Cottage holiday rentals in Breerivier

We stayed in the Tango cottage at De Wilge for three nights in late April as part of our family trip to the Nuy Valley, Worcester, and Robertson. We were so impressed by Amanda, our hostess, who was warm, friendly, and super knowledgeable about the area… She made excellent recommendations for local outings and she was so kind and welcoming! My wife loved the cottage’s beautiful and tasteful décor and our teenager couldn’t get enough of the hot tub and the stunning mountain views. All in all, a wonderful place to kick back, relax, and unwind. Thank you for having us, Amanda!

A get away we didn’t know we needed. We spent two nights, and we are looking forward to going back. The breakfasts baskets are lovely, the staff are friendly, the cottage is stunning and the surroundings are so very pretty.

What a wonderful unexpected stay. Perfectly located with breathtaking surroundings/ well planned house with everything and more you could possibly need. This is really the perfect stay if you want a break away from the city. The farm was quiet, and private. The hot tub and indoor fireplace was the highlight to add that cosiness to a good winter holiday. The cottage was well equipped with everything you need for a short stay. Madri was also a great host and easy to reach when needed.

Lovely place to stay. Great for two legged and your legged kids! and very convenient location.

This is a lovely cottage with a peaceful atmosphere and fantastic mountain views. There were a couple of snags during our stay, but the hosts were quick to respond to any needs

We had the loveliest stay at 360 on 62. The cottage is quaint and beautifully styled with antique furniture and thoughtful finishes. We especially loved soaking in the hot tub under the stars – absolutely magical! It's a great base for exploring the Langeberg area, with plenty to do nearby. The honesty shop is such a charming touch too. Highly recommended.

By far one of the best experiences ever. Basically you will live like farmer. The facility was comfortable and clean little bet cold but Henk (the host) provide wood for heating. Highly recommend. I will visited again

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We were a bit surprised by the 10km stretch of public dirt road leading to the farm — we had expected only a few kilometers of gravel once on the property — but it was still perfectly manageable with a sedan. The thoughtful touches on arrival really made us feel welcome: a chilled G&T, the hot tub already heated, and a freshly baked loaf of bread waiting for us. The game drive the next day was a highlight. Uncle Steve shared many fascinating, history-rich spots with us, making the experience both educational and memorable. Next time (when not pregnant!), we’ll definitely take advantage of the kayaking — the lakes are absolutely beautiful — and we’d love to stay longer, as the game drive takes up most of the day. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay in the Firefly rondawel. Frog Mountain is absolutely beautiful and completely surpassed our expectations. We loved every moment. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Amazing experiance... So much fun, kids loved it place was so beautiful, kids loved playing outdoors as well... Friendly people... Good wine and great fun.. Would come back in a heartbeat....

A few extra touches made us feel very welcome. The electric blankets were left on, the fireplace was set up, but the most memorable were the two Vetsaks which were like lounging in a cloud! The greeting from the peacocks was unique!

Lovely host, lovely location!

Such a cute quaint little town to escape into. The house was incredible, super clean and great views and surrounded by nature. Stay here if you want to escape to quiet, beautiful little town with not a whole lot going on. Only a couple restaurants (at the corner was amazing)!

A beautiful apartment with everything you need for a perfect stay. “Awesome Frame” truly lives up to its name! The place is stylish, comfortable, and had all the essentials we needed. We had a lovely stay at Richard's place. It was so beautiful and peaceful. The bed was wonderfully comfortable and I could have spent all my time in the hanging chair. Richard and Issi were very responsive and accommodating hosts. We arrived late well after checkin and Issi was available to help us. I loved running on the estate. This will definitely be my 'go to' place whenever we're in Franschoek.
