We had a great time, everything was perfect, from the accommodation to the welcome to the delicious meals hosted by the host. All at more than reasonable rates. I highly recommend it!

I stayed at La Maison à Côté near La Tontouta airport with my father and two children in April 2025 for two nights – one at the beginning and one at the end of our vacation in New Caledonia – and we were very satisfied with the experience. The location is ideal if you arrive late or if you take an early flight in the morning: it is only a few minutes from the airport, but you feel completely elsewhere, in a peaceful and comfortable setting. Mickael and Hélène communicated very well with us and were available to answer our questions. The three bedrooms are spacious, clean and warm, and the outdoor bathroom is set up with great care and taste. If you are looking for a relaxing stopover or even a starting point to explore the area, I highly recommend La Maison à Côté. I will return without hesitation on my next visit to New Caledonia.

Great stay! A beautiful and very peaceful place… Thibaut is a very welcoming host. He shared his passion for agriculture and everything he grows in an artisanal way. The place is just amazing The cottage was made with his hands with his friend and it's just sublime! We were treated to a breakfast with the fruits of their garden and it was a treat
