We loved staying at Maria's apartment. Although it is in the busiest part of Apollonia it was very quiet inside. I am a light sleeper so I am very sensitive to noise at night. Once you have closed the shutters and shut the windows it is very peaceful. We really enjoyed the homey aspect of it and the spaciousness. The terrace outside is a bonus and the views from the windows are lovely. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with everything you could need. Tupperware is in abundance which was really useful. Any issues to do with the television (we managed to connect to Netflix) were swiftly sorted by Maria's son, Vangelis, who is an absolute star. He helped us with our luggage on the last day as there are no cars allowed in that part of the town. If you have a car you can park in the nearby carpark, otherwise the island has the best bus service I have ever known in Greece. The island is full of fantastic walks and hikes and if you stay here, you won't really need a car to get about.

We were really very happy with the place and in general with our stay in Sifnos! The island offers all that you expect in a relaxing and relaxing summer vacation. We borrowed a moped in Apollonia, which makes us wonderful in max. 20 minutes to all the beaches of the island. From the balcony and terrace of the property, you have beautiful views of both the sea and the inland. The place is perfectly located between Apollonia and Artemonas, so you need a maximum of 15 minutes on foot in both places. Dioni always responded to us immediately with questions and concerns and she had some great tips ready for us. I highly recommend a vacation on the island of Sifnos and a stay at this lovely apartment - we hope to come back soon!

We had a fantastic stay, the place is perfectly located in the center of Apollonia but in a quiet street. Katerina was a great host. She welcomed us on arrival and was always available for questions and recommendations. We felt at home and wished we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful, well-located house with great views between Artemonas and Apollonia. Great bakery, (Veniou), traditional sweets shop (Theodorou) and restaurant (Margarita, where the locals congregate) nearby in Artemonas which is worth exploring! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
