We had a lovely, relaxing time at Whileaway Lodge. The hot tub was private and a great way to ease aching legs after walking around Cheddar Gorge all day!

Lovely location, the views were beautiful and accommodation was cosy. Enjoy use of the hot tub and pizza oven.

Great place for a quiet retreat. Peaceful, lakeside cabin with a lovely hot tub. We stayed in the Grebe lodge which you can’t fish from. There are others that you can fish from if that’s what you’re after. Reception has a shop that sells all your basic needs such as tea, coffee, sugar, chocolate and beers. I would recommend if you’re arriving after hours that you bring your own tea / coffee and milk as there are none in the cabins themselves. Would recommend a stay here and we will stay here again. A really relaxing weekend in the countryside wishing earshot of Cardiff.

A huge thank you to Anna and Darral! We booked a very last minute getaway for a few days and this listing stood out from the rest. Beautiful surroundings which were clearly well maintained, with the added extra of being able to watch the wildlife and animals from the comfort of the lodge. The home itself was beautifully decorated and had fantastic amenities including the hot tub which Darral kindly heated prior to our arrival, a luxury stay all round. Anna and Darral were friendly and helpful, and responded promptly to our messages. We cannot wait to come back!

Victoria & Craig have re-written the rulebook when it comes to hosting. Both were very very friendly and welcoming upon arrival. Nothing was too much trouble and every single detail you can think of was covered. The cabin was extremely well appointed in beautiful, peaceful, and very private surroundings! Everything was immaculate, it was impossible to believe that someone had stayed in it just before we arrived. Although completely left to our own devices the welcome pack, instruction book and decor made you feel like they were there to make sure you were having a good time. An extremely professional, beautiful and well run setup from two lovely people! Can’t wait to come back! Love to the Alpacas aswell!!

Booked this cabin for a weekend away for my boyfriend’s birthday, and absolutely fell in love with this accommodation!!! The place was stunning and exceeded our expectations and the hot tub was the perfect added perk! The staff at strawberry field park were super helpful and friendly. They sorted out added extras such as balloons and rose petals on short notice! Could not be more happy about booking this spot. A beautiful hidden gem and I cannot wait to return here soon! Super close to cheddar town and wells and was a nice peaceful private spot to spend some time away from home! Honestly this was a home away from home and could not ask for more 🫶🏻

Booked this last minute and absolutely loved it! Cabin felt and is brand new, spotless and very clean. The cabin is a lot bigger than I had imagined which gave me space to do my yoga in the mornings. Very comfy king size bed, big shower, fully fitted kitchen, everything is new. Great location, can walk to the vineyard just up the path and the fields which was gorgeous views. Secluded to shut off from the outside world. The porch was lovely to sit in the mornings and evenings. Highly recommend staying here.

We were 4 people and the place was very nice and beautiful. We checked in late evening but Paul welcomed us warmly and showed the place.He was very nice! My kids liked the outdoor toys which gave us some time to ourselves. The communication was great. Nice, clean and kids room was cute! We also enjoyed bbq and the stay.Thank you Paul.

We spent a lovely week in Gareth’s property while we were working in the area. It had all the features we needed, and even with a few WiFi hiccups it was all resolved in the end. Gareth was easy to contact with prompt responses. He went out of his way to enable our stay to be the best it could

We had a wonderful stay at Jo’s cabin. The cabin has everything you need and is in a lovely location . Not far to Monmouth with great restaurant options and abundant walks in the surrounding area. The only negative was having to take our bins away as waste management isn’t provided which was a shame as we wanted to go for a nice walk on the day we left and had to leave bins in the car all day. Overall a great stay though, thank you!

Lovely stay for me and my Mrs peaceful night away for us

We have just returned from staying in Layla’s lodge for 2 nights with our 4 children. Our children loved staying in the lodge and so did we! The lodge is warm and very clean! There are lots of plugs for charging phones etc! You have a table out the front and private area where the children can play. We had a campfire under the barn the first night which Craig had set out for us. We also walked to the holly bush for food one evening and the food is beautiful! Craig was so attentive and was always on hand if needed anything. We are hoping to come back!

Lovely quiet place right on the beach. And spotless.

The Daffodil cottage is absolutely lovey Clean Fresh and fully equipped with everything needed for our short stay. We stayed with our four pomeranians and were more than impressed with the private fenced garden keeping them safe and secure. Our Host Diane was extremely friendly and very accommodating bringing us fresh milk on our arrival. Would highly recommend this accommodation and would most definitely book again

We had a lovely time at PINETREE Llwynau Farm. Very cosy cabin with everything you need for a relaxing stay with kids.

Paula was fantastic, we got picked up at the local station, Paula was very thorough of local amenities and local history which was excellent to know! she made sure everything was comfortable as possible. I thank them both as My partner had an excellent 30th Birthday.

We really enjoyed our short stay here, the surroundings were picturesque and peaceful. We would definitely stay again!

Martin's cabin was the ideal place to stay whilst visiting family at Christmas - comfortable, quiet and a 5 minute walk from the centre of Usk. Martin was a considerate and helpful host who ensured there was milk, coffee and teabags there, as well as chocolates, and a bottle of wine in the fridge, which I thought was a nice touch. He was also easily contactable, which was reassuring, though there were no issues whatsoever. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to visit Usk, and I would happily stay there again myself.

What a beautiful place! the views from the balcony was just 10/10! I would 100% be coming back here! Amanda was very lovely and SUPER helpful! Also be prepared to be greeted by a very friendly clingy cat 🤣

Well worth the money, great host and lovely cabin that has everything you need!

We had a fabulous time at the Giraffe Lodge, we took a 3 year old and a 6 year old and it was so exciting using the wheelbarrows to take our luggage through the forest. The trail around the forest was really thought out and the kids loved it. The lodge was beautiful, fire pit, bbq, all essentials included, just amazing. We would definitely return! Thankyou
