My daughter and I had the best experience staying at Henry’s cottage! We loved the house! It’s very nicely decorated, very clean and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Loved the town of Saffron Walden and its closeness to Audley End station where it was easy to move by train to other places. Have to say that what made our stay feel so special was Henry our host! He is such a nice person! So attentive and welcoming. We got to meet Joanna too, super nice with us! They are both lovely people! Thank you Henry for your kindness and for letting us enjoy your home!

The property is located in a beautiful and very peaceful place with meadows full of flowers and wildlife. Saying that.. it is still easy to get to different locations. Perfect if you wish to get away from big city life. The annex is as per description - very clean and cozy. Luca was very helpful and responsive to all our messages. He communicated in polite and friendly manner. We would definitely recommend this place for anyone who wants to have a nice and relaxing time away from crowds.

Very friendly, greeted us when we arrived and made us feel very welcome. Lovely pub just a few yards away too. Would definitely go back. The sun was shinning and we sat outside in the beautiful garden.

Four of us had a very pleasant stay at Lesley's place. Very cosy and well equipped and great location for us as we continued to walk the Icknield Way. The setting of the pub is very attractive and Lesley and her husband were very welcoming. Definitely recommend.
