Holiday rentals with breakfast in Bristol

Gio was a delight to stay with. He gave clear instructions for check in and house rule while maintaining a relaxed environment. He additionally provided me with valuable advice for getting around the city and things to do. The location is not central, but the nearby m2 bus takes you everywhere you need. Would highly recommend staying here!

I was a bit hectic on my check in day so unfortunately didn’t get to meet Jeremy as he was going away over Easter. However the check in was extremely easy, he text me all the information. The home was cosy and warm, everything was clean. This might sound weird but the bedding was soooo crisp and fresh, it smelt amazing and I honestly slept so well. I’d open the bedroom window in the morning and lye in listening to the birds chirping in the garden. Very quiet and green area, I got the bus a couple times otherwise would just get an uber which was about £11 into city centre. Will certainly visit again when I’m next in Bristol. Thanks for everything!

This is a fabulous place to stay within close proximity to the village of Westbury-on-Trym. The host is quick to respond and we were greated by a smile and a home made victoria sponge. The gardens are amazing and so peaceful especially the area with the stream running through complete with ducks. This is the perfect place to stay to explore Bristol city and easy walking access to the village. This is would suit a small family like ours or a cosy couple retreat, to unwind in tranquil surroundinga after a busy day.

Kay was a great host. She was very helpful and responsive, and the accommodation was excellent. We stayed in a twin room, which was a good size and perfect for us. The bathroom was well appointed with a very good shower. Kay provides a great breakfast, with plenty of options to suit all tastes. The location is perfect for anyone wanting to stay a little outside of Bristol, but easily close enough to travel in and out (bus stop opposite the house). We would definitely stay again should we visit Bristol, and highly recommend it as a perfect place to stay.

Jerry and Jacqui are an amazing, warm couple with an extensive knowledge of the area. They demonstrated the most gentle, caring attention towards us throughout the stay, served us carefully crafted breakfast in the morning and recommended us some wonderful eateries to try and things to do. Their house being within walking distance of everything that Bristol has to offer, it is truly the perfect location for any stay in Bristol. We will be back, and not just for Bristol! 😉

Martha and Mervyn are impeccable and lovely, friendly hosts! I had stayed before and they made me feel right at home! I couldn't recommend staying here more and I will be back!

Kate was not there during our stay and so she let us her room which had a door on the garden and its own bathroom. The room was super comfy whereas the bed was a little double bed and that there were no shutters or heavy curtains. But to wake up with the sun is good for the health ☀️ The kitchen and the garden are amazing, the location is super calm even if in 4 min walk you're in the main street of Stokes Croft with all the great bars and restaurants (and 20 min from the city center). I recommend 150% this place and host.

Nice to see Sue again and stay in her - as described - quiet, peaceful room overlooking the garden. Comfortable bed and great shower. Sitting out on Sue’s terrace in the morning sun was a real treat. The location is perfect for Southmead Hospital and also has good bus connections into and around the city.

A great little flat right on the vibey and exciting Gloucester Road in Bristol. The off-street parking was absolute winner and we could back our car right into the driveway for easy access and let our small children and dog out of the car and into the flat in no time at all. Mark answered all my questions promtply and very kindly arranged the travel cot for my 18 month old son. The only small challenge was checking in on the day - we waited outside the flat for several minutes trying to access the flat and get not hold of the host to get the information we needed to get into the flat. With two small children and an excitable dog, I would have appreciated more prompt instructions on how to access the flat. Yet, the delay did not diminish our enjoyment of the space nor our enjoyment of exploring the city.

This place is amazing! Close proximity to pretty much everything. It’s in the heart of the city so everything is walking distance.... To parks , shops, etc. Giu is a great host and is prompt in attending to all your needs. Would highly recommend this flat and definitely will stay again in the future. 👍👍👍

An extremely pleasant stay! We enjoyed many cups of tea together, walked into town following a suggested route of theirs and sat in serenity in their beautiful back garden. Petra provides a homely stay in a peaceful location. I highly recommend it!

Lovely cottage, exactly as described with cats and quirks, cute and old with lots of character. Cats were lovely, even the slightly grumpy one, breakfast was well above expectations. Delicious! Comfy bed too. Great place, sad we only stayed one night really!

Lyn and John were fantastic hosts - being generous with lively conversation but also providing options for privacy as desired. I paid a reduced rate due to some regulars being out of town, but they are already providing an excellent value classic bed and breakfast service with homestay personal touches. Lyn offers a full cooked breakfast and cereals to all guests, but was happy to make adjustments to tastes and needs. John also makes a tasty coffee from the espresso machine. I would be glad to return if I am able to find a moment when they are not fully booked!

The 3 weeks that I spent at Nina’s with Betsy, Minou and Suki as roommates were my most cherished weeks of 2025! Nina’s place is spotless, pretty, cosy, just everything to make you feel right at home. She’s a wonderful host, who became a friend. The city is the just spectacular and truly heals! My heart is heavy leaving this beautiful place, and my darling Betsy. Until next time!

Excellent value for money. A bit more of a traditional English B and B/small hotel experience than an AirBnB, but does what it says on the tin and is very well situated. Breakfast was lovely and had a number of varied options. Friendly accommodating staff. Again, for the price, difficult to imagine better!

I stayed at Lorraine's last year when I was on an early flight out of Bristol. Which is why I chose it again this year. Really nice location, there is a great pub in the nearby village only 10mins walk away. Her husband was very accommodating in getting me to the airport, for a small extra charge which I was more than happy with. First on my list when I have an early flight again!

Great if you’re traveling and want a better deal and better amenities than a hostel! The croissants each morning really were a blessing after drinking a little too much the night before!
