recommend this place!

Communication was excellent and timely. Very informative. Stephen recommended the 70th Street beach access which was easy entry and extremely close. We felt comfortable and cozy and welcomed in the house - great beds - (didn't try the twins). Back porch was a winner! We will surely return next year to this home. Thank you Stephen.

We come to Oak Island every year and this house was by far our favorite we have ever stayed at and plan to come back here next year! The mattresses are so comfortable, the house was so clean, comfortable and cozy that it was a joy to come back to every day and it truly felt like a luxurious vacation. Every amenity was top notch, and we truly wanted for nothing while staying here. Having direct access to the beach, with an outdoor shower with hot water, and all of the beach chairs and sunshades you need was just incredible. We had the best time- thanks again!!

We had a great stay here and will be back. Comfortable and very clean. Just like the pictures. Well-stocked kitchen. My dog loved the fenced backyard. The fencing was in good shape and had no holes, so it was a safe yard for my small puppy. Although the house is close enough to the beach to walk, we drove to the beach every day and had no trouble finding parking since there are spots at each beach access point. When a minor issue popped up at the house, Scott responded immediately and got it taken care of right away. Great communication throughout the process. Thanks, Scott!

We loved the hammock house! It was so peaceful and beautiful. It was also very convenient to be able to walk to the beach easily and there were amazing restaurants and plenty to do nearby. We will be back!

Our family has gone to Oak Island every year around Memorial Day for the last 6 years and we've always been looking for a spot that we can return to every year. Nothing has been quite right. Until we stayed here. This spot has everything we love. Right on the beach with easy access. Great layout with big beautiful windows. Something fun for the boys to play (air hockey). Really comfy beds. Very clean. Walking distance to all our favorite restaurants. It was great. We will definitely be back!

The property location was SO convenient - steps from the beach, walkable to restaurants and shops, and came with all the things needed when going to and from the beach (chairs, beach umbrella, wagon, hose to wash fee, etc.). We enjoyed hanging out on the back deck looking out at the beach while we ate or read a book or just talked. The dogs loved the place too and we appreciated that the couch was covered for them to lay on and relax. While the bathrooms are small, the water pressure was great and everything worked fine. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with what we needed to cook and eat in. The check-in and check-out instructions were clear and not onerous. I loved having the sliding door from the bedroom to the back deck and being able to look out at the ocean while laying in bed. The hosts were both super responsive with any questions we had. We'll definitely be back!

We had a great stay as always at BHI. Especially grateful for all of the little things Vacaysh had to make traveling with our 2 and 4 year olds easier. The kids wore out the bikes and scooters in the garage on the culdesac and loved taking the kayaks down to the salt marsh at high tide. The linens were amazing. Best towels I’ve ever had in a rental. Ultimately love how this rental felt like Air BnB when it just started, a direct connection to the family you’re renting from and a space that feels lived in a warm, not just a rental property with a big property management group behind it. Stef picked up my phone call on the first ring when I needed something and was easily reachable by text. Overall really pleased with the great family time and a great place to stay!
