We loved every moment of our stay at Bob and Kath’s beautiful home! It’s a peaceful, quiet retreat with lovely surroundings and scenic trails that lead right down to the backwaters. Bob and Kath are warm, engaging hosts who made us feel truly welcome—wonderful to talk to and always happy to share local tips. Easily the best place to stay near Ludlow if you’re looking for comfort, nature, and genuine hospitality!

Eliza was an extremely welcoming hostess with the mostest! She gave us great instructions, and checkin was super easy. Her place is very attractive - modern, high ceilings, clean, and cozy. She quickly answered our various random questions and helped with streaming service very fast! Only surprise was her delightful - and delicious- welcome loaf of tasty banana bread. (She even checked about food allergies!) What a great type of surprise! We enjoyed our stay, thank you, Eliza!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property! The location is peaceful, with stunning views of the water that are even more breathtaking in person than in the photos. The cottage itself is beautifully maintained and exudes tranquility, making it the perfect getaway. The four small, unobtrusive space heaters did a great job warming up the place in the evenings and early mornings. We didn’t use the fireplace in the living area but it looked very romantic and cozy. We loved watching movies on the very large TV at night. Our host, Bradley, was incredibly kind and responsive throughout our stay, answering all our questions promptly and ensuring we had everything we needed. Overall, a fantastic experience, and we would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat in a beautiful setting!
