Pleasant stay, in this simple but cozy house. The location is in a quiet area and ideal for spending a few relaxing days, away from the daily hustle and bustle. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. We recommend it.

This is a great place to stay in this part of the world. The house is very big and the pictures give a highly accurate representation of what it is like in real life. The swimming pool in particular is very large. The garden is lovely, lots of shaded areas for morning coffee or an evening drink. Obviously you will need a car: it's about 20 minutes from the delightful town of Uzes, half an hour from Nimes and an hour from Arles, Avignon, Aigues Mortes. The nearest beach is L'Espiguette which is about an hour and 15 minutes away, though we preferred river swimming - you can do this at several places near the Pont du Gard. There is also canoeing and canyoning within half an hour. Plenty of pretty hilltop villages are close by, our favourite was Lussan north of Uzes. The nearest town is Moussac where there is a small supermarket and bakery. We did most of our supermarket shopping at Carrefour in Uzes which seemed to have the biggest selection. One of our favourite wine caves - Bourdic - is 10 miniues away. The Vin en Vrac sells at less than 2 euros a litre. If you are coming from London the best way to get there is to take the Eurostar direct from St Pancras to Avignon. It's about a six hour journey and there are plenty of car hire options when you arrive. The house is about an hour away. Overall we were very happy with our time here and would definitely very recommend it.
