Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Black Forest

We had a great stay at Cobblestone Cottage! The home was cozy, clean, and well-stocked, and the setting in the forest was beautiful — especially with the rain. Communication with Sarah was excellent; she was warm, helpful, and responsive throughout our stay. The instructions were clear, and check-in/check-out was a breeze. We’d definitely love to come back again. Highly recommend!

This place is beautiful, warm, and very welcoming. The surroundings were gorgeous, Serene and quiet. Several herds of mule deer come through, some of them were almost right up at the house. The amenities that were available were great, the house was spotless but comfortable and home like when we walked in. The linens were pristine and clean, the shower was great. We would happily stay there again. My daughter even would like to have her honeymoon in that house. Travis communicated with us regularly to make sure that we were okay and whether we had any questions or any needs. It was by far the best Airbnb that we've used.

Owen and Mary were great hosts. The house was very clean and had everything needed for a quick trip. The kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked with items needed. While it didn't bother us, you can hear some from upstairs. If you're sensitive to noise I would take that into consideration. Overall great stay and would recommend for a quick trip. Good restaurants close by.

Valerie's space is extremely comfortable, spacious and quiet. The unit is well maintained and super clean!

Jonathan is a wonderful host! Very kind, thoughtful and extremely generous!! The house was so clean, comfortable, and homey! We only had a short stay, but this is a great, safe place with accommodating hosts who genuinely care about their guests! Couldn't recommend this place more!! 10/10

Debra and Adonis were the perfect airbnb hosts! My sister and I came to Colorado Springs partly for a vacation, but also to explore the area as we are planning to move out here in the future. The place was quiet, clean, and the perfect size for my sister and I to stay. They were so nice and super helpful, checking in on us to make sure we had everything we need! They also left a welcome to Colorado sign, as well as stickers to take, and as this was our first time visiting Colorado Springs, it was those little details that made our trip extra special. :) Thank you so much Debra and Adonis!

Our Family absolutely enjoyed this home and all it has to offer! There was plenty of space for everyone to either relax alone in their own rooms or come together to enjoy the huge living area and amenities. We were unaware this property had a hot tub or we would have prepared for some soaking but we made it happen.

Briar Patch Urban Farm was the PERFECT place for our family to stay! Our kids (ages 3 and 1) loved interacting with the animals, and Doug gave us a sweet little tour. The Airbnb was perfectly set up for families as well—they even had toys, kids plates/silverware, kids bath soap, and a bathroom stool! They were the most thoughtful and understanding hosts, and I would 100% recommend this place to anyone wanting a fun and beautiful place to stay, especially if you have kids.

This place is so cozy and nice. Staying here was so pleasant and peaceful like home. we were able to fully rested. There are lots of thoughtful amenities. Never get bored here. Sleeping was so comfortable and this is really clean home. we loved it so much! Thank you!!

This is a great place with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Great fenced yard for pets/ children, fireplace, and grill. Bed was comfortable, and water was hot! Would definitely recommend and definitely stay again! I'm very familiar with the area, having previously lived in that neighborhood, and would surely recommend to anyone visiting/exploring the Pikes Peak region! There's something for everyone here and the house is convenient to many attractions!

I have stayed here many times and keep coming back because of the kind service and communication from Frank & Ingrid and because the apartment is reliably clean and pleasant and in such a great location - walkable to Colorado College and downtown Colorado Springs.

We enjoyed sitting on the front porch, walking to the neighborhood pizza cafe and being close to downtown. We nicknamed the cozy spot “the dollhouse” because it was nicely appointed with everything we needed. We had a delightful stay!

We had the BEST stay at Mary's property. It was absolutely more gorgeous and spacious than the pictures showed. Mary was very communicative and responsive, even checking on us during a surprise blizzard! She offered her husband to come help us if we got stuck in the snow late at night! We didn't have hot water the first night we arrived, and she profusely apologized and unexpectedly returned some of our money for the inconvenience. Overall, we felt very cared for in a beautiful property with everything we would need to make for a comfortable and cozy stay in the beautiful Colorado mountains. I would 10/10 stay at Mary's property again. The beds were very comfortable, our kids loved the games and large space to play, the kitchen was fully stocked, and the towels were fluffy and plentiful! In-unit washer/dryer was also helpful for us. We always felt safe and like we were able to contact Mary with any questions at all. It was a FANTASTIC experience!

My fiancé and I felt right at home. Unique little spot. It was our first time visiting Colorado. Our favorite was the view. Stunning. Our last night there was a little thunder & lightning storm. We open the curtains and sliding doors and watched from the patio. The only thing we wished there were a couple throw blankets to relax with on the couch. We enjoyed the variety selection of books. The host and her co-host (Cody) were very communicative and quick to respond.

Very easy and welcoming place. Everything from the discription, instructions, the layout, easy of getting in/out - it was great! The place was clean, well decorated, organized and felt like home. This was a great stay and I would rent it again.

Great stay, was very proactive with communication. The kids didn’t complain about anything and I’m not sure you can get a better compliment than teens who don’t find something to complain about.

Fantastic stay. Spacious, well-equipped, and in a beautiful part of Colorado Springs. For a short-term stay near Fort Carson, Jennifer’s place offers a refreshing perspective of the city. Highly recommend.
