Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Brevard

Absolutely loved our stay here. I'll say our Kia K5 didnt make it up the driveway but it was a nice walk up, use caution if your feeble. The house is so beautifully decorated when you walk threw the door, the live plants made it feel like home as soon as they were spotted. The kitchen was so cute and had everything we needed to cook, the living room was so cozy with the cutest plaid touches to make it pop. The video projector was amazing, we were trying to unplug but took advantage of movies on the couch. The clawfoot tub was one of my favorite things, after hiking it was nice to relax alone. The hot tub outside was so nice, imagine being surrounded by dark folliage for privacy while relaxing, it was also directly beside the sauna. Both surrounded by dense trees for privacy. It was amazing! Hailey was absolutely amazing, before arriving she reached out to let us know if we needed anything she was a few minutes away. During our stay she reached out to make sure things were still great.

Our family felt right at home at Michael's A-frame. My husband commented that it felt as though we had stayed there before, and it really had. It has every amenity and creature comfort you could want or need, including a nicely stocked spice cabinet, plenty of linens, board games and puzzles, and a place to do laundry. Michael was friendly and helpful. Our family had an awesome time, and we hope to be back to enjoy the property in the summer months!

This was one of the best airbnbs we stayed at in Brevard - our son plays baseball at Brevard College and we have been traveling to Brevard for 4 years - the home was very clean - Marisa was great - we could not figure out how to adjust the ceiling fans so her husband came by to take a look and he went out and got new batteries which we were fine doing but he wanted to - very impressed! Very nice and easy to communicate with. The house is adorable.

We had a great stay at Carly's place. We enjoyed the proximity to hikes in the Pisgah particularly along the Davison River area. Living room seating was good and there were nice views across the valley. We had a Whip-poor-will serenade us several nights. Sound does carry up the valley so when on the porch road noise was noticeable. The bed (we used the Master bedroom) was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and even a sharp knife! If you plan on cooking some of your own meals, wait to go grocery shopping until after you check in as Carly has thoughtfully provided an Ingles card so you can save some $$. We ate at The Square Root one night and the food was wonderful.

We loved our stay at Villa Nirvana. It felt homey and comfortable, while also offering such a cool stylish retro charm. We loved having both a screened porch and uncovered porch with sitting and dining options for both. The remote-controlled fireplace was so nice to have, both for ambiance and an effective warmup all through the house. Even the bathroom was awesome — super clean, lots of storage with a very effective heater, good water pressure and a super helpful fold down bench. Oh yeah, and a huge washer and dryer came in handy as well! We stayed over a week and it was just so wonderful to have a place that really felt like a home (albeit one we aren’t likely to ever afford haha). Thanks again Barbara! Barbara was a wonderful host - a great combination of laid back and attentive.

I very rarely give 5 stars for a property, as most hosts these days have no attention to detail. Lisa's place is the exception! The house was clean, and the kitchen was well-stocked. The deck, firepit (with firewood), and bike storage are great features. This house would be ideal for a family of four or five, but it would probably be tight for two families given that the bedrooms are small.

Matthew’s property was just right for us. The yard is huge and was awesome for our dog and 2-year-old. Toddlers need to be supervised, of course, due to the fire pit and some big steps, but he loved exploring and the yard was clean. It was peaceful to sit back there and enjoy the privacy. The hot tub was so clean and it was nice to relax and look at some stars. The neighborhood is very quiet and we loved that there are multiple business within easy walking distance (don’t need to go downtown) including coffee, breakfast, and ice cream! It’s only 3-4 minutes by car to get to downtown. House is well kept up but not fancy, which I prefer honestly- I felt comfortable there and wasn’t worried that my kiddo would mess anything up. We used the king bed and slept well. Curtains plus blinds helped keep the rooms darker, but we needed one additional layer to be dark enough for our toddler. Some toy blocks and games were a nice surprise. Thanks Matthew for a comfy stay in Brevard!

What a cool mountain hideaway! The location was convenient to town, as well as to hiking, mountain biking and fishing. The house itself is roomy and comfy but our favorite hang-out spot was the outside area, with its covered seating area, fireplace AND fire pit (and wood-fired pizza oven!). There's also a little wood stove on the covered porch, another wood stove in the "parlor" area of the living room and even a gas fireplace. If you like sitting by the fire, this is the place for you! Alas, a bit too warm during our late-spring stay for fires. We heard neighbors a couple times but otherwise it was almost eerily quiet up there. The hosts were super communicative and helped ensure check-in and check-out were smooth and easy. Next time I'm back in the Brevard area this will be my first choice for home base. Five stars all the way!

