Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Breerivier

This is already our fourth time staying in Rigby's beautiful house. It is wonderfully located on the golf course, offering a peaceful atmosphere. It's a great starting point for many activities. Rigby and Jean-André are always easily reachable. We are looking forward to our next visit!

Beautiful home in an amazing location. Felt right at home - house is just far enough from the hustle and bustle of the Main Street to feel very private but all within walking distance of anything you need. Jan was a great host and so was Eric who looked after us very well. Will def be back for future trips.

A wonderful space and lovely hosts. We had a really, really enjoyable visit. The location is perfect. Quiet but close to everything, we walked up and down the Main Street many times! The space is lovely, we were able to open up the doors to the winter sun. Will return!!

This place is made to calm down and relax. It‘s far out the city and around 1km from the host‘s farm. There is no electricity in the house but candles and lamps… and a very nice hot tube. Heleen, our super friendly host, prepared hot water when we arrived, gave us a lot of useful recommendations around this place and was helpful for everything we needed. There‘s almost no light pollution allowing a nice and clear sky full of stars! We would highly recommend this place and definitely come again! Thanks a lot!

Lovely place in the mountains. Great to spot animals on drives and walks you can do by your own. Nice playground at the office. Thanks for welcoming and hosting us.

Wonderful soul-renewal stay. Well designed home with perfect views from every angle. We enjoyed morning sunrise from the stoep and loved watching the surroundings evolve as the sun moves… most amazing colours. Switch off the lights and enjoy the stars from the hot-tub. Well equipped home and many extra surprises (thank you for the welcoming gift). Thank you Willem for the efficient and friendly communication. We’d love to be back!

We had a wonderful stay with Marelize and Dawie! The hosts were friendly and very helpful. The unit was perfect, spacious and the fireplace was a big bonus for us. The location is absolutely perfect and ideal for anyone wanting to visit Franschhoek and all the surrounding wine farms. 100% would recommend!

More often that not the accommodation photos are better than the actual accommodation, I am pleased to say that this time it was the reverse. The Acorn Cottage was better than the pictures, it was just lovely! For the price you pay you are getting an absolute 5 star experience, the cottage is perfect for 2 people wanting a romantic getaway, or even just for one person needing some solace and a quiet retreat. Well appointed, nothing was missing. The kitchen has everything you need, the bed is huge and so comfortable, quality linens and pillows, the bathroom is spacious and so well though out, great bath, good quality towels. You really don't need to bring much, some clothes and food. The view is spectacular and a little Weber takes care of that quick braai if you feel inclined and the company was exceptional - the friendly resident dog Luna. I loved it, will be back again for sure. Private and secure, Abbi is professional, responsive and doesn't fuss - perfect!

Kyle’s place was super central and close to everything. The apartment is really big and spacious, usually one bedrooms can feel a bit crammed but Kyle’s place is open and breezy but still extremely cozy with everything you need. Kyle also accommodated us with an early check-in which was awesome. Kyle is Super responsive and helpful with perfect instructions. Will definitely stay here again. Thanks Kyle!

Wow, what an incredible stay! Theresa's place is absolutely stunning, and she couldn't be a more wonderful and friendlier host. The attention to detail is impressive, and the thoughtful touches, like the birthday "surprise" for my wife, truly made our weekend unforgettable. The amenities are top-notch: a cozy lounge with both air conditioning and a fireplace (with wood provided!), a massive fully equipped kitchen, and a luxurious bedroom with an amazing walk-in shower. We've had some great Airbnb experiences, but this one truly stands out. Theresa's place is perfect for a relaxing getaway. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend this spot to friends and family. Five stars isn't enough – we'd give it ten stars if we could! Thanks, Theresa, for an awesome weekend!

The apartment was like the best fitted treehouse you could possibly stay in. Every fixture and fitting had been carefully thought through. The most luxurious abode I have ever stayed in. Understated, exquisitely furnished in the most tasteful way. The complex and the buildings are a dream come true. The thoughtful touches were much appreciated. Hope to return. Everything was perfect.

My partner and I came to celebrate our anniversary and Valentine’s Day. Elfriede made our stay so special and we loved every single second of the time we spent there. Thank you so much, we can’t wait to come back again. Definitely become a new special place for us. Xx

Fantastic stay over Easter at this beautiful house with stunning views 😍 Everything exactly as described and easy to check in. The deck and garden seating with beautiful and comfy lovely cushions, made for a great spot to relax outside. Inside the rooms were lovely too, so would recommend this house to others and look forward to returning ourselves one day too.

We loved our stay at the Fairy Flycatcher. Sunsets here are pretty spectacular and we enjoyed spotting the guinea fowl in the garden. Monika is a great host, highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet escape.

We stayed at the tree stone villa for the long weekend in Hermanus with a couple of friends and it was such a lovely experience. The self check in was super easy and Leandri the host was so kind to let us only check out at 4pm. The house is beautiful, very well maintained and kitted out with plenty of utensils, cutlery, firewood and even spices for cooking! The apple and lemon trees in the front yard were also such a bonus! The lounge and braai area was spacious and comfortable and we were pleasantly surprised by all the amenities such as the ice machine, blender, air fryer and dishwasher. It was really the perfect getaway to stay in and cook up a feast and we will definitely save this as one of our favourites and visit again!

The house at De Kelders is exquisite. The open view is 180 deg of sea view right above the rocks and the beautiful sea. Saw many seals. The house is beautifully appointed with stunning finishes. The house offers all the necessary amenities It’s peaceful and open plan. Both Hermanus and Stanford is close for restaurants and there are many accessible beaches. I highly recommend this property for a relaxing holiday

We had an amazing time staying at this beautiful house. Megan and Mike were incredibly welcoming. The house was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped and the living and dining areas were perfect for our party of ten. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with fantastic hosts.

We had such a lovely stay at Saskia’s place! The house was stunning and the garden and surrounding areas were breathtaking. The house had everything we needed and made us super cosy despite the cold weather. Saskia was an incredible host - she was kind, responsive and helpful (even when we accidentally left something behind). We couldn’t have had a better stay and hope to be back soon!
