Zeza is a very friendly host; she welcomed us and explained all the nuances and details. the apartment was spotlessly clean and cozy, equipped with everything we needed, and offered a stunning view of the ocean and mountains. one of my best experiences on airbnb. Everything was great! The facilities leave nothing to be desired and we felt right at home. The welcome by Davis's mother was warm and the fruits provided from their own garden especially liked our son, who wanted a banana right away. The terrace was perfect, the child was able to play well there. The location was great for us. Supermarkets nearby, the beach is within walking distance, albeit very steep paths. By car, however, you are super fast everywhere. We can fully recommend the place, also for families with children. Everything is thought of. Thank You!

Daniel’s apartment was the perfect place for our trip to Madeira. It is located very central right next to all the main areas and within 100m of the beach and the main dining area. The apartment was very well maintained. Everything was in pristine condition. Air conditioning worked perfectly and even the kitchen was super useful. He also put a Marshall speaker inside which was super useful and a private terrace. Daniel also prepared a file full of local recommendations for restaurants and an itinerary and also clear instructions. Would recommend!

Beautiful patio overlooking the ocean with sunshine in the morning and the afternoon. Convenient place to stay if you have rented a car! Would definitely recommend!

Casa Boho is the perfect spot for a comfortable and relaxed holiday. Right from the start you’ll feel the holiday vibes, due to the beach decoration that can be found throughout the entire apartment! The communication with Christine is perfect. She’s proactive with information about location, directions, and information about restaurants and activities. The apartment itself is spacious, has a sunny rooftop terrace including a hammock, and it is equipped with everything you need (small kitchen for easy meals, beach towels, board games, (shopping) bags, and more. So look no further if you want be ensured of a relaxed holiday!

The apartment in Calheta was dreamy! We did not want to leave. The location has an excellent view, reserved parking, and was well equipped for cooking and preparing picnics.

There were 4 of us, the accommodation is spacious and very well-equipped, the pool was a plus and very appreciated in the evening where after hikes, the environment and the view are just amazing. It's quiet. Communication with the host was quick and easy. We recommend +++

This is a beautiful place! The pictures did not do it justice. It was open and spacious, we felt relaxed the minute we stepped in! We traveled with our 3 adult children and we had plenty of space. There were a lot of extra touches-fresh flowers, a cooler to use, swim towels, complimentary cake and wine, and blankets for use out on the patio. The parking was convenient as we rented a car for travel on the island. We took the path to town and wish we would have done this earlier to enjoy the beach. The view was mesmerizing and we even saw some dolphins! dolphins! We woredolphinsdolphins

We stayed here for 9 nights as a couple and were absolutely thrilled. Communication was excellent, even before the booking – friendly, smooth, and very helpful, which gave us a great feeling right from the start. The apartment was spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished with high-quality amenities – nothing was missing. A real highlight were the balconies and the stunning rooftop terrace – perfect for relaxing! We were also able to use the parking space after arranging it in advance, which was very convenient. Grocery stores and great restaurants are within walking distance – the location is ideal. We felt completely at home and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Duarte was super kind and responsive. He got us parking and met us late at night when we arrived, and he gave us plenty of local recommendations. Ribiera Brava was a great place to stay, close enough to the city of Funchal and other activities but it’s its own little town with a black sand beach and walkable restaurants.

The many helpful tips from Host Manuel and the personal support were simply great. We were very comfortable. The environment was super well maintained, easy to enjoy.

Starting with the view from the window to the Atlantic, to the tranquility that we could find in the apartment - far away from tourism, to the stroll, down many steps, on the promenade, we felt very comfortable in Porto Moniz. Whether coffee or snack bar and restaurant, you could eat well everywhere. Many excursion possibilities and especially hikes are easily accessible. We have found our favorite places, whether culinary or in nature. We would book our apartment again immediately.

What a magnificant stay! The appartment is perfect! Two terraces so you can enjoy the sun any time of the day you want. Quiet with great ocean view! The kitchen is very well equiped, we cooked our own meal every day and it had everything we needed, even a small dishwasher. Lots of things to do just a short drive away. We slept great in the comfortable bedroom. Airco is also available if necessary. We would definitely want to stay here again. Highly recommended!

A perfect place to stay! Cristina went above and beyond leaving all matter of surprises for us on our arrival which was a really special touch. The flat is well equipped and we weren’t left wanting for anything more. Everything from pool towels to a yoga mat and beach bag! The place is lovely, spacious and clean, gorgeous views, easy to find and a short walk into the old town (just under 10 mins, new town maybe 15 mins although the pull uphill on the way back might take you longer - you won’t find anywhere on the flat in Funchal though). Free on street parking just next to the flat, there was always a spot free which was great although the roads are steep and pretty tight around the house - this is normal in the town though. Although there were people staying above we hardly saw them, had the pool area to ourselves and didn’t lack privacy. We would certainly stay again and I’ll be recommending Cristina’s flat to anyone I know heading to Funchal.

We are glad we booked at this spot! The balcony was wonderful to have and everything was clean. What stood out the most was our very responsive host making sure we got all checked in even while her car was broken down on the side of the road! Despite the emergency, she responded to all our messages promptly and helped us check in. I was extra grateful when I woke up extremely sick from some bad fruit the night before and we were allowed a late check out until I recovered! We even left one of our passports at check out and she made sure the staff kept it safe for us. Very helpful owners, would recommend.

Betty is the top host! She welcomed us with open arms. Very fast to respond, friendly and helpful! We were able to check out in the afternoon and enjoyed our last lunch at home before leaving for the airport. The view of the mountains is breathtaking at day and night time. The apartment is absolutely huge. It was our 3rd visit to Madeira with our elderly mum. She got beautiful bedroom with en suite bathroom and walk in shower. Betty also got an armchair for mum so she could relax on the balcony. We had such a comfortable and great stay! highly recommended!

It was a very nice apartment with a lovely terass and outside kitchen facilities. We were out and about during these days and didn't get to use the BBQ or the jacuzzi, and would recommend to stay here longer than two nights to make use of it all. To be clear, it is part of a family house but you barley notice them living next doors. An easy parking spot is included as well.

This was a beautiful Airbnb with a great patio. Tons of wonderful restaurants were in walking distance. Paulo was a very friendly host and even delivered fresh bread every morning!

Cristina was a wonderful host, always available with helpful tips and recommendations. The apartment was very clean and tidy, furnished, arranged and equipped in the best of taste. Stunning view, very quiet, even if very near to the expressway, and because of that perfect located to get everywhere easy and quick. Restaurants of all kind available within short driving time. Overall - very advisable!

If I could, I would give to this accomodation and Patricia way more stars :) The flat is perfect. Great location, ocean view, everything was clean, nice and neat. Also those little, but big, details - dimmable light, extra fluffy blanket (not going to spoil more:) Watching stars while in jacuzzi.. Just awesome :) And Patricia is amazing host. Always quick answer, helpful, proactive, friendly. We enjoyed our stay very much and I will definitely book this place again, if we ever come back :)
