The place was beautiful. Absolutely matched the pictures. A great place to stay with a larger group. Overall we were very happy but there were a few issues that I’m going to explain below. When we arrived there was trash (stinky) still in the kitchen, some the outlets did not work on second floor ( in bathroom for hair dryer) and the outdoor fire pit table on the balcony didn’t work. I messaged the hosts about these and they were responsive but kept asking me questions to try and get ME to troubleshoot or fix. I was on a short vacation and so my expectation was they would just send someone to address these issues. I just stopped writing back because it was distracting me from enjoying time with my family. Given the cost of this rental my expectation is there should be more due diligence to make sure amenities and house things are all set. I would still recommend staying there- it was actually one of the nicest Airbnbs I’ve stayed in even despite the issues.

The property had everything we needed for a relaxing and fun escape — from the cozy cedar hot tub and stargazing net to the game garage, Blackstone grill, and fire pit, every detail was thoughtfully set up for a great time. Atomic was incredibly responsive and accommodating throughout our stay, which made everything even more enjoyable. We’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat, and we’re already hoping to come back soon!

Karen’s place is gorgeous and was the perfect location for easy access to Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, Manitou Incline and all the wonderful restaurants of Colorado Springs! The house was so comfortable for our family of 5 and we loved the stunning views of the mountains and Pikes Peak it offered. The deck was perfect for morning coffee and evenings around the gas firepit. Karen is an outstanding host with incredibly quick and friendly response time. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Karen’s place!
