Holiday rentals with lake access in Bristol

Gio was a delight to stay with. He gave clear instructions for check in and house rule while maintaining a relaxed environment. He additionally provided me with valuable advice for getting around the city and things to do. The location is not central, but the nearby m2 bus takes you everywhere you need. Would highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful home in a quiet location, a few minutes walk from the sea front. Description given is fully accurate. Everything you could need is provided, furnishings/beds are clean and comfortable, decor is beautiful, showers have good pressure and plenty of hot water available. The garden is a lovely little sun trap where you can drink your morning coffee. Such a nice touch to arrive to a gift basket of goodies for our family of 7 and a golden retriever to enjoy! Pearl was quick and responsive to messages and requests. Should we return to Clevedon, we would definitely stay here.

This place was awesome! Beautiful home with a lovely terraced garden. Lots of steps involved, so it is a bit more difficult with any heavier luggage or if there are any mobility challenges. If you have a car, I would recommend leaving it at the Airbnb and taking public transit into town as it seems much safer and parking in Bath is rather difficult. Nigel was a great host and very responsive. Overall 9.8/10 stars from me, couldn’t have worked out much better!

We stayed with Daisy's beautiful home for a week and where lucky to have fantastic sunshine every day. The house is a great size and fantastic with kids with its secure garden including swings and slides. Daisy was very responsive on the lead up to and during out stay and recommended a number of local attractions. We loved the local pub Ring o Bells which is about a 30 minute walk uphill through quiet lanes which served fantastic food. The location was perfect for us being near to Cheddar, Bath and Wells with a large number of activities for both Adults and the Kids We hope to be back to stay soon!

We had a fantastic stay at Mandy’s place. The house was lovely with incredible views and so many beautiful places for walks and food nearby. The beds were extremely comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.

I found Bonnie's place to be just what I needed. I had a good night's sleep in this comfortable, easy to find and reasonably priced accommodation. Bonnie was very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend.

This is a fantastic house in a lovely location, with easy access to the Mendip Hills, Cheddar, and the surrounding area. Despite being regular visitors to the area, this was the first time we'd stayed in Blagdon - a gorgeous little village with wonderful scenic views. The house was immaculate when we arrived, and check-in was extremely straightforward. Jo prepared a booklet with information on the house and surrounding area which was very useful during our stay. Jo's communication was excellent both leading up to and during our stay - she was always quick to answer queries, and provided lots of useful additional information. Thanks!

Lovely, peaceful annexe in a charming village—clean, comfortable, and perfectly located between Bath and Bristol. Great value and a welcoming host. Highly recommend!

The apartment was even better in reality than in the photos - lovely decor and comfortable beds/sofas. As we had lovely weather for our weekend stay , we sat outside on the rooftop terrace relaxing at every opportunity, listening to birdsong and lake-watching the wildlife. We hadn’t appreciated the amount of activities on offer at Lower Mill Estate but used the outdoor heated pool, recliners and sauna before we checked in - it really started our weekend in relaxing mood. We went to Ballihoo restaurant during our visit and this was a great family restaurant, very casual with good food - a few minutes walk from the accommodation. We did some Cotswolds sightseeing on the Saturday and it was lovely to know our penthouse and sundeck was waiting when we returned in the afternoon. Jane recommended a local restaurant for the Saturday evening and we weren’t disappointed- the food was absolutely delicious and it made the weekend perfect. Jane & Nico - thank you for everything:-)

A perfect short-stay getaway with dreamy views across the water. The lounge and bedroom overlook the sea making it the perfect place to wake with coffee and watch the sunrise. The flat is well equipped. We cooked amazing local produce from the excellent butcher and greengrocer during our stay. The shower was a great way to relax after a long day exploring Penarth and the surrounding area. It's about a 10 - 15 minute walk into the town centre through a beautiful and peaceful park and Cardiff is a short train, bus or taxi ride away! Initially we were concerned that the flat might smell of fish and chips because of the takeaway below, but it doesn't. We can heartily recommend them - especially if you have food allergies and they also cater for vegans. Similarly the ice cream parlour on the pier were able to cater for celiacs and vegans. The customer service team were highly responsive. We would love to stay again if we attend events in the local area. BeachCliff is amazing

A cosy, clean and comfortable place to stay. Powerful shower. Nice dining area. Very friendly host and good food from the chip shop. Nice little high street and pretty walk around the lake.

Amazing stay, so peaceful and lovely. Location is great, secluded but close enough to drive to takeaway spots or Tesco. Not too far from the Brecon Beacons where we travelled to for the four falls trail. Would visit again, thank you :)

We had a lovely stay at Aston Cottage over the May bank holiday weekend. We were a family of 6 adults and 2 children. The older adults did plenty of walking around the Estate, and the children had a great time in the play areas, soft play and the swimming pool! Two of the adults brought their own bikes and made good use of these too. Alex and Emma were excellent hosts, and were very responsive to any queries we had, both before we arrived and after. There was a small hiccup with the hot water, but this was soon sorted, once I raised. The early check in was very welcome, and so by the time our supermarket shop arrived, we were all set to start the weekend. The house and bathrooms were well equipped with condiments and bathroom 'stuff'. The Pizza shack was a great find! The only negative comments were that it was difficult to warm up the cottage, and the cleaners could pay more attention to detail, ie oven needs cleaning and there were many cobwebs! Thank you both!

We had a wonderful stay at the lakeside barn. The view from the barn is truly beautiful. We came with our 8 month old baby and it was a great space for her to roam around (We brought our own travel cot which the bedroom had plenty of room for). Anna was so friendly and kind. She communicated well throughout our stay. We would definitely recommend. Thank you!

Fairhazel was a lovely cottage. Spotlessly clean with many thoughtful touches and lots of goodies. Lower Mill Estate is a lovely place to stay with lots to do - paddle boarding, swimming, walking, tennis and cycling. We would definitely recommend and will return. Thank you Jason

Helen and Paul’s place is the most beautiful and thoughtfully curated Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. This home truly goes above and beyond, every room is filled with beautiful, thoughtful touches that made our stay feel so special. From homemade sourdough bread waiting for us, to individual toiletries and everything you could possibly need already provided, it was clear how much care and love has gone into creating this space. The garden was absolutely stunning, with cozy, comfortable furniture perfect for relaxing. And the hot tub under the stars! Just magical. The entire stay felt like a peaceful retreat, and we left feeling completely recharged. Helen and Paul were the perfect hosts — incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We can’t recommend this place highly enough.

The cottage was a great place to stay in a beautiful rural location. Katy was very helpful and responsive. I would recommend staying here to anyone looking to explore the Abergavenny/Monmouthshire area or looking to explore the Brecon Beacons.

Brilliant host, sent over lots of useful information for things to do and was very quick to respond to any questions and provided very good information of things that were going on.

Lovely, comfortable stay in Long Sutton. Well appointed cottage in a lovely cottage. Catered us well for 3 adults and 2 children visiting family in the area. Morag was great at communicating and was brilliant at accommodating small children. Cottage was well set up for them. Very responsive as well and the welcome pack of goodies was perfect. What a fabulous few days away! We loved every minute staying here. We were so welcomed and nothing was too much trouble. The local recommendations were so helpful rather than endless browsing. The house was so beautiful and well kept, lots of space and we wanted for nothing in terms of kitchen items and utensils etc. The surrounding is so so peaceful, and you feel like you are the only people in the world!
