Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Athens

A nice cozy place to stay - close enough to UGA campus to walk when we wanted, but far enough away to be very quiet at night. For the two of us, this was a great place to stay. For a larger group, I think the small bathroom would become restrictive.

This was my first Airbnb experience. Don was very helpful and I was very pleased with the home. It is a newer property and loaded with amenities. Making the reservation was easy and the check in and check out was seamless. I highly recommend Don’s place if you are traveling in the Athen, GA area.

The property and the location could not have been better for us. We were in town from UK for our Nephew's wedding and had a great time staying at Rachel's. Athens is a great place to visit with a lively atmosphere and plenty to see and do. if you are visiting Athens and need a well appointed, comfortable place to stay, then this is it 😊👍

We chose Maggie’s place because it was close to our daughter’s wedding venue and looked like a pretty place for the bridesmaids to get ready and have photos that morning. It didn’t disappoint! Everything about it was beautiful-very clean and inviting. The linens are lovely and the owners went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The record player gave us fun entertainment. The game cabinet was very well stocked. The bathrooms had toiletries. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and even all the things that make cooking easier (salt, oil, etc.). We enjoyed having a home base during a very busy weekend. Maggie was also very helpful and let us come back later after we checked out because we realized we had left my daughter’s wedding cake in the freezer! We are very grateful and recommend this place wholeheartedly.

Very comfy seating in the living area, and gourmet coffee flavors to choose from in the morning. Neighborhood felt safe, and I loved being able to walk to a beautiful hiking/bike trail. Jon was very friendly and responsive. Would definitely stay again if I had an event to attend in Athens.

This place is a great landing spot for a trip to Athens. It's located on a quiet street in a great neighborhood and is close to campus and restaurants. Its is really well thought out in terms of use of space. The kitchen is cute and well-stocked, with lots of storage. The washer/dryer is an added bonus! Although the bathroom is small, it manages to squeeze in some storage (and hooks!) and is clean and stylish. Although I didn't have any problems with it, I could see the small driveway with parking shared with the upstairs unit being a bit dicey. Would definitely stay here again!

This was such a great stay. The best way to describe this place is it felt like visiting a family member’s vacation home. It was homey, comfortable and we loved all the nostalgia, books and decor in the house. It’s not bare, which is what we loved. Location is perfect to campus and downtown. The beds were very comfortable too!

Great home! My family and I had plenty of room and the location was perfect for any and everything we wanted to do in Athens. Highly recommended and very appreciative of the hospitality and graciousness of the host.

Loved our stay in this unique space in downtown Athens! Location could not have been better as it was close to UGA and in the middle of great food and shopping - not to mention the awesome addition of Kilwins right at your fingertips. Very clean, comfortable, and spacious. Loved this unique historic space !

My wife and I stayed here after our wedding and it was a great experience. Super clean and very organized. Jaime and Neil were great hosts!

Enjoyed our stay! Townhouse was just as described. Our kiddos loved the daybed and colorful couch downstairs. Community pool was a plus!

Our son stayed here while attending a summer program at UGA. Will was very responsive and kind. His place is within walking distance of where my son’s classes were. Perfect little spot!

This place exceeded our expectations. It’s better than the pictures. Best part of this place is the screened in porch surrounded by forestry. We sat out on the porch each night and had breakfast on it every morning. The place was clean and had all amenities needed for a short or long stay. We asked if she had a pack n play for our infant to stay in and it was all set up when we arrived. I kept saying all weekend how happy I was to have booked here. She was very responsive months before our stay and we had immediate responses during our stay whenever I messaged her.. This place is truly a gem.

Great Airbnb if you’re going to Athens, especially if you have business at the university! The place is very nice and pretty clean. I would stay here again if I were to come back to the area.

Neighborhood was very nice and quiet. The place was very clean and loved the coffee in the morning! It’s about 1 mile from the stadium and I was expecting it to be just a little bit closer. The host was very responsive and a pleasure to work with! I would definitely recommend.

Excellent stay. Everything was clean and as described. I was highly satisfied with the location to downtown. My son was staying near campus for an event so going to and from the kids hotel to the Classic Center was super convenient and fast. All appliances worked and the kitchen is stocked with all the essentials to cook and clean up. The beds are super comfy and, while I’m not really a stay in and veg kind of person, it was rainy and cold so was grateful for a TV with a gazillion available channels and streaming options. Will definitely stay again if in Athens.

This was the perfect space for our visit to Athens - nestled off of one of the main streets. It was convenient, minutes away from campus, clean, comfortable, clutter-free and provided all the amenities needed. Would stay again!

Incredible location! Easy to find, load and unload was a breeze (I was a little nervous about that part and there was plenty of space) and instructions for entry were clear and thorough. Adorable unit, loved all the Georgia decor. It was walking distance to everywhere we needed to go for the weekend which made it the perfect fit for what we needed.

Had a great stay here! Right in the heart of Athens; super close to tons of great stuff. Parking garage was very close, and it was easy to find a parking spot
