Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Bochum

I really enjoyed the stay! The check-in was very easy, the apartment was clean and in a good location. The cottage has a great vibe. Highly recommend!

Cordula’s place is idyllic. The garden is immaculate and a great setting for morning coffee. The apt was super clean and exactly what we needed for our group of 5. The walks along the Rhine were a great way to start the day. Would not hesitate to book Cordula’s place again.

A nice house with plenty of space, in a pleasant area. The kitchen is very well equipped and I loved the fact that all of the cupboards and drawers had little labels on to show what was inside - a handy little touch. The dining area is very comfortable with a large, sturdy table. We stayed for a couple of nights during a period of very warm weather and really appreciated the fact that it was easy to open the very large windows and get a nice breeze blowing through. The only slight drawbacks were a slow-draining shower, a lack of comfy living room furniture (one nice chair - the other two items are IKEA pull-out beds with hard backs), the very heavy door on the dishwasher (the door tension is broken, so it opened without any resistance and nearly flattened the dog!) and a missing garden gate so the dogs had to be kept on their leashes when in the garden, but these are very minor things when compared to the positive points about the accommodation. I would happily stay there again.

We had a very pleasant stay. Cedric and his family are very kind and welcoming. We enjoyed spending a weekend on their farm. The alpacas are a great addition, very nice to meet them.

Beautiful house with breathtaking views over Lake Baldeney. The house has everything you need for a good time in Essen, everything very high quality and even personal, which you can't find in every typical Airbnb. Throughout the house you can enjoy music in the best quality, for example through Spotify. Also, the house has a fully equipped modern kitchen with everything you need and even several fully automatic coffee machines. You can grill in the garden with a weaver or relax in your own house which has a heated hot tub and sauna. The hosts Clemens and Mr. Siegler are very friendly, extremely hospitable and are always easily accessible. No matter what I asked, everything was always done to make you feel comfortable. A really perfect place to stay for our stay. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The location is ideal for exploring the area and check-in went smoothly. We felt very comfortable here and can highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful day at Karen‘s house nestled in the woods in an old disused quarry. We even spotted some wildlife and an owl. Karen and her husband gave us a warm, friendly welcome and made recommendations of local restaurants and cultural attractions in Dortmund to visit. Karen went above and beyond and also posted me an item that I had forgotten and left at the house.l, which we thought was so kind and thoughtful. The house is in a very quiet, peaceful area so you’re guaranteed a good night sleep. The house is spotlessly clean and comfortable fully equipped kitchen and good shower. Easy access to the city by car or taxi. Also a really good restaurant serving traditional German food a five minute walk from the House called WurstHaus Krämer. I would highly recommend this house and wouldn’t hesitate before staying there again when visiting Dortmund next time.

Everything was just excellent! The apartment is very cozy, clean and exactly as described. The hosts are wonderful – friendly, helpful and attentive. I was there with my children and we felt at home. For me, this was true hospitality and an expression of respect for the guests - something that you don't find everywhere. Our far too short time in Vera's small loft was rainy but still incredibly relaxing. We felt right at home thanks to Vera's warm nature. The accommodation is super clean and decorated with visible creativity, love and craftsmanship in all corners. It is really very cozy and, due to the many upcycling and the beautiful location, exceptional and close to nature. Despite the rain, we sat for a long time in the covered outdoor area, watching the cats and ducks and listening to the pouring rain. Lake Baldeney is within walking distance through the beautiful forest and restaurants and supermarkets are also nearby. Highly recommended - we were warmly welcomed and had a very spacious and super clean apartment and felt very comfortable right away. The location is also perfect, within walking distance are supermarkets, bakeries etc. The apartment was also very nicely furnished, nothing was missing. Thank you!

Angela's place is decorated with a lot of love. You're right at home! The exchange is super uncomplicated and pleasant. The tour of the garden and the workshop with the many artworks were also particularly great! 😊

Quiet neighborhood, nice apartment you can easily find in the area and tasty coffee for the first refreshments in the apartment :)
