Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Ardrossan

The house was booked for 12 friends, we all had a great stay. The garden was beautiful and we spent most time outside due to the beautiful weather. The rooms were all great sizes and were very clean on arrival. The space in the house was great for the event, and everyone in the party felt so at home in the house. The kitchen was spacious and had everything that you would need. Bathrooms were well kept, and the hosts had left plenty of towels for hotub. The games room was perfect for evening entertainment and we had great laughs in there during our stay. The house location is a 5 min drive from the ferry terminal and 5 min drive into dunoon town. Would highly recommend booking this for a weekend away!

As a family (2 adults+toddler+dog) we stayed for 1 night stop over. We had been camping before on a festival for few days were got soaked and cold. The cottage was excellent! With a fire place and hot shower, for us was heaven on Earth. Very well equipped kitchen help us feel at home and cook a meal. We would definitely come back!

Neil was a fantastic host! Very responsive, proactive, and friendly. The house had everything we needed for our trip and offered a peaceful, quiet atmosphere. The beds were extremely comfortable and we all had a great night’s sleep. The place was clean, tidy, and free of clutter. Highly recommended!

We were impressed by the photos on the website but the cottage was even more impressive than the pictures suggested. A spotlessly clean cottage, warm and welcoming, with lots of spaces to relax from the comfortable bedroom, spacious lounge, dining kitchen, cosy nook, and porch area at the back of the property. The garden was magical too, and I found myself drawn to wander around it, seeing something new each time. We were VERY lucky with the weather & the lower patio area was a fabulous suntrap! We have a friend who lives on Bute and when we come back we will definitely look to book Hawthorn Cottage. Thank you Rosemary, we had a wonderful stay.

Carmen is a super host, we absolutely loved the home from home home feel. My little boy who is 2 years of age settled to sleep well in the childrens room (this tells me he felt safe in the cottage). The roku stick was available to use and worked easily. The trail at the side if the house has beautiful waterfalls to view and a few stopping spots for those who need to go a little slower/steady or have children. We experienced no issues at all with our stay. Thank you Carmen we will definitely be back again.

Great well equipped house, amazing views, walking distance to the pub, loads of hot water, comfy beds and sofas, everything worked. Dog friendly. No off road parking but there was always plenty of space on the road in front of the house

Superb property. The house was very comfortable with a very well equipped kitchen. Bedrooms all a good size and plenty of living space. The views across the loch are amazing. The kids loved playing hide and seek in the large garden, which is very private and not overlooked. We should have made more of the outside patio with the well appointed garden furniture. Lynn the host sent us really useful info about things to do and places to eat in the area. We did quite a few and they were all great recommendations. She also responded to queries about activities really quickly and checked in to make sure everything about our stay was going ok. Location is really good. Easy access to nearby Rhu and Helensburgh. We found it a good base from which venture out for a range of activities and big enough to spend time in the garden and house - and enjoy the views. A great property and brilliant host. We would highly recommend.

Our week at The Stables is one of the best holidays we've ever had. Laura and Ronnie we're so welcoming and the accommodation is idyllic. It was such a relaxing week in a stunning area. There were plenty of walks to do with our boys (dogs) and resident Bertie made them feel right at home. We're still missing Bertie now!! I think I asked Ronnie for local recommendations everyday and he was always so happy to help. We'd highly recommend Nick Nairn's for a meal and takeaway pizza! The Stables was impeccably clean, perfectly equipped for our stay and an all round great spot. We'll definitely be visiting again.

We had an amazing stay! The host was absolutely lovely and provided exceptional service from start to finish. Everything was perfect—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully set up. The location was beautiful and peaceful, with plenty of space for our dog to run around and enjoy. We also really appreciated the little touches like the coffee and dog-friendly extras. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

Fantastic stay. Caravan had everything we needed for our stay including condiments, iron, towels etc. Beautifully decorated and in a peaceful area. We will definitely be booking again!

The location is beautiful, surrounded by nature, making it ideal for anyone seeking a peaceful getaway. The cabin is well-equipped, providing everything you need, from kitchen utensils to toiletries. Everything matches the pictures and descriptions perfectly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend it to others.

Ronnie has been a great host ... he couldn't have been more helpful. Some lovely little touches on arrival leaving us some essentials and also a gift for my friends 60th birthday which was the reason for our visit to Scotland. I would definitely recommend Ronnie and his Caravan its lovely, clean and homely and has everything you need. He even put together a guide book which was really useful. We are hoping to book again for next year

A perfect bolthole.... plenty of space inside for us and our 10mth old grandchild. Beautiful decking area with glorious view and we sat out several times..... very private. All mod cons included..... making it a very relaxing place to chill out. When we had a problem with the heating Andrew came and fixed it with a friendly smile. Mary explained all about the Lodge when we arrived and was at the end of the phone if needed. Thank you both. Kathy & Iain

It was a really nice place to chill. Personally, Saltcoats didn’t have a lot of what I look for in terms of dining and entertainment . The dogs loved the beaches nearby and because the caravan was so nice I was happy cooking and spending time chilling out there. I couldn’t have asked for more proactive and helpful hosts and they have made my first Airbnb experience a positive one. Thank you Gemma and Guy your place is lovely.

A beautiful centrally located flat in the heart of Glasgow's West End. Lovely decorations, has everything you need whilst also being a calm, quiet flat on the doorsteps of great bars and restaurants!

The lodge is a lovely place! Felt right at home, it is light and has everything it needs! Very cozy, the fairy lights and record player were a nice touch The woodburner outside is a lovely touch! Perfect to stay with a dog!

We booked this as our last location while visiting Scotland and I’m glad we did! It was such a peaceful way to enjoy our trip and not coming home feeling like we needed a vacation from our vacation. All the amenities were lovely! We used the tub numerous times, I meditated with the fire going, the fairy lights were magical. Overall, wonderful experience and I would definitely book again!

I stayed here for two weeks while training at the Ayrshire Grooming Salon and had a fantastic experience. The flat was clean, quiet, and felt very homely, exactly what I needed after long days of training. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept so well throughout my stay. It’s also in a great location, just a short walk to Asda and several local restaurants. Everything I needed was close by. I’d definitely stay here again, highly recommended!

Pauline's place was so perfect! she was so accommodating with the fact I used it as a base during our wedding weekend which meant a few visitors to assist me in getting ready! I'm SO glad we booked with Pauline, honestly the feeling immediately was one of comfort & luxury. the interior was exactly to my taste .. I might be taking inspiration when spending our wedding money! The bathroom was amazing and the lovely products on offer just the icing on th cake. We even arrived much later than anticipated and Pauline came right out to greet us! Our dogs loves it too. can't recommend enough and we hope to return! Many thanks! Our stay was exactly what we hoped it would be! Beautiful space, lovely hosts, peace and quiet - all bases covered. The hot tub was excellent and well-used by us during our stay! Genuinely don't have any grumbles about our time at the house and would highly recommend it to others. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Amazing stay at a beautiful home! Will defintely be back. Just a note to say there are no towels provided but you get plenty of warning for this in the messages before arrival. We were coming from New Zealand so didn’t want to bring full towels so purchased some on the island instead
