For my first time being back home in 15 years, this was perfection! The place was so cozy and rustic, as well as charming and up to date. We loved the bathroom. I could've just lived in the shower for 3 days. It's also not far from my friends and family, while still giving off that private and quiet feel. My favorite part of the trip was when the adorable white/black aussie met me at the door for breakfast the second morning. LOL. It was a great place to stay and made the nerve-racking trip all the better. THANKS! Can't wait to see it in another 15 years.

Paul’s place is a beautiful and peaceful oasis up in the Santa Barbara hills. The location was amazing, with views of the ocean and on an old avocado ranch! The home was exactly as described and had unique touches from Paul’s travels around the world. Our favorite space was the outdoor deck where we enjoyed all our meals. And Paul was a fantastic host! He was friendly, communicative, thoughtful and available for anything we needed. Would highly recommend this beautiful home!

It was perfect, better than perfect: Top of line new Airstream ✅ Best sauna you’ll ever sit in ✅ Best hot tub ✅ Wood burning fire pit with proper seating ✅ Best Landscaping and well curated outside lighting ✅ coolest outdoor shower you’ll actually enjoy using ✅ every amenity (robes, slippers, easy to use coffee machine, audio, most comfortable patio seating ever, towels, blankets, huge fridge). It was magical. The host is soooooo responsive. We’re big coffee drinkers and we used all the instant cups for the maker so I mentioned it. We noticed a platter full of the coffee maker things (I don’t know what they’re called) placed by the front. It was like the coffee fairy payed us a visit. They asked if we needed anything after we checked in and before checking out. The bed was super comfy. I can go on.

Off the beaten path cottage that truly feels like another world. When you walk in, you feel right at home.

Had a perfect short stay here and would definitely stay again. Great amount of space and not a bad drive into town. Worked perfectly for our family of four.

We are so impressed with our stay at Ojala and so grateful to our hosts for creating a beautiful, relaxing environment and sharing it with guests. We had a very comfortable stay and enjoyed the amenities provided. Loved the fresh produce and duck eggs we were greeted with, the fireplace was also a lovely touch. Jesus’s home was very clean and updated with beautiful modern farm house touches! So much thoughtfulness went into their welcome basket, to baking supplies, fully stocked coffee bar, variety of fun complimentary snack cupboard, and lavender soaking tub supplies! Property was very private and quiet with lots of outdoor seating along with a big Santa Maria charcoal grill. Definitely would recommend 100%
