A great stay in the Tuscan countryside, our villa was rustic and charming with views over the olive grove below and the green countryside. We loved our stay and our host was amazing and so helpful.

The place was absolutely perfect for us, a beautiful house and a house with soul. Very nice terrace (very nice with the small pool on hot days) and garden, cozy living rooms. We felt at home from the first day. The house is located in a nice old town, with a short distance to many beautiful Italian cities, and to many good restaurants, but you are completely dependent on a car. We also found great opportunities for hiking. Manuela and Massimo were very helpful and nice, gave us daily tips on things to do and places to visit, and were very flexible when we had visitors from Norway. Manuela came by with cakes and wine, and had made delicious food for us when we arrived, since all the shops were closed at Easter. We enjoyed Laterina and the house very much, and we will be happy to return.

We really enjoyed our stay, except that it was too short! We will need to return for a longer stay to really allow the peace and calm there to sink in. Special thanks to Mario and his daughter for welcoming us even though we were delayed several hours by the power outage in France’s Alpes-Maritime region, where we were arriving from. The sitting area in the garden has a spectacular view of the surrounding Tuscan hills. Next time, we will make better use of it, including for star-gazing in the clear night sky.

When you think of a quiet siitio, bonito, where to rest and with all the comforts… this place fits perfectly!! Great breakfast and all made at home! Finally, highlight their kindness and know-how… a 10!!
