Cottage holiday rentals in Bristol

I would just like to say how lovely this place is and how lovely the people are. We have two reactive collies and they were calm and happy here. The host put a lot in for us to feel comfortable so the dogs didnt get out or react to her dog. Overall what a lovely experience and a cottage that i wish i could own myself. Gorgeous walk and only 30 mins from the beach. i will be returning here again.

We enjoyed our Short (2-Night) stay a lot. Poppy responded Short Term on Any queries we had. Hot tub outside and stove in the living&dining room were exceptional Features you rarely find at places in this Price categorie. Water quality and temperature in the Hot tub were Perfect. Like other guests commented prior, the Noise of the Main Road isnt really a downside, at least not later in the evening. Though it is noisy inside if you Open any window to the road side and entering and exiting the parking area at the House from the Main Road needs some willpower at the beginning. The Region, the Host and the Location definitely deserve a longer stay. Christian, Claudia, Caius & Roswitha say: Thank You!

Cute property, clean, no direct access to the hot tub area but it is just across the driveway and is very secluded so wasn't a problem. Downstairs rooms slightly damp feel but then again it is a very old building so didn't bother us much. Very well connected to Bath and Bristol.

I can't recommend Garden Cottage enough. It is absolutely beautiful and was exactly what my daughter (who was revising for GCSE's) and I needed. First of all, there is plenty of space, with a good size bedroom upstairs and equally sized twin down stairs. The lounge is also very spacious but our favourite was outside. We ate most of our meals at the table outdoors, looking out over pastures green (!) and between revision sessions took regular dips in the outdoor hot tub which was so relaxing. There are supermarkets nearby and we also ventured into Bath which is only 20 minutes away. You will pay more for this private cottage but in my opinion it is well worth it and we will certainly stay there again. Thankyou Aisha.

stayed with my girlfriend for our 5 year anniversary and it was an idyllic stay! really clean, peaceful location, so much information about the local area and things to do provided by the host. even though the weather wasnt great the hot tub and the cozy fire place made it great for all weather. The garden was absolutely beautiful ! will absolutely be returning :)

Instructions and communication through the app with Sophie were clear, concise and easy to follow. The cottage description was perfect. It was clean, not spotless as there were some cobwebs in some corners, however it is the countryside and spiders need somewhere to hangout 🤣. The beds were really comfortable and the hot tub was the icing on the cake after a long hard day shopping or climbing the Tor. We can't wait to come back again if Sophie will let us 🤞🏼.

Our group had a fantastic time at this venue over the weekend. It is a beautiful property with a scenic surrounding and spectacular views. The property had all the necessary amenities and the included pool house was an incredible experience ! As well as providing a comfortable home over the weekend, it's close proximity to Bristol provided a base for an evening out with Ubers or a regular local bus. Piers and the team were very responsive hosts when we had questions, providing prompt and helpful responses. Would highly recommend and already missing the views from the venue!

The photos don’t do the lovely place justice. I was worried it wasn’t going be big enough for us, due to the fact I was using it as place to have us together to get ready for the morning of my wedding. The cottage was spacious, beautiful, cosy and was perfect for us all! There was ample of parking which was perfect. I would highly recommend and would stay again if another occasion. Both Angela and her daughter were great at responding to anything we required. They also accepting of any mess we left due to leaving late - bride always arrives fashionably late!

We booked the Air b'n'b as we were going to a family wedding locally over the weekend. It was the perfect home away from home to unwind and relax during a busy weekend. Definitely would recommend. Plenty of parking available on street if needed which was very handy!

Annelie’s place is absolutely wonderful. I felt right at home. The location is perfect as there are many things to do in the area (max 30 min drives). The place was spotless. Annelie was very communicative and shared lots of info beforehand and gave me tips before my holiday. The pub across the road is great. It offers breakfast, lunch and dinner should you wish. The pub car park is also where you park. This is probably leads to the only minor downside. The property hasn’t got it’s own parking and borders on a main road (traffic can be heard from the inside) and you have to cross the road to get to the parking. The cottage has got a closed off front garden so it would be very safe for children or dogs to stay.

Beautiful stay in a quiet village, couldn’t have asked for more. Met both David and Hilary as we were checking in and they were very helpful. Would definitely come back!

A charming little cottage that squeezes in 3 bedrooms. Great place to rest after a busy day out and about. The place is super personal and full of character. Very clean, with everything you need for a short stay, including a little outdoor patio.

We really enjoyed our stay at Fleur & James' beautiful, comfortable house. Really appreciated all the little touches that they provided. A really lovely relaxing short break and we hope to return.

The Coach House is a lovely holiday home, which includes use of a beautifully maintained and peaceful garden. Liz is an exceptional host who has put a huge amount of thought into every aspect of the accommodation. She also provided some lovely touches such as fresh eggs from her chickens and home baked cakes. There is also a very detailed information pack containing suggestions of things to do in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Coach House.

We had a great stay at Annie and Simon’s place. It’s spacious, squeaky clean and has every amenity you could ever need. The area is very peaceful and well located to access the best of the Cotswolds. Would 10/10 recommend!!

A really lovely place, great location for both Bristol and Bath

Vauxhall cottage was a lovely place to stay for a week with the family. Plenty of space, beautiful views, very much as described. Warning to those driving, the streets are quite narrow near it so driving took some getting used to, and Chepstow is fairly hilly, but obviously that's simply a feature of the area and nothing to do with Vauxhall directly. Several good restaurants within a half mile walk of the cottage, as well as the delightful Chepstow Castle which is great for kids and adults to explore.

We felt right at home. Finding the accommodation was very clear and the check in instructions provided were also straightforward, this made the arrival very smooth. The cottage itself is very cozy, we felt at home, it had all the amenities we needed that were listed. There was a very welcoming vibe and atmosphere, the design was also very calming. It was a very clean listing, almost immaculate. In the evening as well as the morning, you are able to sleep in because it is in a very quiet neighborhood. The listing is a short drive from Bristol city center (if you are coming by car or ride app), there are a few nice restaurants within walking distance (15-20 minutes). James is a wonderful host and puts a lot of effort at this place to make it welcoming. I would definitely recommend it and if we are ever in Bristol again, we will stay at this place.
