Holiday rentals with lake access in Au Sable Township

The cabin is beautiful very nice clean place to stay. Not my first time here and will continue to come back.

This home was the perfect spot for a quick weekend escape—peaceful, relaxing, and filled with great amenities. The view of the lake was beautiful, especially at sunrise, and made mornings feel extra special. Everything inside was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up to make our stay easy and enjoyable. Communication with the host was excellent—clear, responsive, and helpful from start to finish. Overall, a great place to unwind and recharge.

Girls weekend at Van Etten Lake. House is adorable with plenty of amenities. The back deck is as where we spent most of our time. Large and comfy. We had a bonfire one night (thanks for leaving us some wood - it’s hard to gather on motorcycles ;)). Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of linens and towels. We had a beach day in Oscoda and we want to come back! Found some nice spots for dinners. The weekend was over way too soon! Thanks for a great spot!

Our stay was a wonderful experience! Rick and Shellie provided helpful instructions prior to our stay and even provided a guest book with helpful information about local restaurants and fun things to do. We really enjoyed that the house was walking distance to the beach. The house was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities we needed. This was a great find!

We loved our stay at Mark’s place!! Beautiful views being right on the water! We couldn’t believe how well his kitchen was stocked and we felt right at home! The sun room was a perfect spot to talk or read while looking at the water. We highly recommend this place as Mark is a great host!

Jody is the ultimate host. She is a wonderful person and is there for you if you have any concerns. This was our second time at her house as we stayed there last year also. We feel like we’re at our home when we’re there. Just something about it like sitting and eating in the beautiful big back yard on the deck, or sitting at the kitchen table looking at Lake Huron and the back woods. It makes you appreciate being with your family and just enjoying each other’s company.

Had a great weekend away with the family here. Perfect place to stay with numerous areas to explore nearby. Ice cream shop just down the road was also absolutely incredible!

Marlene’s cabin was perfect. The water is right there and the beach area (while small) is private and wonderful to walk down to. Everything is clean and homey. I was constantly surprised about how good the amenities were. As host, she was also extremely communicative which we appreciated. The only thing was that the driveway was hard to find in the dark but that didnt diminish our enjoyment at all. Thank you!!!!

It was a great place to stay, very comfortable. I would like to get back in late spring or summer, the walk to the beach would be awesome.

Good place to stay in Alpena. Hosts were super responsive and nice when I had an issue figuring out the lock they came by to check I made it in even though I was checking in a little late.

tiffany rocks, super kind, checked on me, house was spotless, good for smaller dogs. comfy and cozy, plenty of sleeping space for 5. tiffany responded almost immediately every time. make sure to bring water to drink, none in fridge. great location to enjoy some peace in the woods and a day at the beach just across the street. if absolutely necessary you can walk from town. little distance but better then the alternative. have fun, thanks tiffany, see you soon.

We did not want to leave! This place is so great---the view, the knotty pine interior, the kitchen was really nice and had everything we needed mostly, it was just all around fabulous.

Karen was an amazing host! Check in was extremely easy and the place was easy to find! Both Karen and Mark were so so friendly! My mom and I thoroughly enjoyed wandering through Karen's shop downstairs all while chatting with Karen the whole time. We felt like we've known her for years! She was so helpful while I was trying to find the perfect gift in her shop. The space we stayed in was perfect! It was cozy, comfortable and clean! The black out curtains were welcomed, as were the A/C's and fan! The furniture was comfortable and everything we needed for the weekend. Highly recommend to anyone, and we will definitely be back in the event we come back to that area. Zero complaints!

Enjoyed our stay in Oscoda. The unit is newly renovated with updated furniture and fixtures in the bath and kitchen. The space is very inviting. The lake view was beautiful. Our hosts were very responsive to our questions. Rachel brought over extra blankets to insure we were comfortable. Great place for a short getaway for a count.

The house was beautiful and spacious! We fit 10 people easily, and comfortably. The neighborhood is nice and we walked downtown and to the beach each day. My one thought was I wish there was a washer and dryer in the unit due to all our dirty beach clothes. Highly recommend this house for family getaways!

This was in the perfect location. Right near town and the beach access. The house was very clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Glad that we chose this place at the very last minute. The place was nice and quiet, the deck is very peaceful to just sit and relax. The kitchen is stocked with basic essentials.

It was a great weekend away! The cabin is so nice inside and out! I will definitley keep this place in mind if we ever do something like this again. Totally recommend:)

**Review of Our Stay at Teresa's AirB&B** If I could rate this place a 10, I absolutely would! From the moment we booked Teresa's AirB&B, my expectations were exceeded. I anticipated a simple house, but what we found was a fully stocked home that made us feel truly welcomed—perhaps I even overpacked! The cleanliness of the property was impressive; it looked exactly as depicted in the photos. We enjoyed a variety of activities, including kayaking and cozy bonfires in the backyard, which added to our memorable experience. The attention to detail was remarkable, and the proximity to the lake, just a few minutes away, made our stay even more enjoyable. We even drove up to Leland Mi “fish town” Overall, My 35th birthday was awesome! we had an amazing time and are already planning our return. Thank you, Teresa, for providing such a wonderful getaway! 😊

Great place to stay, this was our second time staying here and will def book again!

We went up for the fall colors and had a very enjoyable stay. The view of the lake is beautiful during the day. Without light from nearby towns we could see shooting stars at night. The cottage was exactly as described. Cute, well stocked and very clean. Being older it does have some minor quirks, but nothing that took away from our visit. These were also communicated in the description. The home is very dog friendly. The fenced in yard is great. The fact that it's in the front of the yard means it doesn't interfere the lake view or access. The inside also has retractable gates if you wish to restrict your dog access to rooms as well. Kaitlin quickly responded to all of my questions. She also has a very thoughtful and detailed binder for local attractions in the area. There is only a Dollar Store and small food market in town, so you will need to the next town if you need more than convenience items. The pizza at Smokey's Restaurant & Tavern was really good!

My husband and I had a wonderful time relaxing at this lake house. It had everything needed for us to kick back, relax, and unplug. Our host was very responsive with every contact that we made! The only thing I would add to the house description is that there are a few pretty tall steps in the house, so someone with bad knees might want to consider that. Great place and well with the money!

Beautiful place loved it everything about this place and the host was very informative about everything and very friendly definitly will stay again highly recommended

Mike’s cottage was in a beautiful location and very nice and clean. Mike was very responsive when I had a question and was quick to help me solve it. He was there when we needed something during our stay and was very informative about things to do around the cottage.
