Me and my friends loved this BNB!! The hot tub was amazing and the pool was an awesome addition. Instructions were clear and even called to walk me through everything. Plenty of places to sleep and loads of places to go!

This was one of the most memorable places I have ever lived at! The property is huge, well maintained and just a perfect getaway spot with the right amount of amenities. Will definitely recommend this place 10/10 to anyone visiting Acadia National Park.

We felt like at home. The house is located in a private property with swimming pool and tennis courts. It’s very clean and very peaceful. Just a clarification about the description : there’s no bathroom in the basement. Then if you come with elderly people or very young kids, it could be annoying. If you like cooking, the kitchen is very well equipped. We´ll keep a very good memory of our stay in Ducktrap Retreat during the colorful foliage season.

Booked this place for our anniversary to get away from the city for a weekend.. we found exactly what we were looking for! The hot tub was wonderful, the house was clean and cute, and we had everything we could have needed! Estelle was very responsive and gave clear instructions for everything. Would recommend this place for a quiet getaway or a small group trip in the summer!

My return visit to the Boathouse was even lovelier than I hoped it would be. The location can't be matched by anything else I've seen. I enjoyed a September visit with my dog and was lucky to have pristine weather. I lived a very simple and healthy outdoors life and came home the better for it. The Boathouse is true to its description: it is simple and rustic and uncomplicated but well-equipped, and is perfect for one-and-dog, or for two people. A little coming-and-going from the neighboring houses meant that I didn't feel isolated. Margaret is truly an exceptional and friendly host who communicates promptly and clearly. I almost hesitate to share "my" Boathouse location with too many of my back-home friends because it feels so intimate and special. I already want to be back there. I offer my deep thanks to Margaret and to the place that I could - briefly - call home.

We had the most amazing week at Adam and Lauren’s place! I truly cannot say enough about how wonderful it was. The house was and cozy inviting- we felt right at home. And it had absolutely everything we could have possibly needed. All of the furniture was incredibly comfortable, and we slept amazingly in the king sized bed. But what made this place shine was the outdoor space. First, it is nice and private, separated from all the neighbors by trees/patches of woods. But beyond the privacy, the hosts have put so much attention into making it outstanding with all the amenities you could want on vacation- an amazing hot tub, a lovely little lounge space, a tent to get out of the sun or rain, a grilling area, AND a pool?! PLUS a separate, fully fenced space for dogs?? AND THEN it’s only 20 min to Bar Harbor?! It’s got it all. Truly. If you are considering booking this place, do not hesitate for one second. It is the PERFECT Acadia getaway. And Adam and Lauren are great, attentive hosts!

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The hosts couldn’t have been any nicer. We loved the space was perfect for our needs. It was close to all that we needed but nice and quiet. The extra touches in the house like fresh flowers were lovely. Highly recommend this place.

We absolutely loved our stay at Lupine Landing. It was wonderful to be right on the water, especially with access to a beach and kayaks. The house was perfect for the two of us and our small dog, and had everything we needed: pantry staples, beach towels, sunscreen. The bathrooms seemed to have been recently updated which was also a great surprise. We would definitely recommend staying here and look forward to our next trip to LDI!

There’s not enough words to say how wonderful Alana was from the initial booking to check out. We have booked a lot of Airbnb’s and this is our all time favorite. The location is amazing with the water view. I was so excited about the decor I spent an hour sending pictures to my daughter. We really loved the history behind the house too. This is our new go-to everytime we visit the area. Thank you for sharing such an incredible home!

Quickly became one of our favourite ever Airbnbs - such a beautiful space, perfect for the two of us and two friends to use as a base for exploring the Maine coast. Completely immaculate, perfectly laid out, and with a great outside area and shared/private beach which was great for beach combing even on greyer days. Highly recommend Amandine Bakery which is just a few minutes walk, and loved the Three Tides waterside restaurants in Belfast just a short drive away. Jason was very helpful, and quickly responded to any questions (not that we required a huge amount as the house was so well appointed!). Would love to return.

