Holiday rentals with lake access in Bahía Ballena

we had an issue at another property and had to leave very quickly in the middle of the night. I was able to get a response from Beau and get connected with his local person to get us into this property so we had a place to sleep that night. It was very appreciated with his quick responses and ability to get us somewhere safe that evening. There are a few of his units and they are behind a commercial type of development with a few restaurants there super cool area right on the main paved road in Dominical. I would definitely recommend this place to other patrons.

Luz and Jose Juan are full of love; they have become our family. Luz has a great sense of humor and motherly. Jose Juan is quiet and loving. They have four grown-up children who sometimes stay in the house. This is your place if you want a rural, relaxed Costa Rica experience. It is centrally located, 1.5 hours from the beach or mountains. The kitchen is the center of the house. There is no AC, but there is lots of cross ventilation. We stayed in the main house with Luz and José Juan for a few weeks. Afterward, we rented one of the "workers'" cabins, which was very basic but a great experience. It was what we needed right next to coffee plantations. If you want to learn about agriculture, you are in the right place—birds and butterflies in the wild. If you rent a car, a 4-wheel drive is best. Otherwise, organize with Luz separately for them to take you to places. You can also order UBER. The listed cabin is on a very steep mountain w. gorgeous views. A 4 x4 adventure.

Our stay at Daniel's country home was incredibly relaxing and peaceful. The vast property offered exceptional privacy, nestled alongside a stunning river perfect for leisurely swims. The meticulously maintained swimming pool, filled with pristine river water, added an extra layer of luxury to our stay. Inside the home, a refreshing breeze flowed through the spacious farm windows, enhancing the tranquil atmosphere. The surrounding gardens teeming with beautiful birds further added to the charm of the place. We found the showers to be consistently hot and the beds provided utmost comfort, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Daniel's hospitality truly exceeded our expectations. He offered invaluable recommendations and remained highly responsive throughout our stay. The cleanliness of the property was impeccable, and the well-stocked kitchen made meal preparation a breeze. Our experience at Daniel's country retreat was nothing short of delightful.

Ashley's home was absolutely amazing. We are a family of eight and her home was well equipped to support our family. Absolutely amazing food forest of pineapples, passion fruit, inca nuts, bananas, katuk, jackfruit and so much more. The water is drinkable and there were few outages (which are common in Costa Rica). Ashley was very responsive to any needs. The VIEWS are everything and more! It's well worth the "adventurous" drive up the mountain. Every day was an experience and an opportunity to explore the area. There are hidden waterfalls, different fruits around the community and a peaceful waterway that you can hear from the Casita (which is a separate property from the main house). Todd and Jill were our neighbors, and they were there when we needed them. Todd was helpful in maintaining the grounds. Our children referred to him as the "fruit fairy" because he would leave passion fruit on the steps and pineapples on the back porch. Overall, it was a great experience!

Accommodation located a few minutes walk from the whale marine park, with restaurant options nearby. comfortable, safe and well located just minutes from downtown Uvita. would definitely repeat the place.

Gissel's house is a cute jungle home! The green yard in the front is super peaceful and the front patio is an awesome place to hang out during any time of the day. It's also well located just a minute away from the Costanera so you can easily access Uvita or Domi when needed.

This was a lovely quiet area just on the edge of town, easy to walk to grab coffee or to the atm. Easy walk to Uvita waterfall to the river. The main noises I heard were construction down the road and happy animals playing with their people, otherwise it was very peaceful. The room was very clean and the fan was plenty to stay comfortable. The kitchen was accesible and had the basics handy. A great place to explore Uvita.

Even though it is a little far from the beach it has a convenient location, minutes away from restaurants, gyms and supermarkets. Clean place, the kitchen is spacious and convenient. Quiet place to rest and relax. There is no air conditioning but it has a fan and the house good natural ventilation. The price is very comfortable and the host is super friendly and pleasant! I recommend it
