Monthly Rentals in Botloe's Green

Janet and Rupert made us feel so welcome and we found opportunities to chat with them which really made us feel at home. The accommodation is beautiful, exactly as shown in photos, and we made use of the private garden. They provided bread, eggs, milk and juice and many other basics. Of course we brought everything we needed with us, not having experienced this kind of provision elsewhere, but this felt like a warm hug of welcome. There are plenty of books of all genres, games, dvd's, so plenty to occupy time in case of inclement weather and long evenings. Information on local walks and places of interest were useful and we explored the community café and park. We loved it so much here, we will definitely return. We can't recommend it highly enough and Janet and Rupert are genuinely lovely hosts. P.S. We adored all the animals!

Had a fab weekend stay, the accommodation is in a lovely setting, peaceful, clean and modern. Hosts were amazing and the tips upon booking were great for local stops around the area. We will be back 😁

Had a wonderful week at The Retreat. John’s directions and instructions were very clear. The accommodation was larger than expected and was well equipped. It was the perfect location for us to explore the surrounding area. The bottle of milk and wine in the fridge were much appreciated.

Thanks for a fantastic stay! Everything was as described or better. Newent is a lovely town and home to the best Museum of Board Games in the world!
