Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Bahía Ballena

This place was perfect for our family of 4. It was spacious and the outdoor living space was beautiful. Two pools in the complex were perfect for our kids and the neighbours were all welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be back!

This place was AMAZING!!!! Ana was our contact for everything and she went ABOVE and Beyond to help us with SPA, Horseback riding, trips to the waterfalls etc.. Our Chef's were top notch...

Very well-located and secure accommodation. The hosts are very responsive and adorable. The bungalow is minimalist but there is everything you need. There is no air conditioning in one of the bedrooms. The bathroom is en-suite to the double bed room. Check-in to the unit is easy. We had a lovely stay at Désirée's.

Such a beautiful home, located in the mountain so not the easiest to get to, definitely need a 4x4, but beyond worth the drive. Stunning views, beautiful home. Truly such a wonderful experience. Be sure to ask how to turn the hot water on because we were showering in cold water the first few days. A 10/10 experience, can’t wait to come back.

I absolutely loved staying at John’s place! I cannot recommend it enough! The entire space was extremely clean and comfortable. I got amazing sleep because of how comfortable the beds and sheets (no joke!) were. We loved utilizing the pool and hot tub! John really thought of everything for this space! There are so many thoughtful amenities. It’s conveniently located and isn’t too far from the marina (excellent fishing), amazing restaurants, fun excursions, and supermarkets! I went to the supermarket several times and they had a great selection! We did river rafting and went to Antonio Manuel National Park (close by). There are some beautiful beaches in the area too. John was extremely easy to communicate with and quick to respond. This was my 21st country to visit and I’ve been to over 30 of the US states. I can confidently say this has been my favorite Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. I am a travel agent as well and would not hesitate sending my clients here! Highly recommended!!

Couldn’t have asked for better. 11 of us from age 9 - 63 stayed in this lovely home and everyone enjoyed it. The house is spacious and bright with air conditioning in all of the five en suite bedrooms. The bathrooms are all a generous size. The kitchen is well equipped with two full size fridge/freezers. The entire property inside and out was spotless. The pool is beautifully maintained and there is plenty of outdoor seating and tables. The neighborhood is peaceful with lots of wildlife to appreciate. The beach is gorgeous and never busy. We swam everyday. There are numerous activities within a half hour drive. Finally, Malwina was a truly gracious host, helpful, accommodating and responsive. Elizabeth, the property manager was also wonderful. We looked at dozens of homes in Costa Rica and are delighted we selected Malwina’s. I can’t recommend it highly enough

The villa and views were absolutely beautiful. We had a group of 8 and everyone enjoyed their stay and definitely would like to come back one day.

I booked this listing for a group of 8 women. We all needed time to get away from our busy lives in the U.S. The six nights at La Sombra were peaceful and inspiring! What a beautiful location and beautiful grounds. We were all stunned by the property, in a good way:) It was even better than the beautiful pictures provided. Each villa was appointed beautifully with quality linens, towels, robes, bath soaps, dishes, etc. We especially enjoyed the patio views and the design of the structures that incorporate natural light and the surrounding nature. We ate dinner each night on the patio of the main house, and found a spot for morning meditations on the bridge. Catherine and Ryan were available and responsive before, during and after our visit. And, I cannot say enough about the local cook, Marta. We all wanted to take her home with us! What a treat:) Thank you for sharing your home with us, Catherine and Ryan!

Stunning house! The views are incredible and lovely to wake up in the morning with floor to ceiling windows of the view across the valley. It’s pretty remote but that comes with being on the side of the mountain with the views and only a 20min drive down to the supermarket / closest restaurants.

Hillary and Johnny were amazing hosts. Very responsive and attentive to our needs. Always easy to reach and quick to respond. Helped to curate and make this one of our most memorable trips. The property is absolutely amazing. The views are stunning. The drive up the road and the driveway into the home is not for the weak at heart, but it is well worth the effort. My husband and I have stayed in Costa Rica multiple times and this is one of our favorite locations. Road was in much better condition than many of the other roads we have traveled in the past.Hillary helped arrange groceries to be delivered to the Villa prior to our arrival as well as directed us for local private chefs, and private in Villa massages. They were readily available for any needs that arose while we were there. It should be doubted that there are only curtains in one bedroom however that was not a drawback for us. Casa Linda Vista is a magical house in Dominical. The home is perfectly situated up the mountain with a spectacular view from the infinity pool, hot tub and patio over- looking the jungle & ocean. The home inside was very open and spacious with a soaking tub in one of the two bathrooms where you look out to an amazing scenic window into the jungle (also with the ocean in the distance). The walk- in showers are wonderful. We also appreciated the amount of cupboard and dresser space for our belongings. The kitchen & livingroom are very spacious. We walked to Dominical & challenged ourselves on the return up the beautiful mountain road. We just love the quaint town of Dominical which we have visited several times before & enjoy the beach, restaurants stores & local weekly market. This was the first time we stayed at this house The host Ron & Monica were our contacts & were very responsive, friendly & helpful. We stayed about a week & it was wonderful!

I cannot say enough about the beauty of this location. The view is unbelievable. The house is so well sited to take advantage of the view. The porch is gorgeous and soaking tub is lovely. The house is glass on two sides to take full advantage of the view but also completely private. Modern decor with a serene and peaceful vibe. Isaac responded immediately to our questions when we arrived. Great weekend getaway. We will definitely stay here again!

Guillermo was a great host. He met us at the gate and was very welcoming. His place is a fun quirky little place and his pride of ownership shows. The kitchen was well stocked and the La Hermosa town square, with a consistently good little restaurant La Cuchara de Lao, was a short walk away.

Definitely a gem! I love San Luis and this is a great place to stay. The cabin is super cute and the property is gorgeous. I loved the rainbow eucalyptus trees right outside the cabin. The amenities were very nice, super relaxing - especially the infrared sauna and the yoga area, which both have a view of the distant waterfall. I especially enjoyed doing yoga while watching toucans fly from tree to tree in front of me :)

This house is very close to the center of Pegibaye de Pérez Zeledón. We think it's close to the center of Pérez Zeledón, just a few minutes away. This accommodation was exceptional. We had a rainy day, which was also perfect because we could see the mist between the mountains. The view from the Jacuzzi adds 5 stars. 100% recommended