We had an incredible stay at the Blue Hill Bay house! Nestled in a peaceful wooded setting, the home feels wonderfully secluded, yet inviting. The expansive windows, especially from the top floor loft, make you feel like you’re living in a treehouse. We loved spending evenings around the fire pit, which is surrounded by thoughtfully curated plants, creating a truly magical atmosphere. The grill was easy to use, making outdoor meals a breeze. Inside, the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms spotless. We also appreciated how thoughtfully designed the space was, especially since it's hard to find a cute place that also warmly welcomes dogs. If you’re considering a stay here, don’t hesitate, this place is a gem! We can’t wait to return.

We absolutely loved our 5 day stay! Perfect in every way. Rich is so responsive and we honestly felt so comfortable and really did not want to go home to our real home! The location is so peaceful. A perfect get-away for us as two newly retired folks. We are already excited to plan another visit!

We absolutely adored this place. It was huge and very comfortable. We actually ended up spending a significant portion of the trip at home because it was so relaxing. The kitchen has everything you might need and we really appreciate the coffee and tea! Tiffany was splendid and even dropped off half watermelon for us to enjoy. Amanda was very responsive and gave great tips on things to do in the area. This had everything we were looking for and more. If I ever get the pleasure to go Maine again, I definitely will be staying here!

Such a peaceful and charming getaway! Loved the private backyard space and all of the cute design details. Plenty of fans to keep us cool and lots of supplies/activities. The little radio speaker was great and loved that there were some guidebooks to read and games to play. The first aid kit was fully stocked too which was so handy. SO glad that we had this spot to come back to after long days in bar harbor, nice to be away from the touristy area and to have such a cozy space to unwind. The neighboring town of Ellsworth was super cute and definitely worth a visit if you stay here. Would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to visit the area.

An absolute dream of a stay! The pictures and description do not do this house justice. My friends and I were in awe when we opened the door. You could tell that every section of the house had the thought put into the comfort of whoever stays in the house. My friends and I were visiting Acadia but decided to stay a little further out in Brooklin. The drive to Acadia isn't bad...it's about 50 minutes to an hour to get to the visitor's center. We didn't mind driving. The view from the house was great in the morning. I slept with the blinds open to be awaken by the beauty of the view. The kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast and coffee before we headed out for the day. The bathrooms were huge and very clean. There is a catwalk that connects the two top bedrooms...SO COOL! Jen and Steve messaged me many recommendations in the area. I had a question about an area to explore and Jen and Steve responded within minutes with great suggestions. This is a dream house!

Beauty by the sea! Thia rental in Stockton Springs turned out to be a gem. We spent most of our time out on the confortable deck enjoying the view. There is a private little rock beach out front that can be walk along when the tide is low. We loved the house, it had everything we needed for a mother-daughter crew of 4. The rental was in close proximity to several state parks which we explored when it wasn't raining. Will stay again.

All the previous reviews indicated we would love this location, the setting, the caring of the host....we were inspired to join Airbnb to just be able to stay here!!! The beauty of the surroundings is remarkable and we admire the care taken to keep it in its refined natural state. We are so thankful we took the description and reviews to heart! We now have another great Maine memory!

John's place is absolutely beautiful and homey! The house has been totally renovated in the winter of 2025 and is very lovely, classy, on-trend in ways that make this seaside cottage feel so refreshed, current and relatable. And that's just the INSIDES! The deck overhanging the rocks to the shore is THE perfect place to hang out: start your day here with a mug of hot coffee. Have lunch and cocktails in the afternoon/evening while viewing the unspoiled, gorgeous bay. Nature and serenity are what this place is ALL about! Enjoy the total peace, privacy and happiness this home provides. It's a true gem!

Very nice home, right on the ocean. Appreciated the well appointed kitchen, spice rack and clean BBQ grill.

The cottage was beautiful, I loved the artwork and light fixtures. The small details made Babettes home lovely and peaceful. I enjoyed watching the deer in the back meadow in the evenings and was most appreciative that my pup was welcomed there as well. I highly recommend if you tee looking for a quite get away

What a beautiful hidden gem this lake house is! Nestled into the Maine forest on the edge of the peaceful lake, it was a perfect spot for a relaxed reunion for two families. As we have small children, I appreciated that the water isn't too close to the house but still accessible via stairs. Travis and Laura were excellent hosts and had the house stocked with everything we could need for a wonderful stay!
