Apartment holiday rentals in Cape Elizabeth

It's a comfortable place in fantastic location, in a quiet residential neighborhood, perfect for those who like to walk -- to Eastern Prom and Trail, food trucks and kayak rentals, Washington Ave., Congress St., Downtown, and Old Port. Easy parking in street right in front (except certain no-parking days Oct 1 to May 31). Whole Foods and Trader Joe's are a short drive away. Plenty spacious for two, with lots of windows and light, a well-appointed kitchen, and comfortable bedroom and bath. Note that this is a second floor flat, with another Airbnb unit on third floor. If you have a choice, it would be worth climbing the second flight of steep stairs to avoid having upstairs neighbors who might be noisy. There aren't water views or porch or balcony if those are priorities.

This Airbnb was so cozy and wonderful it was hard to want to leave. It had everything you could ask for with the most amazing view. It’s also a short walk away from the cutest market that serves that best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. Kerry was also super responsive and so friendly! Would rate more stars if I could and would absolutely come back here

Katrina's place was great!! I've never slept on such a comfortable bed!!! It was a bit difficult to find but Katrina's instructions warned that some navigation systems would have a hard time and she offered detailed instructions on how to locate the place. Check in was seamless and the place was spotless. It was absolutely perfect four our one night stay. Katrina was very communicative. We would absolutely stay here again if we ever visit Portland again.

A perfect place for someone alone or a couple! Plenty of space for either. Updated amenities, stylish, super clean and homey. I felt safe and comfortable! Location is great, close to restaurants/grocery/the bridge to Portland. I will definitely stay at again when visiting!!

This was the perfect getaway! The location is perfectly quiet, which also being close to anything you’d want to do. And the garden made it even better! We hope to return again soon!

We had a great stay at Matthew’s place! It was the perfect location and less than a ten minute drive to everything we wanted to do. The space was clean and inviting and perfect for a couple. They offered lots of local recommendations and things to do and had great amenities. Will definitely book this spot again when visiting Portland!

Great location just a short drive into downtown. Also, we really enjoyed the local restaurants, ice cream stand, and coffee shop all within a few blocks of the place. The beds and coach are very comfortable, we would consider staying again upon our return. As other comments have mentioned, there is resident family above which I believe includes a younger child who can be heard running around a lot. This is an older building so I am guessing hardwood floors are throughout and that accentuated the noise.

Sharon & Eric were very friendly upon arrival and throughout the stay. Eric helped us with our luggage and they both gave us great suggestions and had great conversation. The apartment itself is perfect for two people and in a nice neighborhood. Would highly recommend if you are looking to explore Portland!

Staying at Stacey’s studio was nothing short of amazing! My fiance and I were on an engagement celebration vacation and we really loved this homey atmosphere. Great natural light and space. The location is so close to beautiful bay and oceanfronts and it’s so cheap to uber into Downtown Portland. We also loved having a backyard space to ourselves. Stacey was very accommodating and we would love to come back and stay at her studio again.

Wonderful environment. Great host. Went out of her way to be helpful. Purchased a small styrofoam cooler for us since we are traveling to a lot of locations over a number of weeks. Apartment is immaculate. Everything is labeled. Gave us recommendations for restaurants. Extremely responsive to our requests for information.

The most charming and tasteful and comfortable Airbnb ever. Truly. They have thought of everything you could ever need, and the overall design and aesthetic are amazing. I would move in and stay for a long time were I needing to be in Portland. You also have a beautiful view from your window of their lovely garden. Wish every Airbnb would model their places on this one!

We loved our long weekend at Kathy’s place on Willard Beach! It was easy to find and access, clean and comfortable, and full of character and charm. It was a quiet little place to land after exploring Portland that was very walkable and close to cute shops and restaurants. We traveled with our 3 year-old and 1.5 year-old, and it was easy to “toddler-proof.” Kathy was very responsive and helpful to recommend activities for us when our plans were foiled by rain. Would love to come back and stay again!

The loft was a great stay. The space has a great lay out and is well appointed. The central location right in the heart of Old Port makes it easy to walk to the majority of the sights and spots you'd want to visit. There's typical city background noise but that is clearly explained in the listing; it was not an issue with the noise machines.

Upper floor apartment with two fairly steep narrow flights of stairs for access: But the climb is worth it! This is a primarily residential neighborhood, very quiet and peaceful. Yet there are restaurants and bars just a few blocks away: the James Beard award winning Zu Bakery, the Ugly Duckling cafe, Smalls, and a low-key locals’ bar down at the end of the block. Apartment was spacious, with separate sections for dining, lounging, and a small built in desk/counter for working. Bedrooms are to the rear and quiet. Mattresses were quality & the apartment’s interior was super clean. It’s a shoes-off place, which helps. We appreciated the better than average knives, pots, pans, and the small selection of basic supplies, which included a good amount of paper supplies, coffee, etc. Thanks to Glen for being such a good host! This is what Air B&B is supposed to be like!

Hands down my favorite Airbnb! Emma and Dave are thoughtful, responsive hosts whose space is a tranquil and restorative. It is beautifully designed with comfortable beds, furniture and perfectly layered lighting. The neighborhood is very quiet and we slept soundly every night. In fact, I feel like we did a little less sightseeing than we normally would have because we just didn’t want to leave! Our daughter loved the cozy sleeping nooks. Every detail was considered. I’ve already recommended this location to a couple of friends who live in Boston and would gladly stay again if we find ourselves back in ME. Loved every minute of our stay! Thanks, Emma and Dave!

Overall pleasant stay at Cynthia’s. A very close driving distance to downtown shops and restaurants, about 10-15 min. And conveniently located a few houses down from the beach & beach chairs and towels were provided. The place had everything we needed for our short stay. AC wall unit and standing fan are in unit to help with warm summer days/nights. Cynthia was fast to respond when we requested a couple more wash cloths so we appreciated that as well.

Great stay, parking was easy, everything was so clean and well thought out. The towels were the softest. Everything we needed was provided and easy to find. Also, the pool was great.

Stayed here for 5 days. Cozy, welcoming, and clean. Ashanti and James were excellent hosts and very responsive to questions. If we return to the area we’ll definitely see if they have openings!

I flew in for work and only stayed a couple days but definitely enjoyed the space. I will be coming back to this Airbnb in fall

Beautiful, quaint spot! We had a very quick stopover but it was perfect! We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub after a long day on the road. Would definitely recommend Ren’s place!

Great Airbnb! Clean, spacious, and comfortable. Excellent kitchen with every amenity you could want. Nicely decorated. Nice residential neighborhood. We were able to walk to a few restaurants and were close to the beautiful Back Cove trail.
