Max was great! Always quick to respond and super polite. His place made you feel like you aren't even in the city, yet you are minutes away from everything you could want or need!

I'm a professional traveler, so I've been to many bead & breakfast rooms at this point, and this was the best one so far.

Stack'd at Nickel Plate

We LOVED Joe’s place! It’s unique and decorated in a clean, fresh style. He had games for us to play…which we took advantage of. He has outdoor spaces, which we could still use even though the weather wasn’t perfect! There were no unpleasant surprises at Joe’s place. It is as clean and inviting as the pictures. Joe was super easy to communicate with…always responsive. He allowed us to check in early so we could unpack before our granddaughter’s warmups…and check out late to allow us to pack after she finished her meet Sunday morning. The 3 of us are looking forward to returning next May. Can’t wait to go back!

The Plum House, a charming bed and breakfast

ShannonRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The Plum House Bed & Breakfast in Elwood was a lovely one-night stop on our trip through Indiana. The B&B offered us a few hours of peace and quiet after a long day of driving. The house was beautifully decorated, from the wrap-around porch to the three individual rooms, bathrooms, and kitchenette upstairs. We stayed in the Paris Room which featured a very comfortable bed and a private, attached bath. The French theme was evident throughout the room even down to the key chain with an Eiffel Tower charm. Jayne was a delightful host and managed to accommodate our needs in the midst of her own hectic schedule leading up to a family wedding. Jayne prepared a delicious full breakfast for us which she brought upstairs and served in the kitchenette. Please be aware that guests must be able to climb stairs since all of the rooms are located on the second floor of this historic home. We enjoyed our stay there and would definitely recommend it for anyone visiting in the area.

Honey’s hideaway!

LindseyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Mick’s place is a great location! Especially for events at Grand Park Complex. Short drive, lots of great food options and even some local coffee shops! Mick and Lesley were extremely responsive, kind, and his place was perfect for a quick getaway. It’s also located right on a bike/walking path that made it super convenient to get a run in, in the mornings. And my favorite things- the shower water pressure was out of this world! Might sound silly but if you travel you know! It was so cozy and cool, the air conditioner was perfect for us! The bed was SO SOFT and plenty of comfy blankets! The little touches of snacks and drinks made us smile and feel welcomed.
