Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Bardstown

The cottage was beautiful and peaceful. It was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. We spent the days we were there visiting several distilleries which were all conveniently located to the cottage. If you’re looking for a spot to unplug this is the place to do it! The WiFi is very spotty, so it’s definitely not the place to go if you have to do any work while traveling.

This was the perfect home base for exploring the Bourbon Trail! The location was ideal—close to so many distilleries and attractions, yet tucked away in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Megan was an outstanding host—super responsive and thoughtful. She made the place feel just like home with touches like farm-fresh eggs, coffee, and other welcoming extras. If (or when!) we return to the area, we will definitely stay here again.

Our weekend had a record rainfall for the weekend and Harrison helped us with alternative ideas. We had a great time and the house was great for indoor fun. It is an easy drive to Bardstown and the Bardstown distilleries. We would highly recommend the Limestone Branch Distillery which is just 10 minutes from the house.

We had a great stay. Hung out in the screened in front porch, grilled, enjoyed the hot tub and the old Derby style of the KY home. Toni was a great host and responded quickly.

Myself and three friends stayed at the Stagg House during our visit to the bourbon trail. Private and peaceful location along the Kentucky river. Perfect place to stay during our visit to the area.

The Bard House is THE place to stay in Bardstown! Well appointed, comfortable, fun, and pretty much perfect. The beds were nice, the rooms large and comfortable, the kitchen beautiful and well-stocked, and in a great location. Every picture was spot on accurate and the place was immaculately clean. Laura was responsive with questions, and we had zero issues. The Bard House is perfect to access downtown Bardstown, walkable to everything, including the farmers market, and an accessible hub for all of our bourbon adventures! We loved the backyard and the provided games (darts, shuffleboard, and cornhole). Would absolutely stay here again!

The place is easy to find, close to the highway. The main floor has four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The basement bedroom is a bit small but still fit two people.

This is the second time we've stayed in one of his properties and this home also did not disappoint! Clean, comfortable and great Kitchen so we could just stay, no stress! The beds were great and ceiling fan's were amazing too!

We had a great stay! Perfect for a long weekend getaway. Close to downtown and the perfect amount of space for my husband and I. The place is super cute. Morgan and Taylor were quick to respond to any questions we had and also provided a great book of local things to do and places to visit.

The place was nice and very walkable to many options. The amenities at the complex were nice and easily accessible.

We had a great time and loved to get to be away from the city! Sharon was great and showed us all her animals and even let us feed her bunny!!

The communication was easy and timely. We arrived at night with no issues and were very surprised to wake up in the morning and look out the window to giant yards and beautiful fall trees! The amenities were wonderful and the snacks were delicious. The space is very cozy and well taken care of, loved it!

Tyler was very responsive and gave clear instructions. Beautiful and clean accommodations with great amenities. Our family enjoyed the pool/hot tub and location was perfect for zoo, museum and food options! Highly recommend!

The place was beautiful and clean. The mattress was so comfy! Lots of towels! A great place to stay!

The host was great at communicating with us before, during and after our stay. They not only provided so much useful information about the home and area but gave customized information, worked with us for an early check-in and checked on us after we arrived. She's super friendly and the home is great. With the 2 rules being take off shoes and have fun... it was a great place and somewhere we would certainly stay again if we're in the area.

This was a great place to stay! We needed a place to stay for 1 night last minute and we lucked out with this place. Tracey was kind and the place was clean and comfortable. My husband enjoyed using the campfire grill to make his steaks.

I’m obsessed with this place and didn’t want to leave! What a magical little space - katie and Michael thought of everything in the design, were responsive and helpful! This is the type of place that’s well worth a little extra money to stay in for the amount of love and care they put into the experience. Perfect for a night away! Thanks!

A wonderful cabin that we will certainly return to when visiting Elizabethtown. It was a peaceful, secluded environment yet really close to town.

This place was perfect for a weekend getaway. The place was clean and felt like home. The backyard area with the fire pit was perfect and the ability to purchase the whiskey barrel staves directly from him made it incredibly easy.

We found Carolyn’s place to be peaceful. The view of the lake is beautiful from the back porch. The house is clean. We were communicated with very well. She even checked to make sure we arrived okay and asked if we needed anything. She gave great instructions on finding the house. We would recommend this home to others if they are looking for a peaceful stay. The house is not far from some great distilleries as that is one of the reasons we came to visit. The surrounding areas are incredibly beautiful. Grocery stores are not far as well. We would visit again.

We had the best time! The cabin was just as pictured and perfectly fit our needs, the host guide book on here was helpful! Really overall just the nicest place and host was very communicative. It was a great touch they had coffee available as we were mostly eating out and would have had to stop at the store just to get coffee and saved us a trip! Would happily come back.

If I could give this 10 stars I would! Beautiful little Cabin with so much history inside. Full kitchen, Cozy living area, sleep number bed was very comfortable. The grounds are beautiful, so many flowers, plants, trees, just perfections and very quiet. Tammy and Jane greeted us as we checked in and showed us around. Tammy also made us breakfast every morning, fresh and homemade and even a to go basket on our last morning. The neighborhood is very peaceful. We were visiting for the derby and wished we had more time to enjoy this little peace of beauty!

“If my words did glow with the gold of sunshine”…The Ripple Inn was an awesome cabin with a lot of the amenities of home. That comes in handy when traveling with a little one. Upon arrival check in was super easy, the place was clean, and the hot tub was ready for use. Cell service was spotty but wifi solved that problem. Gas and charcoal grills for outdoor cooking options. Great view pretty much surrounding the property. Host was responsive and very descriptive with directions, check in/out instructions, as well as with suggestions of things to do locally. “Reach out your hand, if your cup be empty” and fill it with some of the sweet nectar being made at one of the near by distilleries.
