Guest house holiday rentals in Bollenstreek

Gemma and Dirk made sure our stay was comfortable and check in was absolutely stress-free. They were available if we needed help and provided us with tips to get us settled in Heemstede. All the necessary bits are in walking distance including a train station with trains running to Den Haag and Amsterdam every few minutes. The kitchen provides all necessary things and the bathrooms are tidy and one has a big shower. Everything like in the pictures! For good restaurants you'd best take the bus to Haarlem Center. It's a 20 min drive or a nice stroll along the canals. For those considering the apartment please note that all touristy cities require a train from Heemstede. But this was crucial for us to be at rest in the evening. I really enjoyed the stay and would recommend this place to everyone seeking a private retreat off the tracks.

Fred and Kelly’s place is absolutely wonderful. We stayed because the price was better and there was a little more room than many places directly in the city. Though we looked forward to it, we didn’t expect to fall in love with it…and we did! Staying outside of the city is pretty great. It’s a 10ish minute walk to the train station, and then an easy navigation to wherever you need to go. We didn’t mind the “commute” a bit, and it was nice to start off and wind down in a quieter setting. The place itself is well kept, clean, and cozy. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot with good pressure. We enjoyed casting Netflix on the TV with the fireplace on in the evenings, and we spent a couple of mornings in the garden. We booked this spot our entire stay, but also spent one night in Amsterdam to experience “city life,” and also spent one night in Utrecht. These were perfect additions to our home base plan. I’d definitely stay here again!

Excellent stay at Vera's, who is adorable. The accommodation is cute, clean, and as described. The neighborhood is beautiful, there is a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. Breakfast is perfect, varied with quality products. I can only recommend this place.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. Astrid and Thijs are fantastic hosts – incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. They gave us lots of great tips on what to see and do in the area, which really enhanced our trip. Their beautiful garden is the perfect place to relax. The accommodation was spotless and flawless. We truly had a great time and would love to come back!

We spent a week at Jan and Marina’s place and have enjoyed our time there. A really delightful safe haven as a base to explore more of the Netherlands. We did not expect that in the centre of Nijkerk we could enjoy a very peaceful private space to enjoy the outside with turtles and a cheeky squirrel. All amenities are very close with fresh fruit and bakery just across the road, and a pleasant square with numerous restaurants and shops. Larger supermarkets are also within walking distance. Free parking available across the road too. The accommodation was spotless and provided all the home comforts. We have had a very comfortable and relaxed stay, Jan and Marina are a lovely couple and very welcoming and available if we needed anything. Highly recommend their accommodation and will definitely stay again.

A beautiful place. And immediately the pheasant with chicks in the garden. Beautiful skies seen from under the covered veranda. Hares and herons. Cuckoo and owls. Slept well on the cozy upper floor. Beautifully styled with an eye for detail. Those stairs, wow.

We had a very nice stay at Ton's place. Very quiet place, perfect to rest and to discover Nordholland, its mills and its polders.

Had a lovely (and rainy!) evening :) Even more amenities than expected and felt extremely comfortable. Loved meeting the chickens and the breakfast display. Jaap was very kind and we appreciate his time and help. Thank you for helping us start our Dutch adventure peacefully!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay! The place was spotless, beautifully maintained, and located in a charming little town that’s simply amazing. The hosts were truly wonderful—warm, spontaneous, and incredibly thoughtful. Ebitha even treated us to a delicious homemade apple pie, which was such a sweet surprise and made us feel right at home. If it were possible to give more than 5 stars, we absolutely would—Airbnb really needs to add that option for places like this! Highly, highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay in Max's cottage! It is neat and cozy and within walking distance (15 minutes) of the beach. Max is a very good host: he always responds quickly and upon arrival there was a delicious package ready! Nice that there is a children's room and Max even had a baby bed ready for us. Definitely recommended for a weekend in Noordwijk!

