Holiday rentals with a patio in Au Sable Township

John is an incredible host - super responsive, amazing hospitality and so kind! He had great recommendations for places to eat in Port Austin and gave us directions to visit the lake. The cottage was a lovely stay and just what we wanted for memorial weekend - peace and quiet in a gorgeous location!

We loved it we went to go ice fishing and this was perfect location and they were so friendly. We hope to go back sometime

This place was AMAZING! The old style Victorian alongside new updates made this place very comfy. My husband and I work out of town all winter. This was great for what we needed. Scot was fast to respond (more than myself) and very helpful. Definitely staying here again while in town next time! Thank you!

We just spent the weekend in Midland. Lori's place was easy for us to start from to get to downtown, the Dow Gardens, and the rest of the sights - but far enough away to feel quiet and by ourselves.

This place was one of the best Airbnb booking I ever had. Everything was perfect and totally worth the price. It was just wonderful staying here. I would definitely come back and stay here again. I higly recommend it to everyone else.

Our stay at this property was fantastic! It was exactly as described and super clean, making us feel right at home. With plenty of space for our family, we loved being just 5 minutes from the marina and found our favorite swimming spot on the lake. The kids had a blast fishing and roasting marshmallows around the fire pit at night. Morning walks were enjoyable, and the nearby general store had everything we needed. Gale was incredibly responsive and accommodating. If you’re looking for a true Northern Michigan experience, this is the place!"

First and foremost Our Host Cassandra was awesome from the time we booked till we left.❤️ We had our first family vacation here and the location and the fishing and the whole area with the beach right down the road was absolutely perfect and beautiful!! Exactly what we wanted!! Also the fully stocked kitchen plus the other one lol was awesome even tho we didn’t even use the upstairs kitchen it was awesome to have it ❤️ My family and I truly recommend this cabin aka RIVER HOUSE 🥰 p.s. We left wood for the next family 🥰

We had a wonderful weekend at this beautiful lakeside cottage! My husband and I stayed here with three of our adult children, their spouses, and our grandchildren, and everything exceeded our expectations. The house was incredibly well-equipped with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable and relaxing family getaway. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. The cottage was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully stocked—from the kitchen essentials to cozy bedding and everything in between. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy, yet the common areas were perfect for gathering, sharing meals, and making memories together. The location on the lake offered a peaceful view and opportunities for fun. tThe grandkids fished all day, we cooked out for dinner and we ended the evening with a wonderful fire at the fire pit provided, every moment felt special. We’re so grateful for such a seamless and enjoyable experience and will definitely be returning!

We all enjoyed our stay! The lake is beautiful. The house is comfortable and has great views of the lake. We loved having the Blackstone to cook on. Plenty of space inside and outside. Would definitely stay again!

I surprised my husband with this holiday cabin/cottage on the lake getaway. He loved it!..and so did I. With GPS...the home was easy to find...even in the evening time, after dark. The home is warm and cozy. Loved the cabin decor. Love that all the rooms are on one level ( except for the mud room...just one step off the kitchen). We enjoyed sitting out on the 3 season porch drinking coffee in the mornings. Just keep in mind if you're traveling in the winter months, the porch is not heated. We just kept the door off of the living room open so that the heat would circulate. With our robes on and our hot cup of coffee, we did just fine. The views of the lake was awesome once the snow melted. The kitchen was fully stock with appliances, seasonings and spices. Slept like a baby on the queen size bed. Ample amount of clean linens. Bathroom nice and clean. Nice restaurants and pizza spots around town. Dog friendly! Would love to visit again in the summer months. 100 STARS ✨!

An excellent and peaceful stay with beautiful lake views, accomodations that make it easy to feel right at home and excellent additions to bring your stay over the top like the barrel sauna!

Great Beach House! My family and I stayed here for 4 nights. The surroundings are beautiful. We watched the sunrise over the lake every morning and enjoyed the patio and fire pit each evening. We enjoyed the early morning wildlife-bald eagle, deer in the lake, a multitude of different birds, and enjoyed watching and looking up thw freighters as they passed. The lake was supeisingly warm even when thw temperature outside was only in the 60's. Definitely bring water shoes! Port Austin was a short drive North where they hold an amazing Farmer's market on Saturday.

The house is really beautiful, here you will find all the necessary for the stay and even more. We had some problems with the cleaning of some sheets and a bathroom but the host rapidly sent a cleaning team to solve the problem, very good!
