Gorgeous location and comfortable home. The drive to get there is a challenge, but it is well worth it. Thanks to the wonderful caretaker.

If all you want to do is drink fantastic home grown and processed arabica coffee whilst looking at one of the worlds best views then this is one of the worlds best destinations. If you also want to drive round the beautiful Vumba mountains, visit the iconic Tony's coffee cake 'experience', let your children play in the outdoors then this is also excellent. Value for money with beautiful, helpful, generous hosts. I could live here.

This place is delightfully serene, an ideal escape from the everyday. We enjoyed our breakfast on the balcony, surrounded by the soothing sounds of birdsong and a nearby stream. The loft strikes a perfect balance between modern comfort and cozy charm. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, even sharing some unique fruits we had never tried before, a thoughtful touch that made our stay even more memorable. We’d return in a heartbeat, and honestly, again and again!

Sebastian and Rita were very hospitable and their staff really helped us have a great stay in Vumba Mountains. The location is arguably one of the most beautiful places you could visit in Zimbabwe and has breathtaking views similar to Victoria Falls. We would 100% visit again. The location is close to Mutare so it’s easy to do any shopping. There were some nice places to visit around the location including some beautiful waterfalls, although if you choose to visit the waterfalls make sure to take a sturdy vehicle like a 4x4 otherwise it may be difficult to reach the waterfalls. The road from Mutare is in pretty good condition, but when you get near the property we would suggest having a very sturdy vehicle to navigate the road to the property - so a vehicle as sturdy as a 4x4 is pretty much necessary. The nearby land is also used for coffee farming so when you visit you’ll learn some interesting facts about that too. Overall - brilliant location, hosts and 10/10 stay.
