Chalet holiday rentals in Arkansas River

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy chalet! It was super cute, clean, and just the right size for our family. The neighborhood felt very safe and peaceful, which meant so much to us with little ones in tow. The chalet backs right up to the national forest, giving us easy access to beautiful hiking trails. Our kids were entertained the whole time with the playground and volleyball area, and the low speed limit (under 10 mph) gave me so much peace of mind as a mom with three young kids riding bikes around. It really felt like a perfect little family getaway spot. We’d definitely stay here again!

Loved staying here! It was perfect for our family. Space and location was awesome! They were also extremely accommodating letting us come in a day early and stay, my family had the best time! Would absolutely stay here again and have already recommended it to several friends and family.

This place was amazing. It had everything we could ask for and so much more. It was spotless. The hot tub on the river was amazing. My kids love the games provided! We felt like we were at home! Hello yes me and my family loved the space and area . Great view of the mountains great background view for photos took lots of photos amazing space and loved the balcony bottom and top amazing place would highly recommend to family and friends. My family had an amazing time as well as I did excellent 100 % worth it 😀👍

My wife and I were looking for a three day getaway, and Pat's house was a perfect antidote to what ailed us. The home was well-prepped, wonderfully situated, and a terrific place to refresh. Upon first glance at arrival, we were overwhelmed by the volume of indoor and outdoor art. As the stay progressed it became obvious that each of the objets d'art were well-placed, meaningful, and the result of 40 years of personal curation. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and highly recommend booking the home if it is available. Don't pass it by or you might lose out. Arroyo Seco is THE place to stay near Taos.

We had a family vacation with grandparents, adult children and grandkids. There was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you will need to prepare food. Very comfortable beds, heated floors, and the hot tub was so relaxing. The views from this home are incredible. We would definitely stay here again.

The view itself is worth 5 stars. Very comfortable for our family. Easy to find - great communications and accommodating a special request. Close to red river and Taos for fun activities.

We loved our stay here! The home is beautiful, clean, spacious, and private. We brought our family of 6 (4 kids 13 and older) and it was perfect for us. There was space to spread out with a private bedroom/bathroom downstairs. The living room and loft are large with lots of seating. Outside there is a beautiful porch, fire pit, and hot tub. The home has been remodeled and it feels clean and new. The kitchen was well stocked and all the appliances are new. There is a large washer/dryer downstairs that is new as well. And the bathrooms are clean and modern. The location is 3 minutes from Angel Fire Resort. It’s in a beautiful neighborhood that was peaceful and quiet. We daily saw deer, chipmunks, and prairie dogs in the neighborhood. We sat on the patio every morning enjoying the beautiful view. In the evenings we hung out in the hot tub. The hosts were great. They communicated well and were quick to respond to any questions we had.

If you are looking for a beautiful view, look no further! The pictures don’t do it justice. The kitchen had everything you would possibly need. Comfortable furniture and beds are a plus. We had everything we needed for relaxing stay. We were taking this trip to celebrate retirement, and we were very happy with our stay. It’s worth every penny! Kirk was easy to communicate with. We would definitely go back!!

What a wonderful place to stay! It is exactly as described, and very comfortable. Bridget and Nathen were super responsive and supportive, making everything easy and seamless. There is no AC, so the house did get warm on us, but the mountain breeze kept it comfortable. having the windows open at night left lots of sound from the road, and sadly for us they were doing construction all night, but the provided sound machines helped a ton! We are so grateful for the wonderful home today stay in. Next time we are in Bailey we will be checking to see if we can stay here again.

We had a great stay! Even though Texas Flats was closed at end of season, still easy to walk down and get access to Headin Home from the house and close enough to walk up and take breaks during the day. Awesome views, well stocked kitchen, and games to entertain at the end of the day. Would stay here again!

If you have a big group get together, this is the right place to come!! My friends and I came to celebrate Father’s Day and we had a GREAT time here. The house is VERY PRIVATE and u will not bother the neighbors like in suburban area’s houses . If next time we come back to this area, we will definitely want to comeback to this house again. The only problem we had was the oven didn’t work, but the stove was working for us to cook our food. We just need to clean up the BBQ grill for it to work. Otherwise ALL are great!!

Great cabin with easy access to Taos Ski Valley. Kayta was responsive and a great host. Highly recommend.

La estadía permite disfrutar de todos los servicios de uno de los mejores resort de la zona. En realidad pasamos la mejor semana en familia. También la cocina está muy bien dotada para preparaciones. Volvería sin dudarlo.

Great stay - 6 adults, 6 kids. Beautiful house, peaceful and quiet. We had plenty of space. Cooked a lot in the well appointed kitchen - used the gas grill. Everyone loved the beach - we fished, kayaked and made s'mores by the firepit. Having a dishwasher and washer/dryer was very convenient. Beds were comfortable- everything in the home is very well thought out. Lots of towels, sand toys, chairs, kayaks - they thought of everything! Matt was a very kind and responsive host. Thanks for a wonderful week!

Beautiful house, well styled, and had everything we needed except ice (which wasn’t a big deal). The only thing I found to be frustrating was the placement of electrical switches. They were labeled but always located in random illogical places. Some switches were labeled do not touch and when you’re fumbling around in the dark flipping random switches it’s hard to avoid the ones you aren’t supposed to touch. Over all we had a great stay so I didn’t take any stars away for it.

We loved our stay at the A frame! It’s beautifully decorated and we loved the private container pool and hot tub. The scenery couldn’t have been more gorgeous. It was a great get away for our anniversary!

Great space. We had a few people for a bridal brunch and everyone loved the outdoor space and TV to watch basketball. King beds were cozy. One of the rooms with a king bed is a loft with no real door but worked great for our single guest.

Beautiful home on a beautiful property. It was peaceful and relaxing and everything we needed and we loved it so much we’ve already rebooked! Rainie was amazing, anytime I had any concern, concerns or questions She responded to me within minutes.

This is our second time to stay at Jamie’s lake house, and it was just as amazing and awesome as the first. Our family has quickly come to love making forever memories here, and our kids absolutely love coming here. The location and amenities are way above average. Kayaking, swimming, grilling, golf cart, playing games and most of all relaxing. Favorite part is kayaking out on the lake at dusk - so relaxing. The lake access is incredible, and the house itself is always pristine and clean with well stocked bathrooms and kitchen items. Thank you Jamie for another amazing stay! We will be back again!

This place will always hold a special place in my heart. Hosted a wonderful bachelor weekend with 10 of my best friends. We also utilized the cottage adjacent to the chateau. Everyone slept comfortably and we all felt at home from the jump. The grill was out of commission but fortunately they had a backup Blackstone that worked perfectly for our grill outs. We loved the boat dock and downstairs basement where we watched our Pacers win an epic Game 1 of the NBA Finals. Incredible weekend get-a-way and my compliments to the hosts.

Thank you Emily for the last minute booking for us. You were so accommodating and your place is wonderful. Super clean with great furnishings and amazing patio and backyard with the water right there. Private with just a few houses around the lake. Would definitely recommend and hope to be back!
