Creekside Yurt - Close to State Park & Town

Romantic, Spacious, Creekside yurt with deck and parking. Close to Shops, Cafes and hiking trails. Update for Topanga and the Palisades Fire: luckily the fire did not burn Topanga and our home was not affected. Everything in the canyon is open and damage free. There are some burn scars on the mountain, but it makes for quite a view. Topanga Canyon Boulevard from Topanga Lumber Yard going down to the beach / pacific coast highway is closed. Google Maps knows its way around the road closures.

You can hear the musical rehearsals, performances, & events from the open air stage but not after 10:30pm. Located between Legoland and the Safari Park

Our yurt is a place of tranquility & fun in the round. It’s a perfect for a romantic getaway or family vacation. You have private river access located next to the Strawhouse Cafe’ across the street where you can swim, fish, relax, and/or hike nearby trails. The yurt's kitchen is outfitted with a small fridge, an air fryer, a toaster oven, an induction plate & microwave. You also have access to a charcoal BBQ. It is located on the park side, and you have private river access.

Camp Earnest King Yurt in Twain Harte

Welcome to Camp Earnest, a 21 acre former summer camp tucked into the Sierras in northern California, about 140 miles east of SF. You'll be staying in one of our brand new cozy yurts tucked into the trees and the hillside. Camp Earnest sits in a ponderosa, cedar and manzanita forest, with light snow in the winter and mild summers. We have a year round creek and hikes right off our property. Nearby are Dodge Ridge Ski Area, Pinecrest Lake, Calaveras Big Trees SP & Yosemite NP.
