Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Kentucky

The cottage was beautiful and peaceful. It was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. We spent the days we were there visiting several distilleries which were all conveniently located to the cottage. If you’re looking for a spot to unplug this is the place to do it! The WiFi is very spotty, so it’s definitely not the place to go if you have to do any work while traveling.

Place was actually cuter than the pictures. Great choice of decor in each room really emphasizing Mammoth Cave.

Harrison was an amazing Host! The house was immaculate and had everything you could want to feel at home and relax. This is a premier spot to take your family for Visiting the gorgeous and historic Lexington. Thank you so much for an amazing place to gather as we celebrated our son’s graduation.

We really enjoyed our stay. Sara’s home was very cute, clean, and in a good location. She was. Wry responsive to any questions we had. Appreciated the fenced back yards for our pups. Would recommend to others.

Great place to stay if you’re hitting the bourbon trail. Very quiet and peaceful.

Stayed for a trip to Mammoth Cave and so glad we found this hidden gem. Such a beautiful and clean place. Felt private and got to enjoy the hot tub all weekend. Hosts made the access and stay super easy and very comfortable. Highly recommend!

This was our second stay so that should tell you how much we thought of our first stay. This location is close to several cities with museums, restaurants, parks and historical locations. Some of our favorites include Abbey of Gethsemane, Sisters of Loreto, Big Bull Steakhouse and Bardstown Community Park. Jill and Matthew are meticulous and respond so quickly to answer questions or make recommendations. We highly recommend their Schoolhouse and will be back soon.

The communication was easy and timely. We arrived at night with no issues and were very surprised to wake up in the morning and look out the window to giant yards and beautiful fall trees! The amenities were wonderful and the snacks were delicious. The space is very cozy and well taken care of, loved it!

This studio apartment was perfect for an overnight stay. The description on Airbnb was accurate, we loved the lake inspired theme and the bed was comfortable. The location was great with little to no noise, the pizza shop (next door) was closed and we did not hear any noise from the tattoo shop above the apartment. We would recommend this place to anyone needed a safe place to stay overnight. Bonus it’s pet friendly!

Gwendolyn is a great host! This is a great spot to stay for a quick weekend getaway. I highly recommend checking this place out if you’re looking to stay in the Bellevue area.

Communication was undoubtedly the best you could get! Not only did she make the guests feel welcomed with cinnamon rolls as a warming gift, but she also arranged to have the place cleaned again for my son and his new wife to stay in for their after wedding night! This Airbnb was literally 2 minutes from the venue which was such a big help considering they had to run back and forth several times! We could not have been more pleased with the price, communication, location, and hospitality! If you are getting married at Oak Hill Gardens, you need to 100% stay here! Side note: This town suffered great loss the weekend before due to a tornado that destroyed a lot of their neighborhoods. Despite this tragedy, the owner made the weekend extra special and kept nerves calm and everyone at ease. We truly appreciated this and we send love and prayers to London 🫶🫶💯

This is a gem, especially at its current price point. Apartment is right in the heart of downtown, one block from 4th Street Live, a short drive from NuLu and the Bardstown Rd area. Louisville has really invested in revitalizing these areas with a ton of eclectic restaurants, bars and entertainment venues. The Apartment provides all new appliances, w/d, great balcony views, and security, with fob only access to the building and parking garage. There is a large private pool w/sun bathing area, hot tub and grill area for socializing. I was pleasantly surprised at check-in and thrilled by check-out with my decision to book with Devin and NaKayla! Whenever I come back to Louisville, I'm gonna look to book with them and would advise the same IF a one bedroom accommodates your needs. 5 STARS 🌟

The place was perfect for my bach party during Kentucky derby weekend. Especially with booking the top room as well. There was a door that combined both air bnbs. It was so helpful being able to go back and forth for both of my groups that were staying in their respective rooms. Amazing host no complaints on the stay what so ever. The only issue I ever see arising with this place is parking if you have people you don’t know stay in the other apartment. Definitely max of 4 cars fit in the driveway. And the sound levels for the bottom residents. But it is described in the description so if you complain about it then that’s on you for booking it knowing the situation. Loved the golf course right down the road. Good restaurants and walkable pizza shop and liquor store. Really was a great weekend with my friends and I thank Shaalim for being so responsive during the 10 months we communicated back and forth when I booked.

Charming neighborhood and beautifully decorated place. I only wish I hadn’t had so much to carry in since it was second floor walk up— only because I had dogs with me and their stuff too. We only stayed the night on our way to final destination though would stay again if we had plans in the area.

My family had a fantastic time. George was quick to respond. The area was so peaceful and full of wildlife. Our dogs were definitely living their best lives. The kids enjoyed all the recliners and hot tub as well as the outdoors and their numerous encounters with turtles. They have already asked to return.

Neat little cabin with huge fenced in yard surrounded by mountains and woods. Very nice appliances in the kitchen especially the refrigerator. We ate most of our meals at the cabin. The place caters to dogs with bowls and bedding and dog food and treats! Gravel road leading to the cabin was not difficult to travel despite the rain. There are some loose dogs in the area but we had no problems even walking our dogs on the gravel road. A neighbor pointed out some trails through the woods which we are saving for our next trip. The shower door came off the rail but was quickly put back by Krystin's team.

We were looking for a private, relaxing night on our road trip home and found this listing on airbnb. James responded quickly, and it was exactly what we had in mind. The cabin was lovely and the setting was fantastic. I spent the morning with a cup of coffee listening to birds and watching the river from the rockiing chair, petting the local cat. Highly recommend!

This tiny treasure is ideal for a solo break, and wd be manageable for 2 people who really liked each other! 😉 The hosts were very gracious & so easy to communicate with. But its true gift is the peace & quiet, the calm you'll feel as you sit on the screened-in porch, gazing into the woods & listening to the summer songbirds. Take time for self-care, give your busy brain a break, relax, meditate, pray, sit in silence & be grateful

We found Carolyn’s place to be peaceful. The view of the lake is beautiful from the back porch. The house is clean. We were communicated with very well. She even checked to make sure we arrived okay and asked if we needed anything. She gave great instructions on finding the house. We would recommend this home to others if they are looking for a peaceful stay. The house is not far from some great distilleries as that is one of the reasons we came to visit. The surrounding areas are incredibly beautiful. Grocery stores are not far as well. We would visit again.

Absolutely loved our stay at Bear Branch Cabin! The style and furnishings were beautiful—cozy, modern, and thoughtfully put together, making it feel like a true getaway. The hot tub was a perfect way to relax in the evenings. We had one quick question during our stay, and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and stylish retreat!

the place is better than it looks on the pictures I think you do feel right at home I walked in and it even smelled nice. this place is great she has been so kind to me she has worked with me I accidentally damaged some property and working with their family was fantastic no judgment or anger. Any question I had she got back with me within a 1 to 2 hour time period sooner most of the time actually. you will love it I don't need to know what you're looking for you could be looking for anything in a stay and you'll find it here.

Everything about our stay was perfect. The home was beautiful and peaceful. Anything you might need was provided and more. Beds were so inviting and the wrap around porch and friendly neighboring dogs made it a magical wooded getaway. Cannot wait to return. If I could give more than 5 stars I certainly would.
