We really enjoyed our stay at Jessica and Luis. Not only for the nice and quiet of the property, but also because of the good vibe and willingness of Jessica and her family. The property is very cute and located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. Birds, monkeys, and the sea are part of the sight and constant sounds. The bungalow is very comfortable and has everything you need. And whatever you don't have, Jessica and Luis are always attentive to help with whatever you need!!

My partner and I had an amazing experience here. The accommodations are simple but plenty comfortable, and the property is incredible. The managers Tarky and Nicole showed us around the property (so much space, epic mountain views, so much food growing!), took us on a tour of the biological reserve next door (amazing organization, epic waterfalls and real jungle trails without tourists), and made us really good "comida tipica" for just a few bucks per meal. It was nice to have access to the kitchen, too. If you're looking for a quiet place to go deep with the land, experience the jungle/mountains and have a taste of the Costa Rican countryside, this is it. We also went home with a bag of coffee from the coffee plants outside our room and it's the best I've had in a long, long time!

The view from this Airbnb is absolutely breathtaking. We spent hours with our binoculars, watching toucans and macaws glide over the treetops with the ocean as a stunning backdrop. The price for that view is unbeatable. During our stay, construction started nearby, and it seems likely to continue through the year. The crew worked most of the day, so if you’re sensitive to noise, I’d recommend bringing headphones or another way to block out the sound. It would be wonderful if the city of Quepos considered limiting construction hours to balance development with the area’s natural beauty.

Wonderful accommodation in the middle of the jungle. Very quiet and secluded. Requires a 4x4. Pool is shared with another house. Breathtaking views from the pool. Would come again.

It was our third stay with Noah and Maria. Once again, top notch service and very happy to be able to call them friends at this point. If you’re staying in the area, it’s def worth staying with them.

Very nice room in a heavenly setting! A real little bubble, peaceful and so pretty. I recommend it 100% for a total disconnection 🧘🏻‍♀️ You will be lulled by nature and its inhabitants. Again, thank you for the lovely welcome.

Cozy cabin in the jungle! My husband and I were so grateful to find this place last minute. I loved being so close to the local wildlife. I saw toucans and blue morpho butterflies almost every day.

Definitely would love to come back

The place is perfect for a long weekend getaway with family or friends. My stepson and my dogs had a blast. The property is beautiful, spacious, and safe. The kitchen is shared but has everything you need. The price seemed fair, and we definitely hope to return soon.

Vanessa and Nicolas are very welcoming. It's nice to chat with such friendly people. Nicolas recommended a great restaurant for us. They're both very smiling. The place is perfect, the dinner is excellent. A little extra for the beautiful dog Lafayette.

We had a super nice stay, apartment is very well equipped with a great kitchen and balcony! The view was beautiful and a great stop if you want to drive through the mountains :)

Len and Vani’s place was such a dream to stay at, absolute paradise. The house looked exactly as pictured and was very clean. It was great to be able to relax in the hot tub and pool and we loved waking up to the sounds of the jungle each day. They also have the two sweetest dogs, and their pup Reina always lovingly greeted us whenever we would return from our daily adventures. Communication was excellent. We would definitely stay here again without hesitation! Thanks so much Len & Vani!

Our time with Charlie was perfect! He is a very nice man and very helpful. We wanted to spend 1 week on the beach and goods in good hands at the property. The sea is just a stone's throw away and the beach is just fantastically beautiful! Also the pool was always clean and was great for refreshments! Our outdoor kitchen overlooking the greenery was awesome, often we saw the monkeys dancing in the trees in the morning. Those who love nature, the sea and nice people should definitely go to the Junglehouse! Charlie, thank you and best regards to everyone and to Lukas, thank you for the great seafood soup yesterday! The place is beautiful, a lot of Paz what we were looking for, the comfort of the house and the spectacular pool, a place made for descasar and have a good time, totally recommended. The good service. We'll definitely be back there.

A lovely family and a wonderful set up. JP and Emma were friendly, accomodating, and took us to local attractions when it aligned with their plans which was a nice authentic Air BnB experience. JP sorted a local mechanic for my car when my cars starter died. A real help! They inspired us with their trampoline wall, along with zip wire and general awesome play orientated set up. Its a great place for a family stay (we had our 16 month old and she loved it) also they have 2 lovely young children under 4. There is a lovely community feel here if you stay a while. Even the travellers without children were great to have around. These guys are circus pros, and you will see some cool stuff if you stay a while. We will be back!

If you want to experience Costa Rica as a local, Aaron's place is a great start. His home borders the rainforest where we were "serenaded" by holler monkeys every morning. As we enjoyed our morning coffee sitting around his pool, we saw various birds in his trees. Aaron took the time to lay out his site so that the pool received the best sun in the morning before the heat increases. We rented one room in his bungalo. It was quite comfortable with plenty of storage space. The bathroom featured a large curbless shower. The outdoor kitchen was perfect for our needs. Yes it did seem strange at first but there aren't any bugs so it wasn't an issue. We did see the room he occasionally rents in his main house and that is very nice. The cost was very reasonable with all the amenities. We were quite surprised how economical it was to experience Costa Rica. Aaron is very knowledgable about the area. He helped us set up an itinerary and made arrangements for us too.

rita was super nice and welcoming. the place has a nice little pool that the kids enjoyed very much. and sitting on the couch looking at all the greenery was great. the house has extra small things that helped, like usb splitters to charge all our phones (our appliances aren't with the local plug, so that helped a lot). the television is only in one room though. and can't be seen from the living space. if you decide on ojochal, i definitely recommend Rita's place. aside from that, about the location. it is quiet and pretty, but ojochal was a bit problematic for us. some water, and electricity cut offs (didn't have water for half a day), and the main bridge to ojochal sometimes gets swept away by the rain, only to be rebuilt in a few hours. there is another longer way around though in case that happens

Michael was a wonderful host, he was very friendly and easy to communicate with. He responded quickly to any requests I may have had. The panoramic view from the unit was spectacular, the place felt very private and secure. I enjoyed my time and would visit again ⭐️
