Holiday rentals with beach access in Caniço

Fantastic apartment! Very spacious with all the amenities you need for a home away from home. Great location close to a shopping mall with a big supermarket. Lots of excellent restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Easy to get into Funchal on the regular local buses for only 2 Euros, a stop right outside the apartment. We didn't use the pool but it looked clean and well maintained. Great sea views from the apartment and lovely to fall asleep to sound of the waves on the rocks. Very relaxing stay and would highly recommend this place and hope to stay again sometime in the future

Beautiful and clean apartment on the coastal road and next to a banana plantation. Many restaurants within walking distance. You do need a rental car to explore Madeira. Carlos is a perfect host.

We are glad we booked at this spot! The balcony was wonderful to have and everything was clean. What stood out the most was our very responsive host making sure we got all checked in even while her car was broken down on the side of the road! Despite the emergency, she responded to all our messages promptly and helped us check in. I was extra grateful when I woke up extremely sick from some bad fruit the night before and we were allowed a late check out until I recovered! We even left one of our passports at check out and she made sure the staff kept it safe for us. Very helpful owners, would recommend.

A fantastic stay with Emanuel for 3 weeks , my longest stay at an Air BnB and was perfect for what i was looking for. The place is exactly as described and as in the pictures. Emanuel and his mum were great with communicating and making sure all questions were answered. The location was perfect and everything was within walking distance, most day trips would pick up from outside the apartment. Would 100% stay here again when I come back and cannot recommend them enough

The apartment was very convenient near the shops and restaurants and sea front. There was everything we needed in the apartment, comfy chairs and beds. Nice linen, lots of pillows. Bedside table lamps. Charging point. Dining room table to eat at and kitchen table to prepare food with nice little stools. Lots of pans and crockery. Microwave and sandwich toaster. Coffee machine and kettle. Some tea bags and sugar and coffee, washing up liquid, shampoo and toilet rolls to start you off. Great supermarket underneath. Nice little table and chairs on the balcony and throws to wrap up in if it’s a little cool. Great to sit and people watch, traffic is a little noisy when doors are open but quiet when closed so slept well. Nice blackout curtains. Hairdryer. Washing machine and clothes airer plus pegs. Umbrellas. Just everything that we needed.

This apartment is in a great place, around the corner from the beach and at nice restaurants.

Wonderful stay close to centre of town. Extremely well equipped kitchen for home cooking / day trips + lots of restaurant recommendations.

We absolutely loved being right on the ocean! It was within feet of the house!- with the waves crashing and the patio where we ate all our meals, provided an excellent ambiance for our trip. We stayed 6 nights and were so glad we didn’t move around to other places. The promenade next to the house is very scenic and offered a one mile round trip walk along the ocean . Watching the surfers was also a plus.

We really enjoyed the accommodation! (family of 6 people) This one is well located, a beautiful view, very peaceful and private place. It is very well equipped, heated pool (for €30/day), barbecue available, very spacious and clean. Which makes it a great value. We recommend it!

Excellent stay in Camara de lobos, the accommodation is spacious, clean and very well-equipped. the location suited us perfectly both quiet and close to the lively center with the port and the very good restaurants... Supermarket open until 10pm within walking distance. The most is the parking spot in front of the listing. I would highly recommend it!

The place is really gorgeous. The terrace is the highlight, with barbecue station, outdoor shower and toilet, loungers, table and chairs. The view of the sea is priceless. In the apartment itself, there is nothing missing. Enough storage space, 2 large double beds, a great bathroom and a great kitchen with sea view. From the garage you can take the elevator directly to the penthouse, but also walk around the house. We felt super comfortable, not least because dear Eva constantly took care of us when we once had a question. She is the soul of the accommodation :-) We received many good tips from her, she is very hospitable, flexible and always responded very quickly. We had a wonderful week to celebrate flowers! Thank you Eva!

Very nice accommodation, as described. Two beautiful terraces allow you to enjoy the ocean view and magnificent sunsets. The garage is nice. I would highly recommend.

The Bauhaus-style house leaves nothing to be desired. We immediately felt very comfortable. The house is very well maintained and in mint condition. All necessary equipment is available. The house was the entire house and the terraces were very clean including the bathrooms. The pool was heated as agreed and the cover also kept the temperature very well. Fatima introduced herself to us briefly on the second day, she is very nice and we immediately had a very friendly relationship. We were even allowed to try some tomatoes from her local garden. If you want to spend a relaxing vacation with pool time and hiking, you are in good hands there. We will be back!

We had a fantastic stay in this cozy apartment right in the center of Funchal. The location couldn’t be better — just a few minutes' walk to the centre, restaurants, shops, and the beautiful waterfront. It made exploring the city super easy and convenient. The apartment was well-equipped and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The host was friendly and responsive. Despite being in the heart of the city, it was surprisingly quiet at night, and the balcony was a lovely bonus for morning coffee or evening wine. Would recommend this place to anyone looking to explore Funchal on foot and experience the local vibe!

The check-in went well. We were very pleased and can recommend the apartment. Parking was available in the courtyard, otherwise it would have been bad to find a parking space. Next to the entrance was a small shop, also ideal. We felt very comfortable.

Great apartment. Everything as described. Tip...bring some shower/bath gel or buy some locally. There was only little bottles of shampoo. This was to start you off when you arrived, but, if you feel like a shower after a long journey it would be nice to have just a couple of small bottles of gel just for the initial shower or bath. It was quite noisy when we stayed with very loud building works with an excavator loading and crashing rocks and boulders into the lorries and travelling right past the apartment loaded with all of those 🥺 This was at the front of the apartment, so although we couldn't use the balcony there: thankfully the bedroom was at the rear of the property, so a lie in was possible when the work started early in the morning. However, this may not be the case for any future guests as they may have finished the works before they arrive. Other than this problem, we had a great time on this beautiful island ( our 8th visit and our first time in self catering)

Thank you Ana the apartment was absolutely perfect for our family of 4! brilliantly spacious, beautiful sea and restaurant views from the balcony, private sunbathing balcony and an almost private pool on the rooftop. the location is perfect to walk down to the seafront or to funchal centre. with brilliant buses just across the road. A really well stocked supermarket is a few minutes walk away and a well equipped kitchen made it super easy to cook at the apartment. I really reccomend Anas apartment we would certainly come back to wlexplore more of the beautiful island. Ana was a perfect host with a wonderful welcome pack when we arrived. Thank you again!

This place was amazing! We were late about half an hour due to a flight delay and Afonso was flexible and stayed there to show the property. The property has everything we needed for a great stay and the location is perfect with a lot to due. The view from the balcony is fantastic. I wish we stayed more days. Thanks a lot