We stayed at the Glenna for a mini honeymoon with two pups and loved it. It's in a secluded area with a few neighbors, which is exactly what we wanted. An short and easy drive to Asheville, but we found we enjoyed visiting the Arden/Fletcher area as well for food and hikes. The drive up to the cabin is beautiful with plenty of twisty curves as you would expect in the mountains, but a very enjoyable drive. (As of May 2025 the directions may mislead you due to a road closure, you'll go through it just a bit to turn in front of a very beautiful white church with a creek in front of it.) We spent most nights outside with a fire by the creek making smores or enjoying the quiet nature. Our dogs loved sniffing about everywhere they could find, especially our nightly walks around the property. We had a power outage and Larry was nice enough to stop by and drop some lights for us and Courtney left us some beautiful Asheville mugs. A wonderful cabin and area, we would definitely visit again!

The Lake house was one of the quietest and most peaceful air b-and-b's we have stayed at. The new back deck is the highlight of the lake cabin. The rest of the cabin is fully equipped and functional, but we hardly left the back deck. With its fenced in area and gate was perfect for the dog. The kayaks and dock are a nice addition. It is located close to good dining at Micas restaurant and Whiteside brewery. We came for the hiking in Panthertown area. We will be back again.

This is my second time staying at this fantastic spot, and it was just as great as the first. They are wonderful hosts, the place is a real hidden gem, and the community has so much to offer. It certainly won't be my last time here!

What a wonderful little place to stay. Private, clean, and close enough to town. Some parts of the cottage (pool, bathroom, and part of kitchen) were recently renovated and were even nicer than the photos. Harry was very responsive with any questions. It was a pleasure staying here and I hope to visit again.

This was our second stay we have stayed on both sides of the Airbnb and we absolutely loved them both it was peaceful and relaxing just what we needed 😊

Wow this place was absolutely amazing the pool and the hot tub were definitely the highlight of the stay but the house was also very homey and clean and it’s was a fun time

We enjoyed this home. It was comfortable, roomy, and suited our needs perfectly. It looked like the pictures. Renee was a great host with checking in on us and making sure everything was good. We would definitely consider staying again!

This is such an amazing place and yes it is real! Incredible views and wonderful stunning home in the mountains. It really was a memory I'll have forever. Matt was so awesome, he helped us get settled in and the amenities were so awesome🙏. Stay here and prepare to be pampered all the way up in the mountains! ❤️

Grace is an absolutely amazing Airbnb host with an incredible level of hospitality! Without a doubt, the property was the cleanest I've ever stayed at. Every amenity was exactly as described, if not better, and the entire property was not just clean, but truly pristine and thoughtfully set up. Grace was also incredibly responsive to messages and very helpful, offering lots of fantastic recommendations for the area. I highly recommend staying at her property—she truly goes above and beyond, you won't regret it.

Beautiful quiet retreat space. Host was very informative with instructions on getting to the location and where to find the amenities. It’s a must stay.

Beyond our expectations! The cottage has plenty of room, private and peaceful listening to the birds. The view of the lake is gorgeous, Kathleen is an excellent host, and her dog "Tilly" was friendly and very entertaining. Canoe & kayaks are included which made our stay special. Wolf Lake has the cleanest water we've ever seen in the Carolina's, and we've seen many. The water is so clear, we saw countless fish (big & small) swimming below us, so fun! The location is close to Highlands & Cashiers (pronounced Cashers - who knew!), and every restaurant meal was top-notch. So much to like about this Airbnb, HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

This was a wonderful place to stay with a wonderful host. The place was clean and cute, the location was great for hiking and there are great places to eat within a short drive, and there was what you need to be able to cook if that’s your thing. The bed was comfy and the shower was fantastic. All of the cute animals were a terrific bonus! 10/10!

My wife & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this quaint cabin! The hot tub was such a nice treat for us. Everything went smoothly with checking in. Love that the place felt secluded and we could see the stars clearly at night!

If you look at the photos and read all of Catherine's messages (she sends a lot of emails with helpful information and even a video on how to work the wood-powered hot tub) then you will be ready to know everything about this beautiful place. She goes above and beyond to welcome you and make it a true retreat from the world. This is a bit nicer (i.e. higher rate) than AirBNBs that I sometimes get on a family vacation but it was a great treat for my husband and I for a romantic getaway- worth it!

This place was a great place to get away and relax. It’s peaceful, calm, and quiet. It wasn’t difficult to find based on the directions given… just remember you are in the mountains, so the roads getting there are quite curvy! The lake was small, but just right for my children who took out the kayaks and other boats. There were several boat options to choose from, so that was a highlight for them. There’s a small fire pit where we made s’mores one night, and I noticed a grill, tho we didn’t use it. We had a nice getaway and enjoyed our stay.
