Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Cardiff

Had a wonderful stay at Janine’s place very cosy and homely. Very clean with a nice comfy bed and a good welcome hamper. We were staying for a wedding at St Fagans so the location was ideal and the local taxis service was brilliant. Highly recommend Janine’s place to stay.

This was the perfect house for a really comfy stay during a weekend working away. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook each night, the beds were super comfy and the shower actually had water pressure so amazing! With 2 cars we did struggle to park as arrived late each day but it wouldn’t put me off I’d just maybe book a park on my drive thing close by.

I booked last minute as a trip for the dogs and I and I’m shocked this was available to be honest! Super light and airy, lovely amount of space for us and I easily took crates to put up. I always have the best time hiking the dogs in Wales and this is in a nice spot to various walks. Would love to go back and highly recommend!

This is a great house, outside the congested city centre but really close to some fantastic facilities, restaurants, parks and sights. House is fantastically well-maintained and plenty of amenities. Directions and instructions were clear and easy to access. It felt homely and comfortable and we settled right in. Some great outdoor space and lovely little garden. Friendly and contactable host, and you can tell she’s taken great care to make the house as welcoming as possible. Would totally recommend. 😊

Very nice host. Has a cute and private patio that we ate dinner on. There is no AC and we came during a heatwave, so a portable fan would be a nice addition. Washer/dryer were a bonus! Would stay again!

Sian’s house feels very homely and is in a beautiful quiet street. The house has everything you could need and even thoughtful touches like milk and eggs and some sweet treats. The house is beautiful and full of Welsh history and charm. Sian was always quick to respond to my messages. Thank you!

A great place to stay. short walk to the centre. We were a group of four friends and we had everything we needed. All the amenities are there and the beds were comfortable. Ben is quick to respond and the instructions are very clear. Free parking is an added bonus as can be expensive in Cardiff.

We had a wonderful stay at Penylan Annexe. Superb Air BnB with welcoming and friendly hosts. Byron and Kate gave us recommendations for local walks and restaurants and were exceptionally helpful. The annex is well thought out, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back.

I had a lovely last-minute stay at Liz’s place — it was absolutely perfect for a quiet night away. It had everything and more needed for it. The space was spotless, cozy, and exactly what I needed. Liz was so friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. I would 100% return. Highly recommend!

What I can find in the room is a beautiful bay view from the room, walkable to local shops and restaurants, plenty of parking spaces, good kitchen enough for simple cooking. This room is good for couple to stay.

We had a couple of relaxing days at Christine's place. It was clean, the bed was comfortable and everything we needed was provided. There are also some nice restaurants close by. I would definitely stay again

The place is very easy to reach from the main station in Cardiff and also close by all the local restaurants, coffees, shops - perfect location. Place was cosy and perfect for the purpose of our travel. Host was very helpful and organised parking permit straight away. There is a self check-in which makes the experience extremely convenient. Tesco 3 min away and city centre 10 min walking. We enjoyed Wales and we are looking to come back!

Very helpfull, good communication, great suggestions and most of all, a lovely house. The initial form filling and deposit providing on their own platform was kind of jarring and a bit of a hassle but I guess thats how they maintain it so well and it was well worth the state of the place. Would 100% recommend, dont let the form filling stop you!

Enjoyed an excellent long weekend at Jolanta’s homely and beautifully presented flat. Was a short walk away to the City Centre, and perfect location for the Pride Cymru Parade and Festival. The flat was spotless, with everything you need. And the fan was invaluable for the hot weather we had, keeping the bedroom a pleasant temperature to sleep. Jolanta is an excellent host, very responsive and helpful and provided excellent and detailed instructions for check-in. Would highly recommend this listing!

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely apartment in Cardiff! The place was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The location couldn’t have been better as you’re in walking distance to Cardiff bay and Cardiff centre! Tony was absolutely wonderful—friendly, incredibly responsive, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. It made a real difference knowing we could reach out with any questions and get a prompt, kind response. All in all, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Very cosy apartment in a great part of the city. Comfortable with all of the amenities needed for a short break. Louisa was a great host and communicated everything we needed to know.

The Pad is a wonderful place to stay in a really nice area. The apartment is immaculate and has a beautifully curated art deco interior. The space has everything you need, Jane really has thought of everything. We felt relaxed in the space; the gorgeous views from the balcony and visits from Mr Hopkins were an added bonus. We both said that we had never stayed in an AirBnB that was so good before. Jane knew it was our anniversary and very thoughtfully added some special extras. We will definitely be back when we return to Cardiff! Cardiff centre is easily accessible by public transport, or on foot (about 30 mins). The local area has a great selection of shops and restaurants, as well as a lovely park.

This accommodation exceeded our expectations. Lovely quiet location perfect for our personal needs. It was spotlessly clean and the walk in shower with a seat was perfect as well. We could not fault anything about it. Thoughtful touches included biscuits, butter, jam and marmalade in the fridge and soap and shower gell in the bathroom. Simply excellent in every way. Absolutely lovely property, immaculately clean. Both beds were really comfortable with lovely pillows and quilts. Very easy walk into town centre for shopping, restaurants and bars. Really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again when coming back to Cardiff, highly recommend!!
