The Hobbit House is a tiny house (15x11'); Full size bed, futon/couch that sleeps an extra guest, outdoor claw foot tub, shower, electric fireplace, and outhouse with composting toilet. The tiny cabin has a patio, picnic table and fire ring. The patio overlooks a pond and is part of a 53 acre forested property in the Blue Ridge. WiFi is now included. Glamp in style! The main lodge is just up the driveway if you need to contact the host. FYI: Outdoor shower/tub is turned off in a freeze.

We enjoyed staying at Judy's home for our visit to West Jefferson. We frequently visit West Jefferson and Judy's home has by far been the best we have stayed at. The location to downtown was convenient, the home itself was in spotless condition. Judy was helpful and responsive to any questions that I had. The house was beautiful and was in great condition. There were absolutely no issues and we look forward to staying here when we visit West Jefferson again!

If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway then this is the place to go. The scenery was beautiful and made you feel at peace. I would highly recommend staying at the Buffalo Bungalow and we will definitely be going back! Also the host were very friendly and when we had an issue with the tv they fixed it right away.

We walked in and were immediately struck by how homey and comfortable Amanda's place was! We absolutely loved our stay and if we ever find ourselves in Jefferson again, we would 100% stay here again. Comfortable beds, super clean, and every amenity we could possibly need... I even messaged her the day of check-in to double check if she had an iron, and she made sure to leave us one right on the kitchen counter before we got there. Amanda is so sweet and very responsive. 11/10 recommend!!
