This home made my family and I feel like we were back at our own home. The backyard is perfect for family with plenty of space to run around and play games. Our favorite room was the 4 seasons room! This is the perfect getaway home for a peaceful time.

I think this place was great for our group size!! Noise from the neighborhood was pretty bothersome most nights along with the sheer curtains in the living room, but the bedrooms did have good curtains. Rachel was great! She was flexible and helpful during the planning process!

It was easy to find, with plenty of parking and simple access coming and going. The bed was very comfortable, and we appreciated the extra touches like a great selection of reading material, games, and a smart TV loaded with apps for entertainment. Our hosts were communicative, kind, and thoughtful throughout our stay, even surprising us with a generous gift to celebrate a special occasion. Great host, responsive, very attentive to make sure the stay is peaceful and very clean space. The first thing I notice was how organized and how well thought out the space was.

My wife and I have stayed in several airbnbs throughout the U.S. and other countries and Cheri's place is by far the most well-equipped and clean. She has thought of everything and even left us a nice basket of fruit and chocolate on both of our stays at her place. What a great host. We loved the apartment and garden too! We will definitely stay again next time we are in town.

A wonderful getaway place to go to for couples. The jacuzzi tub was amazingly relaxing and the location was peacefully quiet. My boyfriend and I absolutely loved this place and will be coming back soon!!

My family and I were in town for my nephew's graduation, and Marika's home was truly beautiful, so inviting, and comfortable. The time spent here was wonderful. This place has everything you need to feel at home away from home. Everything was clean and comfortable. The area was also really nice with tons of food and drinks within walking distance. The blue line is a short walk away and the busses run on the corner. I would definitely stay here again when coming back to Chicago.

What a great find! I'm talking about the room AND the host! The beds were very comfortable and the amenities were all we needed. The artwork was wonderful and the design of the rooms (lamps, table, chairs etc) were great. I especially loved the small room heater, it looked like a mini fireplace, I want one for my room at home! Kaye has thought out what a guest needs with all kinds of extras (covers for the chairs for pets), extra blankets, packet full of local information, and clear instructions. She was responsive when I had questions or needs. I was glad to meet her as well, easy to talk with and a very interesting person who knows Chicago extremely well. If I make it back this way, I would definitely stay here again.

The apartment was clean and spatious, better than in the pictures. It's located in a corner of Hyde Park, at a 15 minute walking distance from the University of Chicago. It is a very residential area, with not many shops or restaurants near by, but if you walk 15 minutes east you will find bars, grocery stores and a few restaurants. I came to do research in the library's archive so it was very convenient. I had some problems with the door code sequence, but Erika was very helpful and responsive. My only suggestion is that more detailed information about the check in is provided, because not everbody is familiarized with lockers and codes! But my general impression was very positive! I'd definitely stay there again.
