Nerdscapist, geekmantic country home; perfect for oddballs who wish for a crafty, private, hilarious country retreat. Featuring a bad art print collection from the glorious MA Museum of Bad Art (Or Mass MOBA). Original bad art and sculpture. Much scope for the imagination's doofiest crevices. Redonkulously close to all the local fun: tiny drive to 5 lakes, Jacob's Pillow, Tanglewood 17 mi, Otis ski, 1/2 hr to Butternut Ski & Tubing Pittsfield & Great Barrington, hour to Berkshire E & Mass MOCA.

Country Cabin

Lovely private country setting, air conditioner. Listen to owls and coyotes at night, birds during the day. When it rains you can enjoy the sound on the metal roof. I only accept advance reservations of 2 nights or more. (You may reserve a single night booking within 5 days of request.) The space is for 2 adults but I'm flexible, so don't hesitate to ask. Seasonal/weekend rates may apply. I live on the property with my partner and the cabin would not otherwise be on the real estate market.

Upstairs is a queen bed and full bath, while downstairs features a functional kitchen, work desk, grand windows, and a living space with full sleeper sofa. We live in the main house on property but respect your privacy-see photos!

There are plenty of nearby hiking trails and charming towns to explore.

Relax in our bright, very spacious, and quiet loft, on six open acres. Lounge on the stone terrace, under the stars, by a cozy fire, near the garden. 35 min to Northampton, 35 min to MassMoca, 10 min to Berk. East. Pellet stove, Fiber Optic Wi-Fi, streaming options, and cell coverage. Fully outfitted kitchen with home made granola, and assorted beverages. Two hybrid bikes available for use. There are 3, 5-ft long skylights, and a cathedral ceiling= much natural light!

Come enjoy the Berkshires any season you choose. We are close to local ski areas, with have access to snow shoeing, ice fishing and many more winter activities. Also located within minutes of the many cultural attractions the Berkshires have to offer, Jacob's Pillow, Shakespeare & Company, and Tanglewood. Enjoy the beautiful fall foliage on our small private pond. You can bring your kayak or canoe to enjoy the wildlife that abounds or catch & release in our pond.
