The location was great, close to many restaurants and shops, great ocean breeze, great ocean view from the room, beautiful grounds, and 5 minutes from my sons house on Camp Pendleton!

It's always better staying with family at a home rather than a hotel. Kim's place was no exception. Lots of space, nice gathering area, big deck (with freeway noise), close to the beaches, restaurants, and Carlsbad Outlet Mall. Would love to stay here again.

View was spectacular! Loved the decor style! It’s an older unit but still well maintained. Loved the amenities and proximity to the beach and restaurants in Oceanside. Would definitely stay here again!

This is such a beautiful home, I already want to go back! The walk to the beach was easy and so close. The privacy of the outdoor seating area was really nice. Kitchen was clean and spotless and the beds were incredibly comfortable! The water pressure in the showers wasn’t very strong, but everything else was perfect. Would absolutely stay again! Oh, and the hosts were very responsive throughout the stay when I had any questions!

From the moment we arrived, they made us feel completely at home with their warm hospitality and thoughtful touches. They go above and beyond to ensure every detail is taken care of — you can genuinely feel how much they care about their guests. The guest home itself is absolutely majestic. Nestled right by the ocean (2mi), it’s a peaceful, serene retreat with beautiful greenery and a calming atmosphere that melts all your stress away. Every corner of the space is beautifully maintained and thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. If you’re looking for a quiet, luxurious, and welcoming escape by the sea, look no further. Leanne and Jim’s place is a hidden gem, and we can’t recommend it highly enough. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Vivian and John‘s cottage was a perfect place for a three day stay. Very peaceful and calm with beautiful surroundings and close to everything I needed to get to. I would love to come back at some point.

We had a fabulous time at the Granny Flat! Everything was pristine and Kristen has thought of every amenity. She was kind and responsive. We loved the peaceful backyard with gorgeous views. The location is super convenient and a max of 25-30 mins to anywhere else in the SD area. Our pups had a great time, too! Would love to stay here again!

Kathi and Byron are great hosts and the place is beautiful, exactly as described. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb! The location was stunning, with ocean views and the soothing sound of the waves—it was the perfect place to relax after a day out. There were several great restaurants within walking distance, and we loved being able to grab snacks from the nearby Oxxo, just a short 5-minute walk away. The host was very accommodating, allowing us an early check-in, which we really appreciated. Security at the front was helpful and friendly—they assigned us a parking space and made it easy to find the building. We did experience a couple of minor issues: the shower wasn’t draining properly, and on the third day, the door wouldn't lock. The host responded quickly to our messages, but unfortunately, no one showed up after we waited about an hour. However, the issue was resolved while we were out, so everything was fine when we returned. Despite those small hiccups, we had a lovely time and would definitely consider staying here again. Great location, close walk to the beach. Our family of 4 enjoyed using the boogie boards, beach chairs and bikes that were available to us. Coffee shops and breweries were close by. Warrens place was perfect for our little getaway. Would highly recommend!

We LOVED this place! Baby items along with all of the beach supplies made our visit so much easier! Spent our mornings eating breakfast on the patio with the ocean view (my toddler demanded it every morning) and the days walking to the beach and surrounding areas. Great location, great space, nice grounds/property. We would definitely stay here again!

The apartment is, well appointed, spacious & complete with everything you could want. The gardens are beyond beautiful, with lots of interesting trees and shrubbery and even a walking trail around the whole property. The pool is lovely and child safe. We felt very safe, there was an entry code for the front gate and another for our unit. The whole house is located in a beautiful, upscale area.

I had a great time staying at Thelma De La Paz’s place! The space was cozy, very clean, and exactly what I needed for a comfortable stay. Thelma was a wonderful host - polite, welcoming, and super responsive to any questions I had. Highly recommend!

Lovely place in the hills, loved the amenities. Pool and playground for our little one. Kris and his daughters were so wonderful. We really enjoyed our time there. Perfect house for a week of relaxation and exploring the area.

Overall fantastic stay! House owner lives on property but the house is secluded just for house guest use. An incident happened where my daughter had an accident during nap time and Kathleen responded quickly and helped us with the change of bedding.

Brett was extremely accommodating to my whole family while we stayed at his beautiful home. Would definitely stay here again.
