Thank you Mark, for allowing us to stay. We had a fabulous time and completely enjoyed our stay, we only wished we could have stayed longer! The cottage is absolutely delightful both inside and out, and provided us with a complete escape in the beautiful countryside. The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable, we particularly loved sitting in the garden and enjoying a glass of wine, with only birdsong for noise. Our dog also loved the garden which is very safe and secure, and there were plenty of lovely walks. Communication with Mark was second to none, and he helpfully provided detailed directions, places to walk and visit and recommendations as to where to eat. The milk, tea and coffee on arrival were also appreciated. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend Mark's place.

We used Andy's house as a base for my mother to stay with our baby daughter while we attended a nearby 'adult only' wedding. From the start, Andy's communication was fantastic. During our stay he couldn't be more helpful, providing us with all the information required for a comfortable stay, letting my mum know about local places to go (my daughter enjoyed the nearby gruffalo trail!), forewarning us of road closures and even offering to provide lifts to the wedding venue if required! my mum particularly enjoyed Alison's tour of the grounds and seeing the beautiful garden. Would highly recommend and book again in a heartbeat if ever back in the area 😊

A rejuvenating place that felt like staying in someone's warm (not just in temperature) and characterful home. We enjoyed feeling relaxed here from the moment we arrived. The surrounding fields and orchard with a river running through it was idyllic day and night. I was rewarded for being awake by the sounds of tawny owls calling back and forth. Thanks Jim and Sally for the little touches and thoughtful hosting.
