Holiday rentals with a patio in California

Lisa’s place was really lovely. Everything was exactly as advertised but even better. We enjoyed the large deck and the beautiful view, the coziness of the fireplace, and the easy to use kitchen. The location is very convenient in a quiet and cute neighborhood and the house overlooks a large natural area of trees—we liked watching the birds flying by in the treetops. Can’t say enough good things about this spot, we would love to return soon!

It would be hard to find a better location in Long Beach—one that’s walking distance to the beach and the best restaurants in town. The property and neighborhood had charm. The space was as described and perhaps even more spacious than anticipated. One of the more kind and responsive owners I’ve encountered. Would rent again!

Will was a very responsive host and had great recommendations for the area. Just be aware that since this is an attached space to the next-door neighbors, the sound from upstairs is a bit prominent like footsteps/loud sound. Couple of knick knacks like the shower door and fridge door were to be fixed, but that was acknowledged to be repaired. Otherwise, I would love to stay here again.

We loved all the thought out touches put into the place— just a lovely, elegant set up. Lots of perks- snacks, coffee selection, soft robes…. Flexible in our arrival time. Lots of helpful notes around to address any questions we might have, re cooler, fans, etc…. This hostess went all out to make the experience a real step above many other places we have stayed- thank you!

The cozy casita was absolutely amazing. It was perfect for my weekend getaway. I had plans in emeryville it was very close. The details of the casita were well thought out. I felt the love that was put in. Would definitely stay again.

We had a great time at Landon & Evie’s place in Ventura! We stayed one night and hope to stay longer next time! Apartment was very nice and as described! Great location and walking distance to Main Street , restaurants , coffee , bars and beach! Place was clean, spacious and very comfortable! Apartment building was very quiet and peaceful! Landon & Evie were friendly, accommodating , welcoming and had great communication! We love Ventura and are exited to find a great place to stay when we are visiting! Hands down one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had! Kerry & Thomas’ place was absolutely beautiful, clean, comfortable, and so well decorated with a unique style and amenities. The outdoor tub/shower and patio really elevated the experience, and we got so much use out of the grill and fire pit. All of the amenities came with clear and helpful instructions and they provided great recommendations of things to do in the area. We were able to spend time in both Joshua Tree and Palm Springs since it’s conveniently located between both. Would highly recommend staying here, you won’t regret it!

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary, and you cannot beat the view. We spent a couple evenings on the patio watching the sunset on Mount Tam. It was breathtaking. The space was clean, comfortable, and pretty quiet, so if you're looking for something that feels serene and peaceful, this is it. Shanna was easy to communicate with and was extremely kind. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting to stay in Marin County. Super close to everything!

We had a wonderful stay. The home was perfect—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with just about everything we needed. The location was also incredibly convenient for exploring Joshua Tree National Park. If I had to make a couple of suggestions, a fly swatter would be helpful since there are no screens on the doors, and a flashlight might come in handy in case of a power outage (we lost power for a few hours during our stay, which may just be part of the desert experience). Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and would absolutely stay again. Thanks, Ryan!

5 Stars. A peaceful desert escape! We had a wonderful stay at Mason House. The property is beautifully designed with thoughtful details, cozy interiors, and a serene atmosphere that captures the spirit of Joshua Tree. The outdoor spaces are perfect for relaxing, day or night. Mike was a great host, clear communication and smooth check-in made everything easy. We felt right at home and truly enjoyed our time here. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing desert getaway.

Spectacular view, great scenic trails, quiet getaway, and the best host! Joseph was so responsive, very descriptive with any questions that I had, and made my trip the best ever!

Place was very clean and organized! Had many amenities we didn’t expect, like tooth kits and house shoes, make up removal kits, etc. Very close to town. Matt and his wife were very responsive and engaged. Grill worked great, and they had plenty of spices to cook with, Netflix, and hot tub was clean. Plenty of clean towels and comfortable bed. Main TV is a harder to see when it’s daylight and the French doors to the patio are tricky to lock/unlock, but overall it was a 5 star experience. Would recommend for sure!!

The place is amazing, very peaceful and quite. The ambiance is exactly like described, the hosts are very responsive and helpful. It truly is a blissful escape. Highly recommend

Had a lovely stay at the property in early summer so enjoyed the outdoor spaces more in the evening. We read several reviews that mentioned the outdoor dome not being as it looks in the pictures, but that’s not true. We laid under the stars every night and were able to see them clearly. The pictures made it look very secluded, but there is an RV group about a block away that ran a generator all night and a handful of the nights had stadium lights going which made it hard to fully enjoy the night sky. This isn’t anything to do with the hosts or the property, just the neighbors not being super considerate.

Nicest air bnb we have stayed in when it comes to the antelope valley! We highly recommend this place if you need somewhere to stay with a great view and plenty of privacy. Garri was very helpful as well.

Blake is great host. Easy to communicate and quick response. House is clean and has balcony with beautiful view. And having golf cart he let us use was really helpful, we used for going to town and going around the island scenic route.

Dalma’s place was wonderful for our family. It was private and had a fenced in shared backyard space, which was great for our little kids. She had wonderful extras such as the beach items, coffee options for the morning, kids toys and books, and plenty of blankets if needed when it cooled off at night. Beach and restaurants were close within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again!

Very nice place and loved how quiet it was. There is beautiful views of the mountains which is very relaxing. This condo is very clean and very nicely decorated and the walk to the village for dining and shopping is very close. We personally really liked staying here over a place that is right in the village because this was much quieter and you could get a good night sleep without any noise which we have never got from any of the places that we have rented in the village and like I said the walk is very short to get to the village. Yes there is a lot of stairs one of the ways to the village as one person commented but you can also walk out the lobby and walk down not even half a block to get there with no stairs if stairs are difficult for you.

We really enjoyed staying here! The waterfalls and garden area that the balcony overlooks were a beautiful surprise. The complex was quiet and Jeffrey checked in each night we stayed to ensure everything was meeting our expectations!

Peter was the best host! Not only were the check in instructions great with photo examples to aid a smooth process but he was willing to work with me on checkout time. I came for work and left my belongings at the apartment thinking I would be back in time before checkout and Peter was not only helpful but very understanding. Being able to check in very late after a long flight with front desk security made it really easy and comfortable. It was so quiet! Which is surprising for the area. The space was more spacious and beautiful in person. Can’t wait to book this for visiting friends

The beach was literally within steps! We were looking forward to having a relaxing trip - which we did. I loved that beach chairs and coolers were provided had we needed them. Assigned parking made me feel safe.