Our hostess Janine was very friendly and answered our inquiries quickly. We had a wonderful time and were very happy with the beach house. Although it's quite small, it was adequate for two people and, above all, very clean. It's well-equipped, with a refrigerator, hotplates, pots, cutlery, and dishes. The location is very central, and you can reach the beach and town within 5 minutes on foot. We highly recommend the beach house, worth a visit again at any time. :)

We really loved Emmanuelle's place - we absolutely recommend staying! It is very spacious and wonderfully decorated - lots of interesting furniture, fixtures, and decor. The beds were so comfy and the place is very clean. We only stayed one night and it was rainy the whole time so I can't wait to go again when we can stay longer and enjoy the animals and outside areas too. Communication with Emmanuelle was always a pleasure.

Where to start...first of all, the contact with Kristel and Frans was extremely easy and proactive. They gave us a very friendly welcome and made us feel at home. The accommodation itself is a cute little place for two people. Everything you need was there. We also spent a lot of time with Frans and had really great conversations. Kristel and Frans were very open and accommodating. We didn't lack for anything. They gave us tips on where we could eat well, what we could see and where we could fish well. We would particularly like to emphasize Frans sincerity and his positive and funny manner. Talking to him was never boring and always funny! Our highlight was on the last evening. Frans invited us to go fishing on the boat. We spent 3 hours on the water with Frans and had a really great time. We will be back and will bring a crate of beer next time. Thank you two, we won't forget you.

A very tasteful and functional vacation home and also noticed lovingly designed guest book. Femke is very eager to meet all wishes! We would recommend the house to anyone for a short trip, due to the size you have to be aware that there are not many storage options (I did not unpack my bag). The sink in the kitchen is the only one available, so you brush your teeth there. Sleeping with the window open is definitely possible - you don't hear anything. The area is very quiet and easy to explore on foot. We felt very comfortable!

We had wonderful days in huysjes Rive , plenty of space , everything but then everything is present , clean, quiet , car is safe , good communication with Rebecca, nice wife by the way , she is easily accessible and helpful. As a born Horinese and lived in the south for years, I loved reading the history of the house , there were two of us but is very easy to do with several . Location is perfect, behind the large church and so at the Red Stone where you can sit comfortably on the terraces . Only the stairs were a little less for us personally but has to do with our physical condition, otherwise TOP

We were able to spend a week's vacation with our 1 1/2-year-old son at Leah and Tom's and would have liked to stay there much longer. The two have a wonderful, cozy apartment and a fantastic garden that invites you to linger and was a great place for our son to romp and explore. Both in the apartment and the garden, you immediately notice that a place to feel good has been created with a lot of love. There were even a lot of toys for our son. :-) In addition, we want to say one more thing: We have already used AirBnB many times, but we have never had such great, friendly and helpful landlords like Leah and Tom. They were always there to help and advise (especially when it came to tips for activities with our son) and there was always time for a private conversation. Incredibly loving people! We would have liked to give more than 5 stars! :-)

House was clean and well cared for. Beautiful surroundings and the bikes were very convenient to get everywhere.

Beautiful typical house, well located because it is close to the center of Laren. Very quiet place with a beautiful garden. Well-equipped rental. We had a great stay in this place.

Daphne's apartment is super located for excursions to Amsterdam and had everything you need. Daphne is a very nice and accommodating host and responded to my questions very quickly.

An amazing find! Frans’ place is so unique and beautiful. The boat is a fun adventure and Frans did a great tutorial for me. They were both super flexible and accommodating, and their son too. The little cottage is gorgeous and perfect for what we needed. Got amazing sleep on the island so peaceful. Very easy parking setup too for my rental car. Wish we could’ve stayed longer.

We had a great 5 day stay in Mischa’s Amsterdam apartment. The unit is very bright, well equipped and spacious enough to spread out. The washer and dryer are an added benefit especially if you are making multiple stops in your travels. The beautiful fresh flowers were also a nice touch. The immediate area, on a leafy canal, is lovely, and excellent restaurants and museums are all within walking distance. Mischa was very accommodating and upon our early arrival graciously arranged for us to drop off our luggage. She also communicated with us promptly and to ensure we were comfortable and that our needs were met. This is a wonderful base for travel in Amsterdam.
