Holiday rentals with breakfast in Avery County

The house was perfect for a weekend in Boone and going to Tweetsie Railroad! The location/yard was private and beautiful and also close to town which was convenient. There was plenty of room in the house for our large family. We enjoyed it so much and will definitely stay here again!

Carl was very kind and helpful. Made it very easy on us and showed us everything we’d need to know. It was quiet and peaceful. The hot tub was a nice bonus before bed. We appreciated Carl’s kindness. Thank you.

The cozy cottage is nestled in nature with a lovely creek. It is beautiful inside and outside! The decor is gorgeous! Sean and Crissy went above and beyond making us feel welcome. The little touches - water in the fridge, sweet treats, breakfast options, towels for the creek, smore making ingredients were really appreciated. We would definitely go back again.

My wife and I needed a quick getaway and Mandy's place was perfect. We decompressed by taking in the mountain views from the porch. My wife and dog loved the porch swing. This place is very pet friendly and accommodating. Past guests complained about pet hair but we did not notice. The bed was super comfortable and the sitting room was perfect to take in the mountain views throughout the day. The little mulch area was just enough space for our pups to stretch their legs and relieve themselves. The binder was full of great suggestions on things to do and places to eat. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect place for our mountain get away! We love the amazing view of the mountains through the floor to ceiling windows in the beautiful sitting room and the option to wake up to the view from the bedrooms. Sitting on the spacious front porch enjoying our complementary coffee as we watched the sunrise over the mountains was the icing on the cake!! The cottage is very comfortable and nicely decorated. Mandy was always available to answer any questions and give advice on visiting the surround area. She responded very quickly. The cottage is easily accessible about a mile up the mountain on a newly paved road. It does have a few sharp curves and is a little bit steep for a short distance but is very easy to navigate. That is part of the charm of being in the mountains and having a gorgeous mountain view!!!! We would definitely stay here again when we find ourselves back in Boone!

Host was very responsive. Not anything that is their fault and they gave good directions but it’s a little confusing just due to the hurricane destroying access to get to the property. Otherwise it was a quiet neighborhood a great location. And they gave awesome recommendations for local things to do. We came for the hiking but did so many things locally. I would book again for sure!

Had a great one-night stay in Bluff City, Tennessee. The mobile home is on a beautiful, peaceful lot and is clearly well cared for and well maintained. The space was well set up and much nicer in person than the photos showed—pleasantly surprised! The full kitchen made it easy to prepare my own evening meal, and overall I was very pleased with the experience.

Cindy was a delightful host. She was there to see to anything that had to be done. She was friendly and responsive. I couldn't have been more pleased.

Awesome Experience: The castle is high, offers privacy, amazing views and peacefulness. We had a great girls get away to celebrate a birthday. We were in the Duke room set up with two twin beds. This is the only option for two to stay in separate beds in the same room (so far). First the host and hostess were both amazing and the tour was full of information. We felt catered to and comfortable. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The food was presented beautifully and everything tasted SO AMAZING. Benjamin is a wonderful chef. We had eggs benedict like we have never had before and filet, mushrooms and asparagus the night before. YUM. The castle itself also offers many unique sitting places to enjoy the castle and our favorite place was on the front upper deck, enjoying the views of the mountains with a glass of wine. We also hiked to the caves without a guide and that is a trip we highly recommend. It is steep at the end so hiking boots and walking poles are helpful, especially after a rain when it is muddy. The caves were quite large and it was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. Improvement Suggestions: The Duke room is a cool room but it is very dark. This could be improved by adding additional lighting in the room. A vanity or additional shelves in the bathroom are really needed too. With only a pedestal sink, a toilet and small shower, there is no place to put make up/toiletries so some additional storage in that bathroom would be helpful.

This is a quaint and comfy traditional bed-and-breakfast. The breakfast was delicious, the hospitality was warm and friendly, and the coffee was excellent.

Kerry is a superhost, the place is so tranquil and relaxing, you can feel the serenity all over. Kerry's warm hospitality made our stay blissful and we really enjoyed our stay there, the place is in the middle of mountains and there are many trails around. Such a lovely tree house offers a breathtaking view and serenity in the nature. Would love to go visit again in the winter. Kerry also makes delicious breakfast and don't miss that.

We had a lovely time. The room was very cute and nice and clean. The next morning we were served a lovely breakfast on the porch facing the river. They even accommodated my husband's gluten allergy at breakfast, which we really appreciated. We'll certainly book again if we're in the area

Wonderful stay at Chuck and Becky's Inn. Incredible, delicious breakfast, great tips on the area, nice touches such as roses in the room, snacks and water, tea in dining room all day. Kind, interesting hosts with a breakfast room that encourages getting to know fellow travelers.

Chuck and Becky are great! They continuously went above and beyond to make us feel right at home. Homemade breakfast every morning, even catering to what my 6 year old would eat. They had games for my kid to play and were extremely knowledgeable about the area. We will definitely be back when we come to town.
