We had a wonderful stay at Lavender Cottage! The property had everything we needed. I would gladly have stayed on longer if time allowed! Tim was an excellent host, easy to get hold of and responded quickly to everything.

The position is beautiful with views in all directions from the third floor and one can hear the sea at night when drifting off to sleep. The living areas and kitchen have every amenity one needs to feel comfortable and and to have a special stay. The house is walking distance from beach, extremely spacious and well appointed. We all had a lovely break. Thank you Jutta for your efforts.

Everything about Hein’s home was fabulous. It was such a wonderful experience for us. In fact the Airbnb pictures do not do the place justice. It’s even more appealing in person. The views from all angles in the home of the cove and mountains is really lovely. The outdoor decks and entertainment area are well furnished and equipped. Everything was beautifully laid out. All amenities are of a superior quality and not “normal” Airbnb spec. The house is super clean, furnishings and artwork are gorgeous. Honeslty all I can say is we really enjoyed our stay and would’ve loved to stay longer. We dealt with Megan who is pleasant and responsive. She made sure everything was up to scratch. She assisted with recommendations and information about the area. It was a 60th birthday getaway and it was memorable because of the stay. The estate is super secure and welcoming. We spent the whole weekend with open windows and unlocked doors. We love it. Thank you so much.

Francois' house is a real gem! It is even more spacious than it looks on the pictures and we felt right at home and could really relax after our 2-week road trip before flying home. We were 4 people and even had to look for each other as the house is so big! :) You will find everything you need there, it is a safe neighbourhood with great views and there are nice restaurants not too far away. The location is ideal if you plan trips to Stellenbosch, Hermanus or Cape Point and with the car you are in the city center in about 40min. Communication with Francois or his sister Dorette was always super easy and helpful and in case of early check-out there is a key box available.

This was a pretty much perfect choice. Everything was easy to operate, and living in Mario's house was just very easy. Mario himself was friendly and welcoming, and it all worked out well.

We had such a fantastic stay at this beautiful Arniston home! Our only regret is that we didn’t book for a few more days. The house is stunning — tastefully decorated and fully equipped with everything a family could need. Our children loved having the big garden to run around in, and being able to bring our fur child along made the experience even more special. The hosts were incredibly responsive and accommodating, and we truly had a wonderful, memorable time. We can't wait to return!

What a fantastic home in the centre of Stellenbosch, every room so beautifully appointed and so many welcoming details from wine and orange juice to rusks and muesli. A total local gem that was very chic, we wished we had more time!

It is a fantastic location and the views of lake and mountain are lovely. The host is really responsive and easy to deal with. This is a great house for groups of friends and family wanting to get away. Lots of space and hideaways for larger groups.

This stay was perfect for our group of 7 - even more space than we needed. The house and property are unbelievably beautiful, and it was so relaxing. It’s a relatively easy uber into town, while having privacy and space for your stay. The hosts were very friendly and responsive, making everything easy. Definitely recommend!

We had the most wonderful stay at India’s home in Hermanus (which with its expansive land so close to the sea felt like an estate). India was a delight to communicate with; responsive, friendly and helpful. Anton, the house manager is also great, and apart from being friendly and helpful, also looks after the house in an unobtrusive way such that it almost seems by magic that the house is cleaned, the fire is lit etc. We also had our dog with us which I felt was made to feel most welcome. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Hermanus!

The house was beautiful and exactly what we were looking for. Adri was friendly and assisted when needed. The estate is beautiful, safe and has lots to do. The golf carts were a bonus. We really enjoyed going for drives in the afternoon.

location is great, just off the main street on a quiet road. the interior space surpasses the photographs and would be very comfortable for 6. (we peaked at 4) Jo even added in additional servicing which we requested and when we said the dishwasher was not working properly, it was replaced the very next day. nothing was too much trouble for them and this is probably the best rental we have ever had.

Lalapanzi and the Skaap House provided an unforgettable two-week retreat for our family of seven. Nestled in stunning natural beauty, the lodge offers breathtaking views that truly felt like a dream. Waking up to the serene landscape each morning was a joy. What truly sets Lalapanzi apart is the opportunity to walk among zebras, springboks, bonteboks, and wildebeest within the game reserve – a magical experience we cherished daily. The warm hospitality and friendly, responsive staff made us feel right at home, and the proximity to fantastic restaurants, wineries, and various outdoor activities was a bonus. We can't recommend Lalapanzi highly enough for anyone seeking an idyllic South African escape.

We were at Villa the cherry with my wife and my 3 kids (14/12/9), the place is fabulous, we have an easy access to best activities around (houses trail, fatbike, shark cage, whales boat, natural caves, natural reserve walks) and the Villa itself is proposing the best view on the bay you will never have. For us in 6 days we have seen 50+ whales just watching from our master bedroom. It makes a big difference. And to add Annick is a tremendous host that facilitates our stay, arranging custom breakfast, and chef at the Villa. Thank you again Annick and I’m definitely recommending this place to all !

Was always at hand for any questions we had, gave us restaurant recommendations and always kept in touch with us. 269 On Main is perfectly positioned for visiting Hermanus and surroundings. We just spent 10 days at Coastal Mellows and could not recommend it more. The house is a few minutes walk from Central Hermanus which we loved. The house is beautiful, spacious with everything that you could need. We would love to return next time we are in the area

Simply put this was sublime. Not only does the property reside in what has to be one of the most beautiful private estates, but the property is stunning and you’d think you were the first guests to stay there. The property has an astonishing view that I don’t think many Airbnbs could compete with. The place is deep cleaned nearly daily and we were made to feel at home and special. Small touches were noticeable such as toiletries and kitchen goods. You are moments from some of the most beautiful wineries in the world and stones through from Stellenbosch itself. The property is in a secure gated estate which gave us a real sense of safety, not that we consider the area worrying at all (as it isn’t) but we brought our infant daughter with us so all worries are heightened. No such worries necessary here. I would love to say horrible things about this place, if only to ensure it would be available next time we come. We even extended our stay as couldn’t bear to leave.

Great location close to stunning beaches and wonderful walking trails. House was large and great for a group with all kitchen amenities. Particularly loved the indoor BBQ room which we used a lot during our stay.
