Stayed with parents, it is the nicest place any of us have stayed. The site itself is a hidden gem. It's beautifully landscaped and the cafe has the best carrot cake I have ever tasted. All of the staff were lovely and the owners are really friendly and passionate about the site. The lodge is SO spacious, the pictures don't do it justice. The kitchen has everything you'd need to stay here for an extended time. There were lots of thoughtful touches throughout the lodge. The beds are unbelievably comfortable and the blinds are black out. Outside there is a large decking area right around the lodge and lots of furniture. My Mam has Mobility issues which is why I chose this lodge and it was perfect for her. I can't fault it in any way, it was perfect - we will be back. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Excellent accommodation for our family of 7 with plenty of space and spare bedrooms with good local amenities and a beach close by. Only setback was the closure of the free public car park close by on the bank holiday which led to searches for space as close to the house as possible. This didn’t change our view of this excellent accommodation

Great place in a quiet spot good for colouring Cowal peninsula. The separate sauna and hot tub were even better than imagined. Great place for those with mobility issues.

This is a great little property which suited our needs as a base for our trip to Fife. Easily accessible to the road network with stunning sea views to wake up to. The property was extremely comfortable and offered everything we needed by way of amenity. Would happily book again when next we visit the area.

Superb stay at Oscar's. Checkin by keybox is always the best. The house and location are excellent. The house is really large and spacious, well equipped, and spotlessly clean. The location, right on the marina, is perfect. Chris and Sara were very responsive to message, replying quickly, clearly and helpfully. We will be back!

Lovely place very clean ,and the beds were very comfortable ,close to the station and a few shops ,if my daughter dosnt move from shotts i will book this again ,would definitely recomend .

A very enjoyable visit for me and my partner. The place felt very homey and welcoming, and the surrounding area was beautiful. The hot tub was a very nice addition and tied everything up in a neat little knot. Our host was also very kind and helpful when we needed it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone else looking for a cute place to stay for a few days.

Leigh was an amazing host, so accommodating and helpful with everything when we arrived. the cabin was perfect and we loved the attention to detail with treats for humans and our 4 legged family. immaculately presented and just what we needed. we cant speak highly enough of this little gem of a place, so peaceful with a little store just a 5 minute walk away with a reasonable selection of groceries.

This place is lovely we only stayed one night. It was spotless and the towels and bed sheets smelt really fresh and clean. If we are in Edinburgh again I would absolutely stay here.

Rena's place is magic!! The views are incredible and the farm is very neat and so very interesting. It is literally on the top of the island and a short walk from the Glaidstone which marks the highest point on the island. The Bothy is well appointed and was so warm and cosy and upon arrival we found a bottle of Prosecco complimentary to celebrate my birthday. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have told all our friends and family about this magic spot. We will definitely back. Thank you Rena for everything and being such an incredible host. See again soon.

We all loved Tracy's Wee Hoose. It is well looked after and has everything you need. Nice touch with the welcome goodies too. It was perfect for our planned trip across to Edinburgh, plenty of trains throughout the day. Really close to Kinghorn beach and shops etc Pettycur a nice stroll down the hill. Also great charity shop and Bagel cafe for breakfast! It was fantastic to use the Spa in the garden. Lights, music, shower, chairs, table etc all there for you. I think Tracy has pretty much thought of everything. Highly recommend.

We can’t thank Lee enough for a wonderful stay at The Carthouse. The house was immaculate with all the amenities we could wish for to enable us to relax in a beautiful environment. Lee was the perfect host. Welcomed us warmly, provided local recommendations and went above and beyond to ensure we focused solely on relaxing and enjoying our weekend. Jacqui was absolutely fantastic, so friendly and so helpful and kind felt at home and so comfortable the place was spotless the hot-tubs were placed perfectly and got your own privacy with beautiful views. 10/10 will be back

We absolutely loved our stay! The cottage was very comfortable, the views were perfect, and the host was so friendly and helpful. We loved the pool, it was so warm and perfect for kids. The patio was beautiful and great to enjoy in the mornings and evenings. We can't wait to come back again!

What a place to stay!! From the initial booking and super communications with Steve, we’ve enjoyed the best few days in Scotland ever!! The bothy is in the most idyllic location on Mull, but at the same time only a short drive from the ferry terminal. We were met by Steve on our arrival (earlier than expected as the cottage had been free the day before..this gave us half a day extra really!) and showed around the property…wow, wow and WOW!!! The design, the immaculate presentation, the comfiest of beds..an absolute credit to Steve who has put so much thought and effort into such a wonderful place..and the view…well, there aren’t any words!!! We were blessed with beautiful weather whilst spending our few days exploring parts of the island (the bird life is exceptional!!) but if the weather had been different, we could’ve very happily stayed in the cottage just watching the tide roll in and disappear again!! Thankyou so much for letting us stay..we’ll see you again soon!! Jill and Neil

We were so impressed with Jane's property - it has wow factor! It was beautiful inside, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It was the perfect location to explore the local area and within walking distance of the town centre. Would definitely recommend!

Had a great few days at Kirstie’s. Great layout, high standard and super comfy beds. Ideal part of town - near all amenities but still quiet. Large car park nearby, so never a problem with the car. Would highly recommend!

Laura’s house was spotless. In a beautiful location overlooking the bay and close to Galloway House gardens which are well worth a visit. Garlieston is a lovely village with a local pub that serves good food and there is an excellent cafe called the Hive. Would highly recommend this house.

Great apartment in a fab location, loads of space and immaculately clean. Would definitely recommend and revisit next time we are in the area.

From start to finish, our break to The Old Barn was an absolute delight. I booked this accommodation, because the photos looked amazing and it was even better in real life. The Old Barn was tastefully decorated and everything in it was in excellent, clean condition. It was also very well equipped and as I like cooking our own meals, it made everything so easy for me. The view was picture postcard perfect and it was so relaxing looking out over the lake. I have never seen so many barn swallows before and adored watching them do their acrobatic twists and turns right in front of the property. The best animal by far though, was the owners Golden Retriever, Bertie. What an absolutely adorable boy he was, so friendly and sociable. He even joined my husband and our Border Collie for a walk. Although we didn't get to meet Laura, Ronnie was an amazing host and nothing was too much for him. He made us feel so welcome and at home. I was looking for a quiet break and this was perfect.
