The property is home to animals and wild life including alpacas, llamas, miniature donkeys, miniature sheep and of course, spotted sheep! It’s perfect for a getaway, relaxing, enjoying some of Texas' best wineries, Fredericksburg shopping and the quiet evening in the hot tub.

Chertecho Tree Tower

Designed to connect with the natural systems of a special place, Chertecho sits among the trees on a 5-acre rocky slope overlooking the Pedernales River Valley. An outdoor stair system connects the three levels - a covered rooftop deck; a second-floor master suite; and a ground floor kitchen space. Glass walls open to the wooded slopes of Big Hill, a ridge separating the Pedernales and Guadalupe watersheds halfway between Comfort and Fredericksburg. A place to unplug, and reconnect.

We are required to collect and pay an additional Local Occupancy Tax of 7% for this reservation through the resolution Center. At Vintner's Vault you'll be welcomed with bottled water and appetizers after your day of travelling. Relax on the patio or water front gazebo. Wake up refreshed in the morning and grab some breakfast and Keurig coffee before you head out and explore the Hill Country. We take extreme care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations.

Leaf Treehouse at The Meadow

The Leaf Treehouse (~300sqft) is perched among sturdy live oaks on our slice of Texas heaven just ten minutes from Main Street Fredericksburg. Its cozy and stylish interior includes a king bed with organic cotton sheets, a thoughtfully stocked kitchenette, a full bathroom with a rain shower, a padded reading nook with a round window, and an outdoor bathtub on the upper deck. A cozy, convenient and peaceful spot on a working farm. This is a small apartment above separate garage with private entrance. Perfectly situated 5 minutes to Comfort, 25 to Kerrville, 25 to Fredericksburg & 20 to Boerne: Great for taking advantage of all the dining, shopping and attractions in the hill country. Also an especially good location for biciclists & motorcyclists. One small house-trained dog that remains leashed while outdoors is welcome.
