Holiday rentals with an EV charger in Avery County

A wonderful place. Very peaceful except when neighbors are out on their balcony, but for the most part very private. Also a beautiful view from the bed of the entire mountain. Windows open to let in the mountain air. The only thing I would improve is that there is no patio furniture. We had our own fold up chairs so we just used them, but it would have been nice if their was chairs provided since you are essentially coming for the view of the balcony

From the moment I arrived, this Airbnb exceeded all my expectations. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had every amenity I could possibly need (and then some). The host clearly put a lot of thought into the little details—fresh towels and even a personalized welcome note. The bed and couch was incredibly comfortable, the Wi-Fi was strong, and the location was perfect—close to everything but still quiet and peaceful at night. I’ve stayed at quite a few Airbnbs, but this one truly stood out for its warmth, charm, and overall comfort. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, hassle-free experience!

We had a great stay with Jamie. The location is close to everything you’d want to experience in Boone. Jamie was proactive and sent access information and instructions ahead of time. Jamie checked in several times and was ready to answer any questions that popped up. We loved how cozy this spot felt. Perfect for a weekend getaway.

This was our 2nd time staying here. Great view & perfect location to ski/snowboard & never have to get back in your car until its time to leave. Great location & has everything you need for a trip. Thanks again for another great trip to sugar mountain resort!!

Our second stay here. Will keep coming back. Both times we stayed for a week. Would move into this place if I could! Private with beautiful scenery. Our big dogs love it. The EV charger is icing on the cake!

What a perfect Airbnb! The house was beautifully appointed, whistle clean, quiet and comfortable. Communication was great. The house is very close to downtown, but Spruce Pine got really clobbered by Helene. It is courageously fighting to recover. We ate at a wonderful little restaurant in downtown, the Tropical Grill, and had a really good meal and conversation with the owner. There are still quite a few nice little shops and restaurants still functioning. Be aware that the Ingles Grocery store is closed due to flooding. But I cannot recommend this Airbnb highly enough. Absolutely first class place!

Monique made me feel very welcome and did not leave out anything on the descriptions. Everything was exactly as described when we booked. The property is very cozy. The driveway was a little steep, but not much more than any other property that I’ve stayed in around the area. I would definitely stay there again. Her communication is five star!

Great location with a magnificent view of the mountain. Its a perfect blend of cabin vibes and modern interiors. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed the fullest. The hosts are proactive and very responsive as well!

John's place was exactly what we needed to enjoy our family vacation. Easy on/off ski-in/ski-out experience with easy parking and quiet environment. I would recommend this place for any type of stay.

Loved our stay at Foxfire Den! My wife and I were looking for a last minute getaway and came across Marianne's wonderful property within close proximity to Banner Elk. It felt private, remote, yet minutes to Banner Elk Winery, the town Banner Elk and and easy drive to all the area has to offer. Immediately you feel at home and Marianne provides for all your needs in the home and recommendations for your adventure. Would absolutely look to stay at Foxfire Den for our next adventure to Banner Elk. Thank you Marianne! :)

We had an absolutely perfect stay at Above The Creek! It was the perfect spot for our girls’ trip. The space was not only incredibly cute but also truly the cleanest Airbnb I have ever stayed in. The space felt very fresh while still being super cozy. It was just what we needed for a relaxing getaway!!

Erin’s place was charming! Small and quaint yet modern. I loved the views from the balcony. If you’re traveling in winter or not in 4WD/AWD, you might find it a little challenging to get up the mountain. We were nervous about no A/C but the temperature drops about 10-12 degrees on the mountain. Open windows and ceiling fans were perfect. Erin was a very proactive host reminding us the day before what check out tasks needed to be done instead of trying to thumb through house rules/messages. Any time we reached out she replied almost instantly no matter what time it was. You’re not surrounded by endless activities but it’s very peaceful and all the surrounding towns are charming! I enjoyed the various restaurants we went to in Boone and Tweetsie Railroad is a must-see! Erin’s place was perfect for our weekend getaway. Would love to stay at her place again.

The view was breathtaking. The room was clean, neat and tidy. Space was a little tight, but it worked. Having the box fan because there wasn't AC was a definite plus. Appliances and kitchen were clean and well organized.

Had a great time and loved waking up to the view! The indoor pool and hot tub was nice.

Scott did a great job and the unit was well appointed. The balcony was a nice morning option and have stocked coffee and sugar is always appreciated. Pro Tip: The lift outside the balcony is the top of a blue run so plan to drop off beginner skiers at the lodge to warm up. There is nothing like taking the last lift of the day all the way up this ski in ski out condo.

Had a great time here and we were right on the slopes! Everything was wonderful and we had no issues :)

Katie was friendly and professional throughout the process. The condo was awesome, we stepped out with our ski eqpt and started skiing right at the top of the Oma slope. Will definitely come back for a repeat visit!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ski Sugar CC! The condo was cozy, comfortable and had beautiful short and long range views of the mountains and ski slope. Can’t wait to book our next stay!

Greatvplace close to Sugar Mountain, Beech Mountain, and Banner Elk. The unit was very spacious and had everything we needed to feel right at home. Great property with lots of fun amenities! Highly recommend. Would stay again.
