Holiday rentals with lake access in Austria

Very nice apartment in a quiet location in a small residential area. Great view to the south towards Hohe Tauern or north towards Steinernes Meer. Walking in 15 minutes, you can reach the lake in 15 minutes, and by car, it is also only 15 minutes to the ski resort to Saalbach-Hinterglemm. In summer, it's also great for cycling. Thank you to Mathilde and Alois for the lovely stay!

We found a rustic alpine hut, arrived in the cold and fog, but then were rewarded with a breathtaking panorama! A beautiful cottage that invites you from the first moment, super well equipped, a warming stove for cold days, places to linger and dream. Great hikes along the lakes or to the peaks. A dream, a place to return to!

Marcus communicates super quickly and is easily accessible! The apartment is very spacious and the kitchen is super equipped! We'd love to come back!

We had a great time at Lake Attersee at Vanessa's place. All as described. The kitchen is really very well equipped for an Airbnb. The house is quiet. Communication with Vanessa was very straightforward. We would highly recommend it.

Katharina’s place was incredible! The views were amazing and Katharina was super friendly. If you are looking for a peaceful, well kept place to stay, then this is it. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and wish we could have stayed longer!

We had an incredible stay at Andrea’s place! From the moment we arrived, Andrea went above and beyond to make our visit special. The house was perfectly located to walk to the bus stop and ride to the base of Kitzbühel mountain for skiing. Andrea’s dog, Brunello, was super friendly and got along wonderfully with our dogs. The private, fenced-in yard was a great bonus, allowing our dogs to play and get their zoomies out while we relaxed. Every morning, Andrea made us a delicious breakfast at the times we requested, and she made sure we had passes for the bus and train to explore the area. Her hospitality truly made our trip memorable. We would absolutely recommend this place 10/10, and we’ll definitely be back to stay again for skiing in the area.

It was a wonderful stay in a fantastic area. Everything was in great condition! You feel very comfortable and can let your mind wander. The hosts were friendly and thought of everything important.

Nina is a very nice host, uncomplicated in handling with the booking (also in case of change), very friendly welcome. The space is modernly equipped, well maintained and is very well suited for slowing down (quiet location, great views of the lake and mountains for relaxing breakfast or dinner). For athletes: Traunsee cycling and running path as well as via ferrata in the immediate vicinity, sailing clubs and schools can be reached quickly by car (Traunkirchen and Ebensee).

Eva & her husband were super nice, very helpful and responded enormously quickly! The AirBnb was really nice, perfect location with a wonderful view of the lake in the morning from the bed - all in all highly recommended, top landlord and we felt comfortable right from the start! We will be happy to come back!

Everything is perfect, the room is clean and comfortable, the host uncle is also very kind, the town view is beautiful, it feels like paradise, I will visit again in the future when the flowers are blooming in spring!

We enjoyed Vienna for 7 days from this accommodation: Prater, Museumsquartier, Mariahilfer Strasse, Burgtheater, Café Schwarzenberger, Sperl or Eagle wonderful, cinema visit, all wonderfully accessible by public transport! Direct connection by U1 to the train station. It is worth dining in the beach cafe on the Old Danube in the evening on the raft. 😉😋 We are used to go swimming in the morning and were able to pursue this hobby in the Danube. Wonderful !!!

We had such a lovely weekend at Karl and Ulli house. They were hosting us in such a friendly and welcoming manner. We received so many recommendations and ideas of places to visit. And the rooms were cosy, warm, clean and comfortable. We’ll be happy to visit again Karl and Ulli 😊

The simple accommodation in the attic of a small house (with reception and sanitary facilities for a recreational area near a campsite) scores above all with the beautiful location between 2 bathing ponds. All around only nature, meadows, forests, cows, chickens, fish :) In summer it is surely fantastic here! Unfortunately, during my short stay in May for a seminar in Turnau (just a few minutes by car), there was unfortunately a lot of rain, but Peter provided me with enough pellets for the small electric pellet stove in the kitchen / parlor, and so I was able to heat the room quickly from 17 degrees to 23 degrees in the evening. The small bathroom with shower/WC is functional and equipped with a fan heater, so it was always quickly warm here. Bed linen (fresh but not ironed - that's probably modern now), towels and 1 dish towel were also there. Everything was very clean, I felt comfortable right away. I can therefore recommend the place!

Beautiful and peaceful lakeside retreat. The photos do not do it justice! The property is clean, well equipped, and has the most extraordinary views of the lake and mountains. Plenty of hikes from the doorstep, which kept us entertained. Even on rainy afternoons, curling up in front of the full-length windows with the views was idyllic. Herta and family were amazing, friendly hosts, too. Would highly recommend, especially to nature lovers.

I like to come to the Seehof. Above all, nature around the yard is simply magical. With the fireplace, something very special.

Amazing place, ideal for families, felt like a home. Fully equipped kitchen and whole house plus convenient terrace. Very helpful and responsive host! Highly recommend!!

We loved it. It is very cozy and peaceful. It was clean and neatly set up. I definitely recommend for a private getaway.

Our stay at Katrins place was great! she was always very kind and responsive, happy to accomodade some pecial needs we had because of the kids. She also proactively organize discounted ski tickets for Hochfügen. The house is exactly as in the pictures, lots of space for even a big group. Location is very good, close to some ski resort and some cute lakes.

We stayed at the place for three nights over New Year's Eve. Herbert gave us a friendly welcome, ordering the beer barrels and the use of the dispensing system worked out great. The surroundings are suitable for walking/hiking, a small lake is very close. We had a great time in the little cottage and can definitely recommend if you have a bit of peace and quiet and party undisturbed.

Wonderful cottage with an amazing lake view! We spent a very nice weekend at 6th in Kathrin's cottage and enjoyed every minute. Kathrin is an enchanting host & always available with information and tips. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped and the garden/veranda invites you to have breakfast, outdoor dinner overlooking Lake Völkermarktersee. The natural pool (5 min from the cottage) is nicely maintained and was the ideal place to spend a cozy Saturday by the water. We definitely like to come back to enjoy the peace, nature, the lake and Kathrin's magical cottage.

If you want to enjoy your privacy in peace, you will find the perfect place to stay here in a high-quality and modernly furnished ambience. Even on her own vacation, Brigitte was always available and regularly inquired about our well-being. Unfortunately, we were unlucky with the weather, which did not bother us further by using the sauna and fireplace. The region is beautiful and we will certainly be back.
